Nagano Hotels

We had a wonderful stay at Sachinoyu during our ski trip.

Run by a family and they take care of you with whole heart. ALL staff were super friendly and not to mentioned the winter Olympic coach is in store.

Evo hotel is absolutely amazing place! The staff is friendly, helpful, welcoming and really cool. They all speak English and are educated about surrounding.

Really amazing and best hotel i’ve ever stay on Japan.
Thank to all staff that super helpful and friendly.

Lovely family run hotel in the wonderful Hakuba.

I highly recommend Yamano Hotel. It has everything you need including a restaurant, sauna, onsen, spacious rooms, bar.

Incredible.
If you're looking for a Japanese-style hotel, this is it.
Very cheap, especially including breakfast and dinner.
Rooms a bit dated, but spacious. Had a newer one with a bathroom included.

My friends and I stayed at Shiga No Yu Hotel for 5 nights and it was hands down the best ski trip we’ve ever had. The hotel is located in Sun Valley with the chair lift just outside.

Stayed here for 5 nights the staff were absolutely amazing, about and beyond service.

We had one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had at Traumerei. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like a hotel and more like staying with family.

Fabulous little hotel … you can walk to one of the ski lifts, free drinks from 2.30 till 5.30 each day in the lounge by the fire … free shuttle service to anywhere you want to go and will pick you up

Small hideaway with perfect service. Happy hour in the lobby with live music and free wine & tea. Nice spacious rooms. Bery good restaurant. Take the tasting menu.

Excellent hotel – clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making the whole stay very pleasant.

This was a nicely located hotel. Staff was nice. Rooftop bar was awesome with a great dj. Rooms were rather spacious and the onsen was great! Only downside was the food.

Great stay at Meteor. The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm after long days on the mountain.

Meteor is one of the coziest lodging spots I’ve ever stayed at! I’m a sucker for fleece bedding, and they had exactly that. Meteor has a shared kitchen for people to store, heat, and eat food.

Chris went above and beyond as a host, helped us arrange transportations to and from, in and out of town, when our rental car plan did not work out.

Stayed here for a snow trip with a group of friends in Feb '23 and it was amazing.
Great location that was nice and quiet, and amazing surrounds when snowing.
The house was modern, clean and homely.

Located centrally a short walk to Happo bus station with easy connectivity to the slopes in the area. Our tatami room was traditional and spacious.

We had a great stay! The hotel offers only Japanese-style rooms, but they were very comfortable. The onsen was excellent, and we also really enjoyed the private onsen.

We had such a wonderful stay at Courtyard Hakuba and would definitely return on our next trip to Hakuba.

Easy connection via bus to various slopes and villages, including night bus (though buses not super frequent throughout the day). Staff were very welcoming and polite and spoke very good English.

Great location! A really lovely hotel with friendly service, featuring traditional Japanese tatami rooms + an amazing onsen!

The front desk staff are all very helpful and quick to serve all guests and their requests.

The host is truly, truly kind, and I highly recommend staying here 🤍
The location is very convenient — close to Hakuba Station, Hakuba Bus Terminal, and also near Hakuba Happo-One ski resort, making

Comfortable stay with convenient facilities and extremely supportive English speaking Japanese host. I highly recommend staying in this apartment for exploring Hakuba, Nagano.

Great location 5 min walk to the ski lifts.
Bar is also fun and yum food.
Rooms super clean and tidy.
Perfect spot.

Nice lodge located very close to Sakka Lift.
Great amenities with the laundry, daily breakfast and dry room.

First impression with the staff was fantastic. The public area are great! The room was even better!

It’s more than just a hotel. It’s also an experience. 10/10, would recommend it to anyone visiting Hakuba.
All the staff were very helpful, great food, wine and amenities.

Friendly guest house in a charming village slightly away from the main Hakuba town area.

Layout of the room chi could be better for 3 big luggage, but it has kitchen and washing machine which is a plus. I need bigger pillow too.

Staying in Hakuba for my first snowboarding trip with friends was definitely one to remember especially coming from Hawaii. The lodge was very affordable, cozy and right next to the lift.

We had an issue getting up the mountain as our car got stuck in the snow on the driveway leading to the hotel.

We stayed at Hakuba Tokyu for 3 nights. The service was very good. All of the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly.
The on-site Onsen was also very nice, very clean, and very luxurious.

We had a great stay at Hakuba Tokyu Hotel and would definitely recommend it for a ski trip ⛷️ The location is very convenient — about 5 minutes from Hakuba Bus Station and around 8 minutes from

Super accommodation, we stayed for 2 night but wished to stay more as the host were so friendly to us!
The breakfast and dinner were so good and they accommodate allergies also 🥰.
5/5 for all!

Perfect location if you plan to go snowboarding or skiing at Escal Plaza. Quick shuttle ride or even a 15 min walk to the slopes. Lovely views all around the area. Cozy room, spacious, warm.

A great place to stay, highly recommend. Lovely to be immersed a little into the culture staying in a traditional room and using the onsen facilities.

The toilet seat was in a really terrible positions where I would have to sit perpendicular to the toilet because there was a wall right in front of it. The rooms were nice and spacious tho but there

We stayed for 3 nights at the accomodation. Jon, Hidemi and the rest of the staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming to all guests. The hotel is clean and filled with amenities.

This place was lovely! Mr jon and his team all so nice, even gave us a souvenir on our way out. The ski slopes are close by. The breakfast was yummy and the room was spacious.

Overall this was a lovely stay and the vast majority of the 5 star review from this experience comes from the fact that Alan and his family running the business are just such lovely people.

This house provides comfortable bedding, private onsen, complimentary breakfast and an awesome chill-out lounge room.
