El Corazón Boutique Hotel

I stayed here for 10 days as a solo traveller and had the best time! Everyone was kind and welcoming. The hotel was so comfortable and the staff went above and beyond. It was very close to town and the beach. The cook to order breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight and I look forward to visiting again. The space is so well curated and everything provided for a safe and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for 7 nights and it was amazing! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and always had everything I needed. The AC was effective but so were the fans, so I was able to use less AC than I'd expect.
The service was immaculate, everyone was so kind. Sonia and Fabio at the front desk were very helpful and chill. The kitchen staff was remarkable. The breakfast was delicious, very substantial, and varied enough that I didn't get tired after 7 of them. I happened to be there on my birthday and they gave me a VERY tasty surprise chocolate pie. Speaking of birthday surprises, they also decorated my room. I mean, I didn't even tell them but they took note! It was really cute. It wasn't necessary, but it was a nice touch of warmth. And of course, the cleaning crew, I never had sand inside after they came! Really amazing and felt fresh everyday.
I chose this hotel because its partnership with Hotel Mawambi beach club, which is so easy and quick to walk to, and for the reviews of the breakfast actually tasting good, which again, I completely vouch for. I'm so glad I chose this hotel because not only were both those super important to my trip, but also it ended up being such a great a stay in other ways. I booked my tours with them and they were very communicative and helpful as I struggled with indecision. The prices for tours were not more expensive when booking through the hotel which I thought was uncommon and much appreciated.

A beautiful hotel, furnished and designed with such immaculate care and attention to detail. Our room was just gorgeous. The owners/staff are attentive without being intrusive & were responsive to any query we had. The hotel is just a short walk from a lovely area of the beach where they have an arrangement with another hotel for beach use — it was the most blissful spot! The generous breakfast we enjoyed each morning set us up for the day, and was served by the loveliest breakfast team who were both charming and accommodating. We are very serious about returning next year because we left with such great memories of a beautiful week on Holbox island due, in no small part, to the team at El Corazon. Thank you so much!

I am a travel consultant and have seen many hotels around the world. El Corazon Boutique Hotel really stands out. It feels like a peaceful oasis. The hotel and rooms are decorated with so many beautiful details and we felt very comfortable right away. We received a lot of helpful information from Fabio.

A really nice hotel, very spacious and comfortable rooms, which smelled amazing too! The staff are fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help without being intrusive. The beach club couldn’t have been better and is a short walk away — I wouldn’t stay anywhere else this was a real gem. Breakfast too was great!

The service at this hotel is SUPERB and exceeded our expectations! It’s a perfect location to the center of town and the beach is just one street away. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and our bags were carried upstairs for us. The room is good size and the essential oils aromatherapy is a nice touch! The bed is super comfy, the staff is super friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to meet our needs including holding our breakfast when we arrived back a bit late after a sunrise kayaking tour. We really enjoyed our visit bicycling all over the island and paddle boarding and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The hotel is perfect: located just a few minutes' walk from the beach (beach pass included), a few minutes from downtown, and one of the best restaurants on the island is just steps away. Additionally, our room had a lovely balcony with a hammock and chairs for relaxing at the end of the day. The housekeeping was impeccable, not to mention the breakfasts on the rooftop, which were amazing. We were treated like royalty by Sonia and Fabio, who did everything they could to make our stay on the island unforgettable. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay here! The hotel is beautifully designed, the rooms are spacious and super clean, the bed incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and welcoming. We got beach passes which was a lovely add-on, and the beach club is only a short walk away. Location is great as it is just outside the centre (which you can reach in a few minutes walk) but means it is quiet and more private. Everything 10/10!

My friend and I stayed 4 incredible nts at El Corazón Boutique hotel. Every detail was absolutely amazing! The daily breakfast was so delicious and with such beautiful presentation! Each of the staff were so kind &helpful and went put of their way to make pur stay perfect! They shared great recommendations for restaurants & tours too!
Fabio, Sonia and Juan really made us feel at home and very spoiled! Definitely recommend this place when you visit the beautiful Island of Holbox!
ALSO. Having complimentary beach passes to Mawimbi were the icing on the cake! Great service, food and drinks! We loved every part of our vacation!

