Fantastic facilities… beds are extremely comfortable… breakfast caters for all people… a big thanks goes. Out to Edda at the rooftop bar for looking after us extremely well.

The Gravity bar offers good view of Penang and would be a good place to wind down and enjoy some beers. But my experience was made bitter because of staff that probably does selective targeting. I was asked to pay my bills at 9.40 pm although they close 11.30 pm. I was the only table asked to pay early. When I asked why, waiter said he will be asking all tables to do the same. I waited and observed — nope, only I was asked to pay. I wrote in to their FB site. To be fair, response was prompt. The person-in-charge responded the next day and apologised after he investigated. However, no reasons as to why the staff did so except to say it is not right. Apologies accepted but definitely leaves a poor taste in the mouth. I can only take a guess that their staff practices selective targeting — probably assumed we don't have money to pay. But only an hour earlier, I was at their Tree Bar. First class customer service and experience. Considering both places are under same owner, I can only summarise that the team in Gravity needs to learn from the Tree Bar team. Will I visit again? No to Gravity, yes to Tree Bar. Gravity — go learn more.

Great Staying Experience! Hotel room and facilities are new and modern, all 5 Stars's Amenities. Staff's service is very good! Love the buggy service to bring us to G Hotel Gurney for dinner. Enjoy everything here! Will definitely come back again.

Stayed here for my 23rd anniversary. It was a pleasant stay with clean room and comfortable bed and pillow. The hotel prepares a surprise cake for us to celebrate our anniversary! The staff was helpful and guess centric. I would like to complement Mr Kumar fr executive lounge that was professional and guess centric to enable us to have a great evening drink with good scenery. The supervisor on duty on 27 Dec 2020 morning was helpful that he himself drove us from kelawai to gurney g hotel on the buggy. Upon conversation v came to know that staffs were on leave and away but he took the trouble to provide the service to us. It was a great demonstration of the dedicated team in G hotel. Bravo. V had pleasant stay and will repeat the stay in future.

I have worked here as a trainee and I feel this hotel is beyond the level of standards. Nice Ambience and provides great hospitality. G Hotel Gurney & Kelawai both provides excellent stay pleasure to all the guest over here.

Lost my luggage and they are supporting me as much as they can. Which made me feel much better. I enjoyed the icecream touch too.

Great location — massive mall just right beside hotel. Beautiful room setting, feels luxurious. Would have been better if front desk staff is more cordial.

By Penang's standard, it is a 5-star. Hotel is definitely above the rest of business hotels. Service is very good but floor carpet looks worn out. Room amenities are good. Close to both shopping malls within walking distance. Less buzz than the sister hotel but more privacy.

One of my favorite hotels, in a great part of town. Pay for the upgrade and get access to the beautiful exec lounge on top floor for breakfast… The best way to start your day! Nice gym with incredible view. Also, visit the sky bar on the roof on your own or with some friends. The staff is top notch!

Located in the Gurney area, this hotel is situated right next to Paragon Mall and is a short walk to Gurney Drive food centre. Hotel room is huge in size and the room is clean and quiet. Staff here are very pleasant and friendly and they are always ready to help with any of our request. What we really love about this hotel is their infinity pool which is located on the 24th floor which gives you an amazing view of a large part of Penang. If you don't like being in the sun, you can also come up into he evening to enjoy a drink at the Gravity Bar. We love this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Great location, next to gurney drive food centre and malls along gurney. Love the rooftop pool and lounge. Small but intimate. Staff are efficient and friendly. Room is spacious and well designed. Would have given 5 star if not for the disturbing water drip sound from upper floor.

We checked into an Executive Premier Room, which gave us ample space and all the perks of the Executive Lounge. The specialty Serta mattresses in each room will almost guarantee a good night’s sleep, while those who have to catch up on work will be comfortable at the desks with their ergonomic Herman Miller chairs. Our room also had a great little couch and coffee table area which was where I preferred to catch up on work while tucking into the complimentary mini bar snacks. Top Hotel in Penang. Always like to come. Best pool in town.

This is my time in Penang and also first time in this hotel as well. The hotel is model and new. The executive prem. Room is so big, all you needed is well prepared, like bathing gel, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, iron, toothbrush and even sandal and umberella. The location is very convenient, just right next to two big shopping malls. It's also not too far to George Town, just 10mins away by cab. I'd recommend my friends to stay there.

Great location, modern yet warm decorations. Attentive and polite staff. Good food. Bed is amazingly comfortable. Hot water is came out hot and the quickest speed I ever experienced. Housekeeping is high standard, cleaning our room and care for little details. Finally, super fast internet, great job.

Great hotel. We stayed there for 5 nights and genuinely enjoyed it. Amazing service from the first step till our departure. Great breakfast and facilities. Very nice staff and super nice, I guess manager, sorry I didn't catch his name. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Penang.

New section of the G Hotel. A bit clinical looking but has a great outdoor, rooftop bar and pool… And for this alone is worth the stay. In between the two major shopping centres Gurney Plaza and Paragon. Easy bus, car transport from here. Close to many local tourist sites. Near Pulau Tikus wet market.

