Penang Hotels with a Pool

First time staying in Amari in Penang. This hotel is located in Bayan Lepas area, very close to the airport. We stayed here for 3 days 2 nights during Chinese New Year.

This is overall a beautiful hotel. The gym is incredible and probably the best I have seen. Pool is also very nice. More of a convenience location for the airport or for business.

Noordin Mews was great! We stayed there in Penang and it had a lot of character at a really reasonable price.

Noordin Mews is very nice boutique hotel in the heart of George Town, Penang. We can easily walk to near by shopping mall, food market.

This place is definitely a pleasant surprise! I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Penang. You have the Ferringhi beach vibe minus the exorbitant price!

So so nice… beautiful rooms, modern and big and clean. Super sunny, I think all have at least a partial sea view.
Every staff member we talked to was friendly and patient!

Food: The food exceeded my expectations. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite.
Service: The service was outstanding.

The swimming pool is not too deep suitable for children to swim.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying the buffet at the hotel, and it was truly a wonderful experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Hompton Hotel by the Beach. This is the second time we returned, and once again the experience exceeded our expectations.

When we arrived at the hotel, the person in charge for automated parking at that time named, Vickness, served and assist us. He is so helpful & kind.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, professional, and well organized. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Can’t fault this hotel at all we absolutely loved it. Rooms were so nice and pristine, loved having coffee/tea facilities, cold fridge, amazing shower and fresh towels and room cleaned daily.

Perfect location. Just 3-5 min walk to free CAT bus to town and to main bus station and Strait ferry. Lively and helpful staff. Cleaning rooms every day if you wish. Good Wi-Fi.

TLDR I’ll highly recommend this hotel.

Great heritage hotel. The room is not large but it is perfectly organised and with an excellent showroom. The hotel is an oasis of calmness within 200 metres of the action.

What a lovely heritage hotel, we stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Everywhere was clean, rooms a good size and beds comfortable.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. The room was very comfortable and offered a beautiful view. The facilities provided were generally excellent and well maintained.

Stayed here for a work event and thought it was lovely. The pool is stunning, with equally as good gym facilities — prob the best ive been to, as it had amazing views across the pool.

I had a wonderful stay at Courtyard by Marriott Penang. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained, with comfortable rooms and a great overall atmosphere.

We chose Courtyard’s small ballroom for our intimate wedding and it was a perfect fit.
Ms. Evy, the person in charge, is very friendly, patient, and responsible.

We had a really great stay at Cheong Fatt Tze. The mansion is beautiful! Pictures don't do it justice. It really feels like you're staying in a special slice of history. The rooms were really clean.

My wife and I had an excellent experience staying here. I wanted to go visit for it's history, and she wanted to because it was a filming location in 'Crazy Rich Asians.

This was our first visit to Penang despite having lived in Asia for 22 years and it was a complete delight.

What an amazing hotel! Each of the rooms is about the size of a UK 3 bed house. An incredible renovation we very much enjoyed our stay here and would stay again no questions asked.

⭐ We stayed at G Hotel Kelawai from February 21 to 26 (6 days and 5 nights), booking two rooms—and it turned out to be one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had.

Had an excellent stay here. Greeted with dessert when we arrived for check in. Check in and check out process was smooth. Porch parking was available on site.

Nice hotel! Located at the centre of Georgetown and nearby with lots of attractions such as Hin bus depot and deen maju. 24h pool and gym also provided.

Arrived at 10am, and too early for the check-in but they accomodate to leave our bags, and offer us some snacks and refreshments. They have 17-20m pool which is 24hrs open.

This is our third time back to Angsana and we deliberately chose to come back because it’s located in the quieter part of Penang and has close proximity to the beach, with sea views for all rooms.

Had a wonderful stay at Angsana Teluk Bahang. The staff (Aiman — front desk; Agnes — spa) and service were excellent from start to finish.

Im very picky about booking hotels & we randomly came cross Jazz hotel via agoda, best reasonable price for 2 days stay. Since it was my birthday, im even extra careful to avoid any disappointments.

We booked Jazz Hotel for 4 people as a family, stayed one night, and it was RM200+, really cheap for a luxurious hotel.

Nice, clean and spacious apart’hotel rooms north of Gurney Penang with a beautiful Instagrammable sky pool, gym, and had laundrette facilities.

Friendly and helpful staff in a lovely, serene hotel. There is street noise, ear plugs helped. Studio room with a kitchenette was perfect for a week.

My husband and I had a fantastic 5-night stay at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel.

Visited Iconic Marjorie Hotel for buffet lunch and function —not for a stay. The hall was spacious and well-decorated, perfect for events.

The Muntri Grove is just fantastic. I cannot recommend this establishment enough. We had the most exceptional service from start to finish, which really was of a 5-star level of standard.

My stay at Muntri Grovr was splendid. I stayed at a room on the second level, where the pool is also situated. There are complimentary ice cream and water for all guests.

Location very strategic at Gurney Drive. Check in was fast. Unfortunately we didn't get room upgrade for our platinum bonvoy, perhaps we arrived too late. Room was spacious with good view.

Recently stayed at the fairly new Penang Marriott Hotel, located along the famous Gurney Drive in George Town.

Beautiful, heritage building on Penang waterfront. Excellent reception staff, friendly doormen and wonderful breakfasts. Cafe staff very hospitable and friendly.

1st day, location is good, very convenient. Across the parking is a Hawker food place. Less than 5 mins walk is a convenience store.
Buffer breakfast included and it's the best.

St. Giles Wembley Penang Hotel is a great hotel to stay. The room was clean and its location is convenient to shopping malls and other tourist attractions in Georgetown.

Five stars for the attentive and professional service.

I stayed in this beautiful heritage house right in the heart of George Town for four nights with my family.

The location was good and the decor was filled with antiques. The hotel was very uniquely designed. Bad part was there was no breakfast provided.
