I it’s located near Roppongi station and easy access from HND airport. In this time I had booked through a dynamic package on ANA instead of IHG. But they recognized me as a IHG elite member and served the best services. As I was busy, I used the in room dining. awesome!

I would like to share the worst experience I’ve ever encountered in my life. Not only worst experience but also I felt discriminated and humiliated from one of your so called Manager or General manager of ANA Intercontinental Tokyo. I visited your roof top bar 36floor on 04 febuary 2020 waiting for my friend there. When I start to order drink, there are one of appeared-to-be-a-manager aggressively approached me and ordered me not to talk to anyone up there. I was humiliated in front of many other people who were around there that night, everyone was looking at me like I was criminal and I felt so angry and disrespectful. If ANA Intercontinental Tokyo would like to only serve western people, just let the world know so I would rather not waste my time here. I demand for an official apology from hotel management.

Awesome hotel, convenient location. Nice room with many amenities, has all the facilities pool gym etc. Nice bar and restaurant in the hotel. The executive lounge is super nice perfect place to chill and a few sun downers. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a few local Japanese restaurant in walking distance. Rappongi is about a 15 min walk where you can find all night life and restaurants bars.

Specifically this hotel gets 4 stars, but I absolutely hate paying the 21% taxes/fees. The quality of service is always top notch and on time. From the buffet, champagne social and mixx bar to the lobby to the rooms everything has always been fantastic.

A total Nightmare! Avoid the Hotel during peak season, the service was so bad and rude I will never stay again here, the rooms are very small and outdated, The Morning Buffet its OK but service is terrible, no coffee or Tea Served even I requested Twice as you can't do by yourself In the Lobby There are more Security Personal than staff helping you out like giving you directions to the gym that is in other tower so you just get to The 1st floor walk and change to other elevator, so OK the problem is the return to your room you go all sweaty, saying sorry in the elevator because everyone goes to the lobby, you get to the lobby, change elevator and apologizing again, to avoid this the next day you bring your clothes in a backpack to have shower in the gym and change there, so you go on your sport outfit just to realize later someone from security send the police to check you out in they gym, that was so low. There are 3 good things of the hotel, the Check in/out Process in the morning, very polite you realized you are still in japan, the room cleanness is outstanding and the bakery in the Check in floor, probably is a trick after bad stay you can buy sweet delicious bread from Good clerks and enjoy it on the way to the airport. If you are desperate for good location and there is no other option you can stay in this hotel otherwise avoid it at any cost. PS somehow the Lunch Buffet is popular among local Salary-man so think about it as you need to make line for a long time.

Nice hotel in the style of the years 80, large lobby with piano-saxophone atmosphere in the afternoon, welcomed in French or English by a very helpful staff. The room is a bit small, the bathroom very small.
The morning buffet is on the other hand a great experience: multiple fresh juices, a smoothie of the moment, gluten-free milk and soy milk; Dim sum, miso soups and Udon in broth; of the classic English breakfast and some of the correct pastries.

The Intercontinental Tokyo is a gorgeous hotel! The lady who checked us in noticed it was my birthday and sent up a special treat for us! Everyone was very nice. The breakfast buffet is vast and delicious. I highly recommend staying here.

This is the best personal hotel I've ever seen with an excellent buffet. Not only the view of the hotel rooms are awesome, but also there are several recreation in different floors. The hotel is actually outside a metro station, which is pretty convenient to get to. 100 percent recommended!

This posh Tokyo hotel has an immense number of offerings. From the front door to your room door you will find nothing but the nicest furnishings. The restaurants in the hotel include Michelin started restaurants and cuisine from across the world. The room itself features great views of Tokyo. The beds were comfortable with a variety of pillows available. The hotel staff were very helpful throughout the entire stay.

