We had a lovely stay at Hagurokan. Kind hosts like excellent hospitality — we felt very welcomed and cared for. The room was beautiful, and the traditional meals were so good and filling.
I enjoyed my stay here very much while visiting Mt Haguro for shoreisai festival on New Year’s Eve. The ryokan is clean and well maintained.

First time in Sendai, easy access by car and located in a beautiful out-squirt area close to an outlet and mall.
Every guest was treated like a VIP.
The hotel is very near to the outlet mall. The mall has many shops and drugstore and almost every things you need. The breakfast is great 👍 with many varieties. I loved the croissants. Really yummy.

Wholesome and relaxing stay. The highlight was the Kaiseki dinner; we had 3 different menus for the 3 nights we stayed and they were absolutely delicious.

A little walk from the bus stop but we didn’t mind it. It was nice to see some of the snow views. Lovely clean Onsen. Outdoor Onsen was great and intimate. Dinner buffet was really delicious.

Stayed 1 night and managed to enjoy all 4 onsen pools as the pools were swapped in the morning. There are 2 pools per session, on both 2nd and 3rd floors.
This was one of the larger onsen hotels we’ve stayed at, and it didn’t disappoint. Our room was spacious with beautiful mountain and lake views, and the entire property was spotless.
