Lovely family run hotel in the wonderful Hakuba.

I highly recommend Yamano Hotel. It has everything you need including a restaurant, sauna, onsen, spacious rooms, bar.

The staff was wonderful. As a platinum member, I got a free upgrade.
Great location. 10 minute walk to the main station. 5-10 minute walk to nearby restaurants.

Great service from check in to check out. Our room was clean, comfy and the AC worked! I run hot and need it cold and was glad to be able to put a nice chill in the room.

Stay here! So clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious and well insulated. Great views and big windows. Beds are a little soft for me but super comfy still. We’re all happy here!

This is the best resort in the area. The service is excellent, and the amenities are incredible. You don't need to leave the hotel because it has everything you need.

The room is fantastic and spacious. My kids love the tatami while me and wife enjoy the bed. We love the white beauty of our window view.

I stayed there for two nights on business. The breakfast offered a wide variety of food, ranging from Japanese to Western dishes. I was particularly impressed by the umeboshi—it was large and fruity.

As a non Japanese speaker, it was extremely hard to find in my car, a taxi or on foot would be no problem but there is no signage in English with the exception of a small sign at the entrance to a

We loved the fantastic free breakfast that features local items, traditional Japanese breakfast foods and western ones as well. Yum!

We stayed for 3 nights to explore Matsumoto and the nearby mountains and found this hotel to be a very convenient and friendly home base.

We loved our stay at Koharu. It is conveniently located at the bottom of the Sakka ski lifts, with plenty of shuttles available to take you to the other lifts and mountains.

Could not rate this accomodation higher. We had a fantastic stay at Koharu resort hotel and suites.

Great Breakfast! About 7 minute walk (With ski equipment) to the chairlift. Rooms were nice. Good Stay.

This place was great! The staff were exceptional and very friendly and fun. Rooms were great with everything you needed, and quite big with a separatetatami room, and the beds were comfy.

Really great hotel in the mountains. We stayed in a cabin that's about a 5-minute walk from the main lobby. The cabin is incredibly spacious and has a great kitchen.

Stayed at Karuizawa Marriott Hotel and overall, it was a solid and relaxing stay.

Great luxurious hotel.
This hotel is a gem. Not very big but inviting. The room is great, with a nice tatami room in addition to the usual room for beds.
The lounge is inviting.

I booked this hotel during a very busy Japanese holiday weekend, and I’m really glad I did. Considering it was peak season, the price felt very reasonable and definitely money well spent.

Booked through Booking. Com at a great rate during the tail end of Obon season. The hotel is very conveniently located right by the train station, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

A beautiful location with ski in and out, which I absolutely enjoyed. Ski rentals, lots of restaurants, and ski tickets are all there.

I highly recommend this hotel for skiing beginners.
It's a big hotel with all the facilities you'd need to ski.
