It was a beautiful historical building with nice interior designs. There are 4 wonderful onsens which we enjoyed a lot. The room is spacious, clean and beds were comfy.

Takamiya Ryokan Miyamaso is a truly exceptional retreat.

Spacious Japanese style room with a great view.
Friendly staff and service. Some staff speak English and some doesn't.
Flexible check in time and process.

Self Checkin and Overall Service. The shared bath was small but okay for a small group of 8 to 10 people max.
The cold water didnt work and some areas like the shower and bathrooms weren't that clean.

Kutsurogijuku Shintaki in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima embodies authentic rustic charm.
I stayed here for three nights and didn’t get any meals, which I didn’t regret.

This hotel is nice, for the amount it charges. I cant understand why there are haters reviews. Order wrong room yet blame the hotel. Duh… ownself duh ownself. The location is convenient.

Hotel has all the amenities required, rooms of standard size, location perfect just outside the station.

The ANA Holiday Inn Sendai, located on the 12th floor, offered a broad and bright view. The room featured two large windows, providing an unobstructed view of the scenery.

First of all, the service was great. The front desk staff were very helpful and easy to communicate with all during our 7 night stay.

I had a very comfortable stay in the dorm room at Umebachi. The bed and duvet were high quality, and I loved the little spaces on second floor for working.

Umebachi is a lovely guesthouse, very friendly staff, a great place to come “home” to. I stopped here for a day of rest and sightseeing in Sendai on a long distance cycling trip.

Really excellent hostel experience, super comfortable, great coworking space, and quite a lot of personal space and privacy.

Superb! The parent company is super interesting and they've created a really nice hostel. The rooms are good, the beds are comfy.

It is a big ryokan with many rooms, but still maintain the high level of attention to details and thoughtful services.

I visited here for a day trip. There are four private bath rooms, which require additional fee. The facility is clean and the staff is very nice.

· PRICE: Given that the price included a buffet breakfast, I would definitely say that it is one of the best hotel rates I've found.

Stayed in HOTEL ROUTE-INN TENDO for one week during a business trip to 3M Yamagata office. Overall good location for travel to office since easier to find cab.

Tiny midgets will love the beds.
They will also like the mini bath and restroom.
Coffee are served in half cups too.
Hilariously hard 3/4 sized pillows.
Coffee is free also.

Great location for anyone need to stay at Yamagata, very close to the station and a 24hr Aeon right opposite to the hotel is a great plus.

Surprisingly good 3 star business hotel. Very simple but well-prepared, like it's set breakfast, simple but good.

My stay here was relaxing. It was nice to visit an onsen and not have to worry about tattoos or being a foreigner. The amenities were clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It is a nice, clean place relatively far from the city but close to the bus stop. The price was very reasonable at around 3500 yen per night for a bunk bed.

A long-established inn located on the top of Hayama Onsen, which has many slopes.
The rice was voluminous overall.
The public bath is located in a remote location for some reason.

Beautiful traditional Ryokan, lots of charm and amazing hospitality.
There is parking at the Ryokan, and you leave your keys with the hotel. No shoes allowed in the hotel.