Nice hotel in general. Expected more from the room, is a bit small and bathroom is tiny and old. It needs to be renovated! Nice toiletries. We asked later dinner, the food was good, and it cames at a wheels table, but the table towel was dirty and had several holes!? Really, 5 star hotel? Breakfast was pretty good. I enjoy it pretty much. Employees were nice.

Excellent Cuisine, impeccable service and an incredible view (on Mount Fuji).

My international travel is rather limited, as is my exposure to high-end hotels, but my stay at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo was as grand as one could expect. Service was, of course, top notch, with all effort being made to help me with everything I needed. The building itself is extremely well situated for both casual and business purposes, with most amenities very close by. The building was well kept and maintained, well lit, and its acoustics were fantastic; although it frequently got very busy, I was never overwhelmed by the amount of noise. My room was well organized and well-appointed, if slightly cramped, and everything was clean and maintained well. Travelers used to US may find the firmness of the mattress and pillows to be a little off-putting, but I appreciated the difference the, which was more to my preferences. I found the lack of a fan in the bathroom to be slightly annoying, as it led to my window fogging over, unfortunately spoiling my view. I found the shower quite excellent, and the supplied toiletries were in abundance and top-notch. In some, my stay in Tokyo was greatly enhanced by the choice of the ANA InterContinental.

The lobby was nice, but that's about it The room was tiny. The bathroom was really basic and barely big enough to hold the tub, toilet and sink. At least it was reasonably clean. I didn't get my room upgrade and the staff didn't even acknowledge my elite status. There's nowhere else in the world that could get away with calling this hotel an Intercontinental.

Great hotel in a very good location the rooms are spacious and offer everything needed.
The staff is very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended is the as well as on the 35rd floor with a great breakfast and a la carte, great international snacks in the evening and a la carte, free drinks and magnificent views. We would particularly like to highlight the concierge and their staff on the as well as for their help and friendliness.
The subway station is just a few metres away. From there, Ginza line 320m, Namboku line 410m, Chiyoda line 605m, Marunouchi line 935m to reach.

What else can I say! This hotel was great. Attentive staff, convenient to a metro station and a 15-minute walk to Rappongi Hills.

Above average luxury hotel in downtown Tokyo. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby and restaurants are clean, well-maintained, and quite luxurious. There is a shopping area with a small variety of stores off the lobby. The rooms are clean and well-stocked if not overly large. Internet works well, there is plenty of hot water, and the heating and air conditioning seem to be about standard for Japan (which means it is very hard to get the room cool in the summer or winter). The outstanding room service was prompt, with all the extras I requested, and delivered by the most courteous, friendly, helpful, and professional staff person I have encountered in a long time. The quality and amount of food met my expectations.

Once a favorite, this hotel has disappointed in the last few stays. Service is good but mostly because in Japan, service is usually good. This is more a review on the Intercontinental brand and their loyalty program. Once upon a time, platinum status meant something. The last two trips, I've been put in the older rooms with two single beds, and no offers to upgrade to a newer room. Bathroom was clean but had a smell that felt like a bathroom that has been around for 20 years. These rooms feel dated and need renovation. This is why I am must more loyal to Hilton and Marriott brands. Anyways, it's 3 stars at best.

Small but well equipped gym. Pool closed in winter. Club level rooms are good and spacious. Great staff. Not an interesting neighborhood. Walking distance to Roppongi. Fabulous mattress.

The hotel is incredible. Very well kept. Inside there was live music playing subtly in the lobby (harp, muted trumpet, piano). The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly. The Cascade Cafe dinner buffet selection was incredible with great taste and much to choose from.

Very nice hotel in an upscale area full of embassies. Great location in proximity of several metro lines allows for easy commute as well makes it a great base for sightseeing. Tsukiji fish market is within 35-40 minutes walk, so can be reached easily also in the nighttime when the metro is shut down.

