Stayed here late August 2025.
Clean and comfortable rooms, good security. Very good price. Reception staff very professional, friendly and helpful. Good location with close access to supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. Great breakfast and coffee in cafe adjacent. Highly recommend.

I love this hotel. Host is kind, and room is clean amd cozy. It was better than I expectd in all aspect! Try drinkimg coffee in the balcony.

Good location right in the city centre. The shower was nice, and the staff were kind and helpful. Just a heads-up: it’s on the third floor with no lift—but totally manageable if you don’t mind the stairs. Overall, a nice and convenient place to stay!

This is one of the kindest and most welcoming accommodations I’ve ever experienced — something I haven’t encountered in any other country.
Thanks to her, I’m leaving Almaty with wonderful memories.
If I ever come back to Almaty, I’ll definitely stay here again.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff.
I stayed here for 4–5 days and had a really good experience. The location is convenient, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better.
The rooms are clean and well-kept, though they are a bit small, also they don't have an elevator or lift, also you can hear vehicles passing by from the bedroom, but since it's not a busy road, it wasn’t a big issue for us.
They also have a hall where you can sit and chat, which is a nice space to relax with family or friends.
Overall, a pleasant stay—I’d definitely consider coming back!

The hotel is good location and good service. There are many restaurants near the hotel. And close to supermarket.

They were the best. The staff let us to keep our luggage for free. We even not staying in D'rami. Btw, their hotel so cute and smells good. The staff so welcoming. Thankyou so much. We really owe you.

The hotel is located in an excellent location, in an old house on the 3rd floor. There is a grocery store and many cafes nearby. I was very pleased that there is a free transfer from the airport to the hotel, thanks to Rustam for meeting us at 2 am. The reception staff were very polite, they treated my daughter to a cookie and gave me free coffee. They told us where to go. The room is clean, spacious, warm. There are all the necessary accessories. On the third day of stay they offered cleaning. There is a lounge with good internet, where I connected to online conferences.
D'rami will now be our permanent place of residence when visiting Almaty!

For the price? Couldnt ask for more, cozy, clean and lovely place, approachable from the city, love the staff, igor and Liza are really helpful for my short backpacking trip advice and suggestion, recommended.

The location and the price were nice. The lady working the front desk always greeted me and seemed helpful. It was also nice to have the 24hr staff. While I'm not sure what sort of outcome I would expect, the situation at check-in really sucked. I've been traveling for awhile and have a large suitcase. The young guy at the front desk offered to help carry it up the stairs. I insisted on doing it myself but he insisted on helping even more. I warned him it's extremely heavy and "weighs more than him". He lifted it by the too handle only (not combining it with the side handle for ease) and said how light it was for him. We were almost to the top and my handle gave out. The suitcase was broken, a suitcase I bought less than 2 weeks prior. He apologized but then it was never brought up again. I realize it was an accident but still.

Fantastic location, cozy rooms and clean. Staff spoke great English and were very helpful — they arranged a free 5am airport pickup, and a taxi to Kolsai lakes for us. Would definitely recommend :)

The D'Rami Hotel canceled reservations on March 6 after failing to process payment twice. I booked a hotel through Booking from March 13 to 14, and after booking, the hotel could not withdraw payment from the card because I did not have enough funds. I topped up the card and called the hotel and they charged 25, 000 tenge from the card. The next day, the hotel tried to withdraw the payment again, and after it couldn’t, for some reason they told me in my booking that the cards were not valid. I called them on March 5 and 6, asking them to remove this entry, since they tried to withdraw payment 2 times. After talking with me, they returned the payment and canceled the reservation themselves without my consent, apparently fearing a bad review. This was all very strange and did not look like good service. We have stayed at this hotel several times before and everything seemed to be fine.

Two singles pushed together does not make a double. The hotel is on the 4th floor without a lift. It is not really suitable for disabled access or the elderly. There does not appear to be any kind of breakfast/dining area. There are plenty of good cafes nearby but they do not open until at least 09:00 at this time of the year. Both receptionists were extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms were entirely clean with a pleasant decor. The main strength of the hotel is its location. Despite the list of negatives above, it was a pleasant stay.

Pleasant and cozy hotel, as are the staff. Clean rooms, fresh linen and towels. I recommend it, great location. Just a small request, you need to be careful in front of the reception, the threshold is difficult to notice. It would be nice if there was some kind of sign that there is a step there, it’s hard to notice from the entrance.

The reception speaks English well and is helpful. The hotel is unmarked on the main street and the entrance is behind. However, it is fine. You will have to climb a few floors with your luggage. The room is good, the bathroom and shower are good, the air con works well. The Wi-Fi generally works well. They do have a cooler with hot and cold water as well in the reception area.
TV has no channels in English and they should put screens on the windows. Otherwise, a good stay.
