From approachable, capable and ever helpful reception staff to quiet, unobstrusive, efficient and friendly "background" staff, this hotel has the "Midas touch" with exception people to make you and your (hopefully well-behaved). Pets feel right at home. Aside from the outstanding service, the facility is quirky and unique, clean and customer friendly. Drinking water is ample and easy to get, the area is well kept (dog guests, please remind your pawrents to clean up your poop also outside of the hotel! ) and easy to navigate with kids or dogs. My only "can do better" point? The lights in the bathroom are too dim — but maybe I should just stop trying to apply makeup there 😉 A great place in all aspects but made truly outstanding by the people working there ✌🏻

Above expectations. Fantastic room, good sleep, good breakfast and best of all 5 star service. Front desk ladies always with a smile and ever ready with a helping hand. Unexpected nightly turndown service, pet welcome goodie bag and lots more of little surprises. Makes the stay all the more unique. Well done Noordin mews team!

My 3D2N stay at Noordin Mews was above expectation! 👍 The hotel was a perfect getaway, quiet, private, clean & comfortable in one of the best locations of George Town. Belinda, Eve & Anung had extended excellent hospitality to me and my family. 💕💕My Furkid had also enjoyed herself & having specially prepared meals from Pet Menu of the Hotel. To people who have plans to go to Penang for holiday, this is definitely one of your bucket list choice. 👍💕💕

Stayed here 2 nights in their suites. Brought my poodle. I would like to say thanks to Cedric and Belinda for the excellent service. They were chatty and helpful in every aspects. Highly recommended more for the personal service provided by this 2 staff.

We stayed in March 2020 and was so warmly welcomed. The staff are so friendly with lots of tips to make your stay as good as possible. It’s spotlessly clean and breakfast was very good. It’s a chilled out hotel and would love to go back.

The stay here is too good to just give a 5-star rating. Apart from a comfortable stay (very comfortable! ), it felt right at home throughout. The hospitality from the conceirge deserves another round of applause for their thoughtfulness, warmth and kindness shown. As this is also a pet friendly hotel, the staff here were extremely helpful in any pet-related emergency (my dog fell ill from the long drive and the resourceful staff helped locate a local vet). Another plus point for this hotel is they happily allowed us to bring packed food from outside and would take the trouble to even heat up and serve the food out for us. They know that this being Penang, hawker food is a must try and it would make sense to pack the food from some of the famous stalls where seating is very limited. I'm happy to find this little gem in the middle of Georgetown, will absolutely recommend this place and come back again in the near future!

Lovely hotel with beautiful heritage design. Really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean with helpful staff and the breakfast was good, catering for vegetarian / vegans too. Maps provided and they will give recommendations of where to go for good food.

The most gorgeous little hotel. The kindest staff, the biggest rooms, the most beautiful furniture and tiles, gorgeous pool, excellent g&ts. And that paratha… oh my god. 100% recommend this place, and on top of that it is such good value.

This place was the best thing about our trip to Georgetown! Really interesting decor, friendly staff, comfortable, just outside town, nice food and a relaxing environment. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in Georgetown next time!

Quiet, with pool, staff at the top.

Nice, cosy hotel in Chinatown. The staff is very accurate and friendly. Rooms are spacy. We just missed a minifrig in the room.

The surrounding areas of George Town retain the 'Old Town' charm of a market town found in many cities of the world. The Noordin News sits like an oasis smack in the middle offering clean and comfortable accommodating and breakfast. The pool too is clean and inviting. Street food stalls and more refined restaurants are walking distance as well as street shops selling a variety of items.

I loved this place. So close to the shops and food. They organised a driver for the day that was so cheap. On site meals, a pool and luxurious accommodation.

From Georgetown Bus junction Komtar (Everbright) very near, to Georgetown historical relics near, convenient, the street is famous 888 "Fujian noodles" booth, these days the meal is inferior to the stall, hotel service attitude is good, help call Uber save money. Mews room without bathtub. The overall feeling is very good.

I visited this place as my friend frm KL and US came to visit Penang. Love this nyonya peranakan boutique hotel in the middle of Georgetown.

Had a great stay at this lovely place, pool is definitely a plus point after a tiring walk, overall experience was good. With my only comment about the pop music that played at the public area, a bit too loud & is kinda strange of listening "poker face" in a heritage hotel. Shall have a better selection of music :)

Amazing place to stay, very different and the staff can't do enough for you!

Lovely place to stay. A tranquil oasis hidden away from the hustle and bustle of George Town. Great staff and comfortable accommodation. The decor is in a fascinating fifties style and the pool is a refreshing break from the heat. Don't be fooled by the street, it's a great place to stay and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Great one night stay, though getting a suite upgrade always helps the experience. Clean; friendly staff; good breakfast; great decor. Good, free Wi-Fi. A bit removed from the tourist core, but a 10 minute walk to the bus terminal. Recommended.

Very nice establishment full of charm. The staff is a little careful. The rooms are very nice. The pool is a plus in the late afternoon after visiting the city.

Excellent place. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was good, guess my only complaint would be that I could have eaten more. Pool is lovely.

Odd location and the night porter mumbled so badly we didn't understand a thing he said. The room was surprisingly good and every day when we came back there was a nice little surprise from the hotel. Good breakfast and otherwise very helpful and friendly staff. We also got some very good suggestions for where to eat from the staff and it's a good idea to listen to them, as they know what they're talking about. Overall a pleasant stay.

Beautiful little boutique hotel. A haven from the busy roads and bustling hawkers markets. Breakfast especially was fantastic (as you might hope in the foodie heaven of Georgetown. ) Honestly the best French toast I've ever eaten! The hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, big comfy beds, hot waterfall showers, and the capsule coffee machines in each room are a nice touch. The staff are lovely and keen to help. Only negatives were the night porter took 10 minutes to answer the door to let us in at 2am, and the upper windows do not have any curtains or shutters to block out the morning light (though this has no impact on privacy. ) Positives far outweighed the negatives hence 5* from me!

Superb service. The place is very clean and the interior is spacious as well as aesthetically pleasing. Also one of the few places that is pet friendly in Penang and allows big dogs.

I felt cheated. My brother in law paid for the hotel stay through Agoda (Full price) before making our trip there. The service was really good, and the staff there were very friendly. After staying at the hotel for 4 days 3 nights, we checked out feeling really satisfying. Upon checking out, we were informed that we had to pay an additional cost as they charged according to the number of people instead of room type. The additional cost we had to pay was almost 350 ringgit! I have booked through Agoda website so many times and this is the first time I have faced such a problem. How unreasonable!

We stayed for 4 nights at the shop house (2 bedrooms each with an ensuites plus a day bed). It was quite spacious for the 4 of us. We were greeted with chilled drinks and a fresh fruit plate upon arrival. There were afternoon tea/coffee with cakes/cookies if you so desired. An Asian breakfast is available daily in addition to regular menu. I especially enjoyed the locally made treat every night placed on the bed as part of the turn-down services. Most importantly, the friendly staff (Belinda and Mei in our case) made us feel very much "at home" and were extremely helpful with our entire stay in George Town, Penang.

Great quiet little place, we were on the street side but had no noise. Good breakfast with choice for everyone, the afternoon tea is a nice touch.

Great place to stay in Penang. Very close to Komtar and just a few minutes walk to Georgetown. Love the way the hotel is designed and decorated. Very friendly staff.