I guess it's nice, but only for Japan. If you're used to staying at InterContinental Hotels, It definitely leaves a lot to be desired, especially considering the price tag. I've stayed in comparable rooms in Tokyo for 1/3 the price.
The lobby is nice enough, but the guest rooms are tiny and the bathroom is, to put it delicately, economical. With the way everything is crammed in, there's barely enough space for an adult to towel off.
The rooms are clean and the staff were attentive, but in any other country, this would be a Holiday Inn Express at best. Definitely not worthy of the flagship name in my opinion. I stayed at the InterContinental in Hong Kong earlier this year and there is absolutely no comparison.

Excellent service. The Intercontinental Club on the 35th floor offers a breathtaking view of the city and it is possible to go and relax and eat and drink at any time of the day. The rooms are rather small but the beds very comfortable.

The ambiance is grand. The location is convenient. The myriad restaurants, bars and shops on site are terrific. However, if you are sensitive to scents, be advised all public areas are constantly filled with a fragrance. It can be distracting during meals and those with sensitivity may have adverse reactions. Additionally, despite the verbiage on the website, the staff will REFUSE you entrance to the spa or pool if you have any tattoos. The "Intercontinental" nomenclature ends where the Japanese taboo against body art begins. While some western staff members encourage just trying to avoid revealing your tattoos, be aware that the Japanese staff have no desire to accept or even tolerate other cultures when it comes to tattoos and don't really have any interest in accommodating you. If your tattoo is small enough to be covered with a plaster, great. If it is in a location or of a size where doing so becomes prohibitive, don't assume you will be afforded the freedom to partake in public bathing. The bigotry against body art is deeper than your pockets.

Very nice atmosphere! Drinks and cocktails really great and a great Selection. The high price dampens the overall impression somewhat.

Friendly staff. Location is relatively convenient. Bus shuttle and helicopter accessible from the airport. Rooms are clean and quiet with views on the higher levels.

Stayed twice. First time I was novice guest and somehow welcomed to a nice big twin room with two double beds and a big modern bathroom. Second time, stayed as a Ihg spire elite member and small two single bed, outdated small bathroom with odd features for exact the same price as first time. For a solo business traveler, two single beds never make sense. Doesnt meet the international brand's quality standard. Mind long queue with lots of tourists for breakfast. Who wants to share foot massager with others?

Respect to restaurant : pierre gagnaire Dinner recommended for formal setting, set course and pairing. Business and/or as couple or with visiting friends Quiet ambiance and with setup to enjoy the food. Excellent service, as one would expect, and menu choice. Depending on menu for that week. Note that I preferred the restaurants location before moving into the hotel (already years ago! )

Nice hotel with good location. The hotel is a bit aged but still have its elegant environment. Exit 13 of Tameike Sanno station. It's very convenient to take subway Ginza line to Ginza and Shinuya. Breakfast is ok and average. Have shuttle bus to Narita airport. Nice stay in city.

The location is pretty good, I can walk or take public transportation to anything I wanted to do. The rooms look a bit like they're stuck in the 70's but they're very nice. Bidet for a toilet, lots of free amenities (dental kit, hair brush, shaving kit, sewing kit, etc. ), Comfortable beds, Japanese TV, free water, nice selection for the mini bar (although it's way overpriced of course). Most of the rooms are pretty small, but they're efficient and I was never hurting for space.

Rooms were nothing great. Lobby was nice — but who wants to spend their whole time there? The breakfast buffet was very good, among some of the best I have had around the world.

Upgraded to a very nice view for being a Spire member and late check out. No other status recognition.

The Classic rooms on the lower floors should not be considered 5-star accommodations — — more like 3-star. Those rooms are bookable through major travel websites and therefore get much more traffic than their Premium rooms, which must be booked through the Intercontinental website. That said, even the Premium rooms are just about 4-star. Hotel was probably a gem of the Tokyo business traveller at one time, but is now starting to show its age and a refresh of the property is due. Service team is about 4-star, unless you encounter an issue, in which case they do try their best to make things right. The breakfast buffet is a good deal and very convenient if you prefer get a meal in before heading off to work or your next grand adventure.

