​Ideal Location: Just steps from Zenkoji Temple. Perfect for Hatsumode, especially since the hotel remains open through midnight.

As other posts have said older styled hotel and rooms.
Service was fantastic and the hotel had the best bathroom of our trip. Breakfast was a good mix of Japanese and Western foods.

Booked through Klook and found this place through TT! They only had a duble loft bed for us but honestly it was nice to have my own space after the long walking days 🤣 the check in & out process was

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo. The location, rooms, comfort, and especially the staff are all exceptional.

The room is clean and comfortable, and the staff are kind, helpful and careful. Check-in makes people feel very relaxed. It will be a return visit to the hotel.

Having a free buffet-style breakfast is great. You can always come back as long as you want it until 9:00 in the morning.

Rooms and service just fine for the price. Recommend early reservation here for a quick layover in Tokyo near the airport.

I find the staffs to be very friendly, they were helpful when I was checking in and tried to change coins for laundry. Room was small but typical.

This hotel is a part of a large chain of hotels in Tokyo. The location of this hotel is walking distance to the subway, ueno shopping street and of course to Akihabara as well.

Very clean. Front desk staff are lovely and helpful. Great location, many shops, restaurants etc. Close to the beautiful Ueno park and zoo. Rooms are tiny! Like so, so small.

The perfect hotel for staying in Tokyo!
The rooms are very comfortable, clean and have modern interior. Snacks, tea and amenities are provided in the lobby as well.

I stayed in Twin room 1009. Quiet corner and top floor. Room is sufficient for opening 2 luggages but must close up to allow walking passage. Pajamas are comfortable.

What an absolutely perfect start to my Japan trip! From the moment I arrived at this hotel I knew my stay in Tokyo was going to be amazing.

Good location—close to the station with a direct train to Haneda Airport, and plenty of restaurants nearby.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for the room size. Our room could easily accommodate four pieces of luggage.

Amazing apartment right above Tokyo station. Spacious, packed with everything you need, and just a nice place to relax. Room service every day was very attentive and always perfect for our return.

This hotel is located right next to Tokyo Station, which makes it extremely convenient.

This is an incredible location for access to Tokyo Station, the Palace, and Ginza. The rooms are superb and the view helps inspire and relax.

It's our second time staying at Hotel Coco Grand Kitasenju and it's always the best accommodation we've had in Tokyo. Rooms are larger than normal hotels in Japan, very clean, very organized.

APA Higashi Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower.
It was a great stay here. The rooms are very cozy and have all the amenities, from a room heater to everything else.

An absolute joy to stay here. The rooms were spacious, the beds were ergonomic and could be adjusted to your comfort. The bathrooms were very clean and had all amenities that you would need.

I recently stayed at the Rihga Royal Hotel Tokyo for 3 nights in room 810.

We stayed at a hotel Courtyard in Nagano that was very conveniently located near the train station. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel is easily accessible from Nagano Station. Perfect location if you will use the Shinkansen very frequently. The room has all the basic necessities by Japanese standards.

Convenient location as it’s across Nagano station. There’s a 7-11 next to the hotel. Also, there are 2 small malls — C one and Tokyu next to the hotel.

Dormy Inn Nagano was a wonderful place to stay during our trip to Nagano in February. The hotel is clean, easy to navigate, and had large spacious rooms compared to Tokyo.

This is a incredible hotel with a solid breakfast. They have an interesting bath setup with two baths (warm and cold) as well as a sauna. The rooms were really nice to with great beds and cushions.

What a great room and we slept so well, the hotel temperature is well controlled and never felt cold, I do not even need to turn on heating in my room. Pillows are comfortable.

This is my second stay at this hotel. I like the quiet neighbourhood and the presence of a couple of nice izakaya nearby.

The location is good to go around tokyo, and for a single person a single room is okay.