Hotel is near by the beach. You don't get beach view rooms though. Pool on the terrace is highlight. Rooms are very big n comfortable. You get to choose the pillow of your choice. Buffet breakfast is also very good.

Nice interiors. Large glass windows. Room is spacious. Service can be better — Sppon waitstaff not attentive during breakfast; I asked for a comb from room service & no one came.

Very professionally run hotel, rooms spacious, clean, nice Executive lounge. Didn’t like the pool being overlooked by the Exec Lounge though so I didn’t use it. Also please stop playing music in the corridors. It can be heard in the rooms and irritating when trying to get to sleep. Other than that, all good. Very convenient to have two shopping centers, one on either side. The spa was really excellent. Roni gives the best massage ever!

Came here to celebrate my cousin's wedding. Accomodation was good, decent gym fittings, the buggy to and from Gurney Plaza/Hotel is useful. Service is excellent with friendly faces. Price is high in comparison to other parts of Malaysia.

I would stay at no other hotel. Cozy rooms and excellent service. They make my stay welcomed everytime. Don't have to worry about shopping cause there are 2 complex just next door. Down the road is one of the best Kopitiams in the world. Don't bother with other hotels stay with G.

Conceirge and bar staff were very helpful and friendly. When we first checked in front reception staff could have been more friendly and helpful.
A little disappoined with standard of room for a five star.
We stayed here especially for the Gravity New Years Eve party and to enjoy the rooftop infinity pool. Very frustrated that we were not told that the whole area would be closed that whole afternoon! We were assured by the assistant manager that we would be contacted. We are still waiting.

Amazing Christmas weekend away, perfect service and beautifully decorated rooms. They take special care to provide a unique experience, worth upgrading to executive rooms for all of the additional benefits. Get a room with a bath tub. The bar and sky terrace is beautiful. You get access to all the facilities at G hotel Gurney, they have a buggy running between the two hotels.

Nice hotel with Spacious room. Good: Rooms are really clean and Spacious Location is towards road. Easy access to mall next door. Gourney mall to eat something. Bad: No beach view.

Very modern and comfortable hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are very spacious with a complimentary mini bar. You're also given ice cream on arrival! Situated in Gurney, which is a short uber ride away from the main attractions. It is, however, located next to two massive malls and a bunch of local food spots.

Very friendly staff. Interior design is top notch. Wish there are more elevators as it can be a bit of a wait. Roof top bar has fantastic view. Gym is open for long hours. Strategically located between two big malls.

Highly recommended, the suite was big enough for a business traveler like me and the bar and pool were really awesome! Also the excutive lounge provides ample magazines and drinks and also snakcs for a stopover recharge during the day.

When checking in staff gave me fresh fruit ice cream. Every staffs are so polite. Top floor sky deck, pool and bar was great. Of course room is so comfortable and modern. Mini bar is all free and everyday refilled. So nice hotel with great hospitality.

The berjaya Kelawai is a great hotel for tourists and business travellers. The thing I noticed about the hotel was the design. I was taken by the wonderful styling. They matched simple pieces with high quality pieces to produce a visually appealing experience. The view from the infinity pool on the top level is also exceptional. It was awesome to take a break from the heat with a refreshing swim. The pool is not heated, which is a relief given the intense heat! The club room facilities are ok. I would say they don't necessarily compete with some of the club offers from larger hotels but they still have a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and light snacks so it wasn't a terrible experience. I would still book an executive room, despite a slight shortcoming in what the club room offers, the view is more than enough to make up for it.

Very nice and new hotel located next to gurney plaza and gurney paragon. Rooms are good sized with excellent amenities. Love the lap pool at the top of hotel!

Simply the best. Sophisticated and modern, nearby all amenities and transport easy. And on top. Excellent service. Friendly staffs and in house food and cafes are excellent. The Executive lounge at the top floor is very convenient with just the swimming pool nearby… Really a one stop all you need venue if teavelling for business or pleasure.

Everything works. Staff are local and capable. Executive rooms are very nice, fittings are well maintained. Exec 24th floor snacks and tea time is practically booze time, unlimited booze with sandwiches and ham. Parking is sufficient, location is not superb but it's on the not so busy side of gurney drive so you can bypass that crazy traffic. We stay here every time we're in Penang.

Brand new baby version of G Hotel Gurney — open since Feb 15. The interior decoration is very modern, good clean rooms and the staff are superb — every one of them. The views from Gravity bar are amazing and the pool area is very striking.

Went here for a conference, was served with a nice buffet lunch. Facilities are in tiptop condition — — except for the Wi-Fi which was not functional when I was there.

Stayed here for a night Presidential Suite. Everything here is seriously good. I Super recommend upgrading your room so that you can have the roof bars and water pool. If Penang, I'll be back here. This bed is extremely good.

One of the newest hotels in town. Clean and nicely situated, right at the shopping and dining area of Gurney Drive. Within walking distance to Gurney plaza and Paragon. Also nearby to the food courts.

This hotel opened in Feb 2015. So luxurious and modern :) staff were super friendly and accommodating. Mum and I enjoyed our stay very much. Loved that you could also use the G hotels facilities and they had a free buggy service between the two hotels.
