Very spacious three-bedroom apartment conveniently located next to Matsuyama city station and a host of shops, cafés, and bars.

Convenient and nice. We stayed at the 2 ldk (though 3ldk was advertised) I don't really see that as an issue though. Amenities were clean and had some drinks for us. Though no pajamas.

I searched for glamping, but since it was cold, I ended up staying at GLAMPROOK Shimanami, which also has a hotel building.

This is the heart of the city.
It stands out and is the first thing you see of Imabari coming from the Shiminami Kaido.

We stayed here as part of a tour group for one night.
The room was a nice size for Japan, the shower was excellent.
The WiFI was reliable. The hotel has a nice bar on a higher floor.

Let me tell you a story…
Me and my sister had reserved a hotel on the bunny island nearby, only to be turned away at the port after a 35 mile bike ride due to bad weather.

Our stay in Wakka was one of the best highlights of our Japan trip. We decided to split cycling the Shimanami Kaido into 2 days and we’re glad that we booked this place to stay.

Stayed 2N. The property is locate next to the Dogo Onsen (Japan's oldest onsen) which is undergoing renovations. The hotel is equally old and is designed in a very elegant way.

First 5 star of our tour. We arrived to be told that we had been given a complimentary upgrade to a better room. Wow, what an upgrade. We were given the biggest room on the floor.

There are many restaurants within a short walk. It's a multi-storey parking lot, but you can get in and out freely. It was 800 yen a day.
During peak hours, it may take a while for a car to come out.

Is it a late model as a route in?
It's a little off the main road, the downtown area of ​​Matsuyama City, but I wonder if it's that much quieter?

Location is good, just five minutes walk from station, Daiso is nearby! Staff are friendly.

It was nice. Close to the station and Warei Shrine. The room was small, but good enough for 1 person.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The room was comfortable and had perfect Air Conditioning. However, the most amazing aspect of this hotel was the customer service I received!

Had a night stay at Dear U guesthouse. The host speaks very good English and there is no problem finding this place.

This review is after my second time staying, I took the ferry to Hiroshima for the weekend. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

Definitely book here if you’re in Matsuyama and want a gorgeous little hostel. The owner is a great guy and the building itself is so beautiful. Location is perfect right next to Dogo Onsen itself.

It is very close to Matsuyama station but there are not convinience stores nearby. The building seems a bit old though, the rooms are OK. Breakfast was OK.

It's right next to the station and considering the cheap price it was great for my needs. There is an onsen on the back which is fairly priced and offers great massages!

We stayed at Hotel Sanbancho for 2 nights after completing the Shimanami Kaido to rest and visit Matsuyama. It is a large and luxurious hotel with onsen baths, but has rooms at affordable prices.

They have pick up and off service from/to Niugawa station even though the time is limited.