The place was easy ayar and close to all the important places.

The pool is closed most of the year. I'm here in mid April when the weather is definitely warm enough, but the pool has been drained until the "summer" season. I am in a smoking room, even though I don't smoke, and I've worked out that the air conditioning unit pumps other people's smoke in to the room! Turning off the AC helps, but then it gets slightly warm. The public areas of the hotel are very nice. I have a colleague at the Ritz Carlton, which I hear is much nicer!

Great location that's close to the subway. Staff was great, food at breakfast and during room service was delicious, rooms were comfortable and large.

Very nice place, except some floors have a pervasive smoky smell. Would be 5 stars if they would just do something about the smokiness. Great in all other aspects, including access to the subway. Concierge is helpful and responsive.

Unbelievably over priced. Check in takes 10 min. No one smiling. The concierge manager is seriously rude. The management doesn't seems to care of service but just occupancy and revenue. It will be a nice hotel if they ever consider what is hospitality. Too sad.

The hotel is near Tameikeyamao station. It is general good. But I still feel not very comfortable about the entrance. Too business style.

I made a stay from 26th jan 2015 to 31st jan 2015. It was a wonderful experience. A great hotel with kind staff. They are very obedient, friendly. The maintenance is highly good. Breakfast is very good. Spacious rooms good lighting, clean mirrors. I find everything quite good. I love my stay in Tokyo.

Awesome hotel with superb service. They take your bags immediately while you're checking in. One person escorted us and moved the luggage into our room. The staff is very friendly and easy to speak with. They know a lot of English. The room was very spacious. The bathroom did not have as much space as a different IHG hotel or compared to a Hilton hotel. The rooms are not very modern leading me to believe that this is a fairly older hotel. It's "been around". The liquid soaps smelled great! Very aromatic. One disappointing thing was the the toilet seat was not heated. I'm assuming this feature is not part of the toilet because I could not find a place to turn on/off the heated seat. The place was very clean and not the slightest smell of smoke. The slippers were decent. Did not have as much cushion in them as I would have liked. The beds were firm (which I like) and the pillows were well cushioned and thick. Had excellent sleep. No noise pollution. Could not hear anything from the hallways, adjacent rooms, or from the streets. The room was well insulated and the heater worked well. The room was clean and did not get any bug bites from sleeping here. There were more than enough plugs for our 8 devices. There's Wi-Fi in the room, not exactly free but with status it is. It's just the hotel room number and person's last name. Their concierge service was amazing. They were very friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions.

From here it is fast walking in the bar district and the Tokyo Tower.

Quite a good hotel, very clean and well kept, and very easy to get to from Narita since the bus goes directly there. The restaurants there are also good but a bit on the expensive side. The only downside is the location which is not really in Roppongi, and not really in Akasaka either. It is surrounded by plenty of shops, however if you don't mind walking — — and you're in Toyko so you should walk and take it in. If you want to walk to Roppongi be prepared for a long trudge up a hill. Good excercise.

Excellent high-end hotel in the heart of Tokyo. Very clean facility, great workout room, excellent buffet breakfast and friendly service. Close waling distance to Roppongi and Akasaka.

Super friendly staff (a female front desk manager helped me sort out airport limousine bus ticket, checkout, luggages etc in LESS THAN FIVE minutes and carried my luggages downstairs to the bus all by herself) and she's not the only one in this hotel that has this excellent service attitude, Stayed here twice, highly recommended even if you're not visiting this part of Tokyo, as there're three metro lines converging in front of the hotel and Roppingi is 15 min stroll away.

ANA Intercontinental Hotel was really fine hotel. Their service was excellent. I had stayed in the hotel from 16th September to 19th September, 2013. I enjoyed in staying in the hotel. The concierge staff who were on duty on the above days were very helpful. I would like thank the Hotel management and the staff for making my stay a warm feeling. The food was excellent. I really appreciate their free internet service. Thank you.
