Koshinetsu Hotels

We stayed for 3 nights at the accomodation. Jon, Hidemi and the rest of the staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming to all guests. The hotel is clean and filled with amenities.

This place was lovely! Mr jon and his team all so nice, even gave us a souvenir on our way out. The ski slopes are close by. The breakfast was yummy and the room was spacious.

I highly recommend Yamano Hotel. It has everything you need including a restaurant, sauna, onsen, spacious rooms, bar.

Hotel Yamano is 10/10!
Excellent, welcoming staff and the management go above and beyond to make your time here enjoyable.

There would need to be an extract star for the service!
The man at reception was incredibly kind! The hotel has some beautiful views and the atmosphere was top!

I am a Korean male student who worked part-time in the winter of 2008.
It's already been 17 years. I became a father with one son.
I really want to go there someday with my wife and son.

Really amazing and best hotel i’ve ever stay on Japan.
Thank to all staff that super helpful and friendly.

Truly one of our favorite hotels we've ever stayed at. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and helpful.

Fabulous little hotel … you can walk to one of the ski lifts, free drinks from 2.30 till 5.30 each day in the lounge by the fire … free shuttle service to anywhere you want to go and will pick you up

Small hideaway with perfect service. Happy hour in the lobby with live music and free wine & tea. Nice spacious rooms. Bery good restaurant. Take the tasting menu.

We had such a wonderful stay at Courtyard Hakuba and would definitely return on our next trip to Hakuba.

Easy connection via bus to various slopes and villages, including night bus (though buses not super frequent throughout the day). Staff were very welcoming and polite and spoke very good English.

Spacious and warm. The employees are friendly and helpful. There are free toast and coffee before 9am.

Great place, very comfortable.

For a skii trip, it is really near to the skii resort. No need to stya at hotels if you can stay at this amazing lodge. This lodge was really a wonderful place to stay.

Highly recommend the Ringo Lodge! The rooms were clean, spacious enough, and the breakfast every morning was very filling for a day skiing. We loved the onsite Onsens too.

The host is truly, truly kind, and I highly recommend staying here 🤍
The location is very convenient — close to Hakuba Station, Hakuba Bus Terminal, and also near Hakuba Happo-One ski resort, making

Comfortable stay with convenient facilities and extremely supportive English speaking Japanese host. I highly recommend staying in this apartment for exploring Hakuba, Nagano.

Recommended. Stayed on ski trip…. Rooms are large and clean. Staff is excellent. Ammenities are extensive. Echoland location is easy walkable.

House of Finn was an exquisite experience! Very cool space, great room (quite large), superior service by the staff, and an unbeatable location in Echoland.
Would highly recommend!

Stayed in the new chalets at the Guesthouse. They are beautifully made with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fire and sauna were extra special after skiiing.

Amazing all around experience. We stayed in a room and we also spent a night in the Chalet. Both were amazing.
Staff are incredible and very hospitable.

Definitely recommend renting a car for this place but it's super worth it. The breakfast alternates between Western and Japanese and both are great.

Wonderful hotel right on the slopes. It was quiet and offered huge discounts on the lift passes. Friendly helpful staff. Nice restaurant for dinner.

All people are kind and friendly, foods are great. We had a good time there! It’s a place worth to revisit 👍👍

Absolutely cozy and lovely hotel in traditional style held by amazing family!
Big thanks to Kaito!

We had such an amazing time at Phoenix Hotel!

We stayed February of 2025. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed for the description and reviews I had read.
It did not live up to my expectations of professional and boutique.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast provided was simple but of good quality.

Perfect place to stay if you’re going skiing in Hakuba. Super close to all of the bus stops and rental places. Had lots of restaurants close too which made eating out easy.

Excellent location which is just next to the slope of Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort. This is a true ski in ski out experience. That slope is especially great for first-timers.

Highly recommended. It is a truly ski in ski out accommodation. You ski straight down to a chair lift. The rooms are comfortable even though the bathroom is on the small side.

Have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff made our stay, from the owner to all the staff you are a real credit to the business.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I honestly can’t say enough good things about Wadano Forest Hotel.

Had an amazing stay at Hakuba Ryujin. Chika and Yasuto were super friendly and made everything easy.

Recently stayed at Hakuba Ryujin Onsen for 7 nights with my friends.

This hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere and great value for your stay in Hakuba. It is run by a kind-hearted Japanese couple who provide exceptional service.

Very cozy family themed accomodation. The Manager is a very kind Japanese man, who communicated with us with a translator (when it became too difficult to translate).

Top spot for the nearby lift and luckily there is ski hire and a great pub nearby, not so good if you want to move around hakuba, as transport in hakuba valley is messy and difficult.

As a family of 6, including 2 young children, we stayed in one of the chalets. The quality from top to bottom was excellent.

Great ski in / out hotel with onsen facilities. Dinner for our 4 nights were all delicious and we thoroughly enjoy them.

Located in a tranquil yet central area of Hakuba, Wagaya was a great place to stay for our group of 4. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for meal preparation and daily Apres-Ski.

We stayed as a group of 6 for a ski holiday recently. The HHG group were very prompt with their communications. The house was beautifully appointed and warm.

Great location, allowed ski in and out every day for the duration of our stay.

The hotel is in a great location—only about a 5–10 minute walk to the ski resort, but it’s a bit tiring to walk back since it’s uphill.
Huge thanks to Shuto san, really deserves a big compliment.
