Almaty Hotels

We shared at the InterContinental Almaty for 5 nights during our visit to Almaty.
Our rooms were comfortable, and spacious.
The service of all the staff was very nice, and warm.

The rooms are slightly outdated, but they still give a luxurious and comfortable feel. The staff is very friendly, polite, and helpful, which makes a big difference in the overall experience.

The hotel enjoys an exceptional location in the heart of Almaty, putting guests withineasy reach of the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas.

My first visit to Kazakhstan in early October — I chose Mercure for the first three nights for its convenient location and clean, hygienic look.

I stayed at here from feb 14-20, 2026 and it was excellent! it was nearby to a lot of shops and restaurants and even a park. Breakfast has a lot of options and everything was yummy.

Hotel is new and cozy. Free drinking water refill with nice bed equipped. Hotel staff very nice and kind.

The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, but what truly stood out was the front desk team. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Exceptional service from start to finish.

Superb location, excellent service and good breakfast. Modern service apartments — highly recommended esp for long stay with families.

Good hotel in a central neighborhood of Almaty. My room was clean and quiet, with complimentary bottled water and a small hospitality tray with a tea kettle.

Safe, friendly and well located in Almaty. Was there for two nights as a start into my Stan-States trip and was not disappointed.

The Ritz this place is not, so if that’s where your budget and expectations are, it’s not a place you’ll enjoy. Its quaint, old fashion, tucked away, in so many ways, its Kazakhstan.

Great place for staying. Rooms and the washroom were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

Although there have been some negative reviews, this is not the case at all. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

The hotel and location were excellent for its price.
This place was spacious and clean, had strong ac, with windows next to the door. We opt for a room with a sofa bed to have more space.

Amazing hotel at a good location in Almaty! There is a 24/7 supermarket nearby which is convenient. Heating works great during winter. Do note that you are required to climb stairs.

Excellent stay. We enjoyed it so much, we extended. Our home away from home in Kazakhstan. The staff went above and beyond to help us out and give great recommendations.

We held a memorial event in honor of my Mother. I am incredibly grateful for the organization of the event!

I would like to say that we stayed for 2 days then came back and stayed for another two days. We booked three rooms.

Very nice hotel. The rooms were comfortable. Some have a view of the mountains. The staff were super polite and attentive. The hotel itself has plenty of character, an interesting design.

Convenient location. Spacious, convenient for living. The other guests are almost invisible and inaudible. The entrance doors are open 24 hours a day, so you can also admire the city views at night.

We are located in this hotel. This is truly a wonderful place to relax. Quiet and cozy, you don’t even want to leave, everything is like home, thought out to the smallest detail.

A intimate hotel with high-quality finishing. VERY spacious rooms. The room is fully equipped with everything you need. Cleaning every day. Everything is clean and tidy.

The cake was amazing — thank you so much! I was really surprised, and I truly appreciate the Korean card too. It was so thoughtful of you!

Very cozy stay, bit dated but very much function big room size, nice bathroom and just opposite to Opera, take public bus (12) from very close street for Mededu, and Kok tobe, so three great

A comfortable and safe hotel with a good service and great location.

The hotel is good value for money but slight problem with the Wi-Fi as it was a bit slow.
However, I was truly impressed by the staff’s hospitality.

Good Hotel. Breakfast was really good.
. Perfect heating for winter. Good location.

A nice hotel near metro station, very much suitable for family. Breakfast spread is also good.

Everything is fine from the station, two steps away. Nearby are shops and restaurants. To the airport taxi 1200 tenge.

The staff was pleasant, the room was clean, I took a junior suite. The hotel is quiet.

Staff doesn't speak English. You have to download Russian in Google Translate. Lobby located at the back. Room is very clean. Lots of restaurant. Easy to take bus.

Good location. Nearby restaurants and convenient stores. Walking distance to Almaty 2 Train Station. Friendly staff. No lift but its okay. I will come back.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent from start to finish. The staff was very welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with any questions we had.

The rooms are clean and tidy. Unfortunately, there are no breakfasts or food options. Otherwise, everything is fine.

We had a pleasant and memorable stay. Our room had a stunning mountain view.

Comfy room, especially by comparison to der establishments, but nothing to shout about. Location is a winner for me as it is near a metro and not too far to the airport. Superb breakfast.

Our first time in Almaty, and we were lucky to find this hotel. It's brand spanking new, the rooms are large and well-appointed. Cleanliness is top notch.

Nice rooms but getting to the reception is challenge as its at 17th floor and 2 lifts are slow.
Got best terrace view and nice food for breakfast.

Great little hotel, clean rooms and good location.
The view from the bar was amazing.
Breakfast was okay.

Very clean specious apartments with nice view and nice helpful staff and cold air conditions with well equipped kitchen… excellent location near Arabat street, mega mall and cathedral, green market

This was a clean and spacious hotel room. What delighted us the most was that our late checkout at 4pm was accommodated to. Very understanding staff and there was always security around.

Snow-white soft bed linen, towels, robes.
Service.
Good breakfast.
Soundproof, feeling like neighbors are sitting in your room.
The floor was cleaned in the room only after my request, after check-in.

Good hotel, the staff is nice, my forgot my iPad after check out, they keep it well for me.

Quiet area, beautiful cozy house, very hospitable and helpful hosts, delicious breakfast. Everything is great.

I liked the breakfasts, the neighbors, the friendly atmosphere. The beds were comfortable. Overall, I liked everything; I'd stay there again.

A very cosy, modern, well located, and efficient option for a short stay in Almaty. I didn't expect such a high standard for the price.

An absolute gem in Almaty! Highly recommended!
I just checked out yesterday after a wonderful 3-night stay at Urban Yurt, and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Excellent stay with the best local sullort from the caretaker. View is just mesmerising. Top view of Almaty.

Plus:
+The best location in Almaty that you will see a million dollars view from sunset until night. The room can see all view of Almaty and the Tian Shan Mt. Which cover by snow all time!

Lianna is a legend. Amazing place to stay. Very quiet. Super clean. Very well equipped. Lianna is very very helpful and kind and genuinely full of sweet hospitality. The location was fantastic.

We always stay in this hostel, very nice hostess, we feel at home, we recommend it to everyone👍👍👍

The owner is very accommodating and helpful. The location is bit far away from the city center, far from restaurant grocery store.

We loved our stay here. Vlad made us really welcome. Fantastic, filling breakfast. Very comfortable, airy room and spotlessly clean bathroom. Highly recommend.

Adequate and polite staff.
1. Poor shower: difficult to change clothes, almost no hot water. 2. Terribly small rooms — impossible to even unpack a suitcase. 3. No towels or toiletries provided.

I stayed for over a week. They are open 24 hours, the price is reasonable, the bed linen is clean every day, there is constant cleaning, good internet speed, and the staff is responsive.

The staff was accommodating and the rooms were clean and we would have stay here again when we come back.

I arrived in Almaty, searching for a hostel took a little time, I found Nomad, I really liked it, now upon arrival in your city, I know where it’s warm and cozy to spend the night!

Lovely Hostel. Clean Rooms. Privacy guaranteed. Lockers with Code. Metro, Bus Stands and Supermarkets are close to hostel.

A very warm welcome from the moment we arrived, with great flexibility to adapt our schedules.

Excellent manager, huge kitchen, lots of washing machines, spacious and everything you need.
No.

I really liked my stay in this hostel. Quiet and friendly enviroment. Staff very kind and helpful. Only negative point the position.
