Hostels in KoshinetsuHostel

I stayed in a private double room. The hotel is very clean and nice with two washers and dryers. Self check in was very easy. I will have to come back during the winter for some powder!

Great dorm rooms and shared area the overall vibe is very chill.

If you’re heading to Hakuba, stay here. Max and the whole team go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. The hostel is kept very clean and has a great atmosphere.

My stay at A Lucky Hostel was fantastic. The hostel has a cozy, authentic Japanese vibe and its own Onsen — perfect after snowboarding.

The best hostel I have ever been too, and I don’t usually like staying in dorms! Impeccably clean and tidy, beautiful traditional Japanese interior, and very comfortable futon beds.

This place is Great, comfy Beds, clean facilities and a great feel. Only drawback is that there’s only 2 showers.

K’s House Fuji View is an exceptional place to stay, especially if you’re looking to explore the Mount Fuji area with ease.

Definitely recommend! The facilities are all extremely clean and well equipped. The staff are all lovely and friendly and helpful. The gusts were all very respectful.

If you want to actually meet people, Japanese and foreigners, and chill and discuss in a small traditional house, this is the place.

This hostel is absolutely amazing! The building itself is traditional and beautiful, which adds so much charm to the stay.

I stayed in the Rider House part of this guest house and I really liked it! Very basic but I was comfortable!

A great place to stay to get an early start for Kamikochi. Near the Sawando bus terminal. Budget comfy guesthouse with a nice onsen open 24/7 which is highly unusual.

We had another fantastic stay here. The place is set up incredibly well and has such a great vibe. It’s very family-friendly, but you can also see how much the younger crowd would love it too.

Booked a 5 night stay here at the Phat Packers. Wish it was longer! Shout out to all the staff! Cam, Ryan, Declan, Angus, Mia, Paul and many others.

Drove into this hotel in the evening after the sun set. The carpark is quite inconspicuous and not well lit.

We stayed here during the New Year holidays and had a wonderful time. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to a beautiful lake. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Easily one of the best places we stayed whilst in Japan. Clearly made with so much love!

This is a very nicely renovated very old house full of character and charm. It sits high in the middle of the valley with wonderful views and aspect.

I used it for private use the other day.
I slept in the telework room, which was equipped with telework equipment (monitors, etc. ) and seemed very convenient.

I stayed here at the request of my child. Thank you to the very kind and courteous staff.
I was a little confused about staying at a guesthouse for the first time, but it was completely stress-free.

Even though it’s one man operated guesthouse, the services are surprisingly good. Everything is clean, both in the room and common area. Lots of amenities are available in common area.

Hostel Shima Shima is located in an excellent location, especially if you're planning to visit Kamikochi. The accommodation is clean, private, and safe. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I had an incredible stay at K’s House Hakuba. The place is super clean and thoughtfully organized, clearly run by people who care about detail.

A warm and cosy place to call home while enjoying everything hakuba has to offer.

Fantastic service. The manager is extremely hard working a caring. The beds are comfy and rooms are warm in winter.

Lovely b&b in peaceful atmosphere.
Yoshiro san was so kind when I was there. He helped me plan many places I wanted to go and always on time to picked me up. The place was very clean and quiet.

One of my favourite hostels in Japan!
It's very homely and a really social vibe. The owner and staff are super nice! Will definitely return some day.

Super convenient, quiet and well maintained. If you're lucky enough to bump into the owners during your stay, they are the kindest people in the world. Booked direct for the best deal.

Very nice hostel, warm and friendly, close to the ski resort and the onsen 😍 I highly recommend this place 💯👌🏼💖

A cozy guesthouse where you can enjoy skiing/snowboarding and hot springs.
Visited with a friend.

Hight recommended!
A wonderful place to stay and truly experience Karuizawa. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the room is spacious and very cozy. The breakfast was delicious as well.

Is small guesthouse, on the hills, with a beautiful view from the window, welcoming host who has very good musical taste, I loved it selection, it is a very peaceful place, good for watching sunsets.

Absolutely fantastic hostel! Has everything you need, with super comfy futon and layout. Staff were fantastic and super welcoming!

Amazing 6 nights at the best snow lodge I’ve ever stayed at (and I’ve stayed at many in Japan). The owners Brett & Chereyne and their excellent staff really do go the extra mile for you.

Staying at Myoko Forest Lodge was honestly one of the best lodging experiences our family has ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was nothing short of exceptional.

We stayed in cedar self contained. Great valuation for money. Shrine just outside the window with cherry blossom starting to bloom.

Lovely hostel. The sauna is absolutely good. It's a Japanese traditional warehouse well-modified to Fin style stove sauna. I really love this.

Great Stay at Hostel みんか松本!
My recent stay at Hostel みんか松本 was fantastic! The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, offering everything I needed for a relaxing trip.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was perfect. The rooms were traditional and comfy, kitchen was well equipped. The toilets and shower were very clean.
