Staff are just superb, friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was impressive in variety and offering.

We spent two nights to see the town and castle. 10-15 minute walk to castle. Local shrine had a festival going, really made the trip. Room was small and clean, but the top floor Onsen was the winner!

A beautiful hotel in the onsen area of Matsumoto. Friendly accommodating staff, helpful with any requests. The rooms are beautiful tatami rooms with views out over Matsumoto and the mountains.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Everything about the room was very comfortable and we highly recommend staying here when visiting Matsumoto.

We stayed in the Standard Double Room, Non Smoking (No Extra Bed, 18 sqm). The room was clean, practical, and slightly more spacious than typical business hotels.

Would recommend! Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms and we loved the free ramen or ice cream in the night.

Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay, with a few things to keep in mind.

We stayed for 3 nights to explore Matsumoto and the nearby mountains and found this hotel to be a very convenient and friendly home base.

Stayed here in November for two nights and enjoyed our stay. Iti is a proper old fashioned hotel but done well. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

A lovely ryokan where you can enjoy your time in Matsumoto. Food was good, onsens where nice (we only used privat baths). All the staff where friendly and make uss feel welcoming.

We stayed only one night year ago. I give the rerview on agoda. Com, but I forgot to write here. Excellent and lovely stuff, nice clean room. We fall down to sleep after all day arround.

It's a older hotel, not as modern as the chain branches, but I found the service staff really hospitable, helpful, and friendly.

This hotel is with perfect location just besides train station.

We had a truly wonderful experience staying in this Ryokan. The highlight of course was the onsen. It is rare to find such healing waters that have no chemicals added to them.

Although the building is aging, and undergoing some renovation when we visited in October 2025, it is still a pleasure to stay here. We came for the bath, and were not disappointed.

Near the station. The room was nice, the beds were much larger than the ones we previously stayed. They also assigned a pretty good location for us; great view.

My wife and I have had a 1-night stay at The Celecton Hotel Matsumoto Room from 19 to 20 October 2025.
The Hotel is located near the Matsumoto City Centre and just a 5-minute drive walk away.

For what it is (basic business hotel), it's fine. I think it was good value.

Excellently located for both the station & castle. Rooms were large, and well equipped. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellent for the price included in the stay.

Great hotel to stay in Matsumoto. We have stayed 3 nights here. The room is spacious (by Japanese standard) and reasonably priced.

The room was good and we had breakfast included. The breakfast was a set meal, either Japanese or western style. I really appreciated that they let us check in early as it was a very rainy day.

This ryokan is truly a dream. We upgraded to the suite and it was phenomenal! It was a wonderful experience including the private breakfast that we had. This will leave a lasting imprint on our trip.

This is a very convenient hotel across from the Matsumoto station. The staff were really friendly and helpful. One can walk to all attractions with ease from this hotel. The amenities were good.

We stayed for 3 nights at the accomodation. Jon, Hidemi and the rest of the staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming to all guests. The hotel is clean and filled with amenities.

This place was lovely! Mr jon and his team all so nice, even gave us a souvenir on our way out. The ski slopes are close by. The breakfast was yummy and the room was spacious.