This is wonderful small hotel, and one of the highlights of our trip. The decor is really special and local materials and furnishings are used and in an incredible and interesting way. There was such attention to detail and so tastefully and creatively done. The breakfast room on the top floor had amazing jungle views.
The breakfast food was varied and so good. We loved it. The coffees too were superb.
The bedrooms and bed linen were so comfortable and of amazing quality.
The staff were all very helpful and kind and the communication was excellent. We were given a packed breakfast as our departure was so early. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented and a lovely surprise for us. The pastry was home made and so fresh. Nothing was lacking in this hotel. The beach club pass was fantastic as the beach club was very good, in a great location and really nice food and cocktails and the staff were fabulous, attentive and lots of fun.
We were only sorry we had a short stay and can’t wait to come back.

Sonia was quick to reply to my what’s app messages regarding my stay there. When I arrived at Chiquila, I texted her to ask about parking my car, taking the boat and finding a taxi to the hotel. Fabio was always there in the morning to advise us on getting to the beach and reserving taxi for our trip back. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good. Very peaceful and quiet environment. Slept really well without all the noise.
In addition, the hotel sent several messages to me before I arrived to offer us all the advice on getting there, what to do and where to eat. Excellent service and hotel stay.

We spent here three amazing days of our trip around Mexico. The hotel is very cozy, comfortable very close to the center of the island.
Rooms are nice, super clean, well equiped with daily cleaning service (towels are changed every day).
Breakfast is super served on a terrace with a fantastic view. There are several options, food is fresh and very tasty.
There are another big plus: with the room you have included the free beach pass to one very nice beach club, 5min walking from the structure. The beach club is amazing, with sunbed with a significant distance each other and with an amazing kitchen.
Lastly you really feel the warm welcome from the staff who pay attention to each single details.

El Corazon hotel was an amazing place to spend some relaxing and peaceful time. My husband and I loved everything about this hotel. It is very clean, attention to details, smells amazing, staff was friendly and caring, every space feels peaceful and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and healthy.
The staff was very flexible and helpful all the time. We felt safe and taking care of.
We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again when we are back to Holbox.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights as two couples and had a wonderful experience overall. The service was excellent, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
One thing to note: the hotel is advertised as “adults only, ” but we did see children during our stay. While they were well-behaved and didn’t disturb us, it was a bit surprising given the hotel’s description. If the adults-only environment is important to you, this might be something to consider.
Aside from that, everything else was fantastic, and we would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Our room at this adorable hotel was tastefully decorated with local furnishings. My husband and I fell in love with the super comfortable mattress and pillows. Breakfast was super tasty and abundant. I don’t eat meat so I was happy to see that they had a vegetarian option. Sonia the manager was super friendly and helpful.

I've stayed at El Corazón Boutique Hotel twice now, and both visits were absolutely wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk to both the beach and the town center, making it super convenient to explore or unwind.
I especially loved the daily breakfast and the lush greenery throughout the property—it feels like a little tropical oasis. One of my favorite parts was using the beach pass to relax at Mawimbi every day. It made my vacation feel even more luxurious and peaceful. I can't wait to return!

We had a lovely stay for 4 nights at El Corazón! The hotel is beautiful and our room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily which we so appreciated because we were always bringing back sand from the beach. Our room also had a lovely terrace.
The team organized some room decorations for us to help celebrate our anniversary which was very cute.
Fabio and Sonia were both so helpful and were always available to answer any questions we had. We had a very delayed flight and Sonia work alongside the transportation company to help get us to the island.
The breakfast on the rooftop was in such a lovely setting and the food was delicious and very filling.
Having access to Mawimbi beach club was very important for us and made the stay great. The beach club was amazing and we spent most of our time there. It’s about a 7 minute walk from the hotel.
This hotel is slightly off the beaten path but truly not far from anything. You can get anywhere you need on foot from here.
