The most beautifully restful stay. The food is incredible and such a treat (7, 000 yen for a multi course tasting menu! ). Amazing ambience and hospitality — we felt super zen and cosy.

We stayed in a room with a private bathroom and absolutely loved it. The hotel was clean, and we had a good size room and facilities. It is in a fantastic location and good value.

Everything is perfect and the woman there is lovely. Its a great chance to know how the traditional houses are in Japan, the shoes, the onsen, etc.

We checked in around 6:00 PM and immediately loved the cozy, traditional Japanese-style atmosphere. Our room was on Level 2, and the view was absolutely beautiful!

This place far exceeded my expectations.
It's not fancy but it has everything you need — from peaceful rooms and corridors to free snacks and drinks and a very sumptuous breakfast and dinner.

We only stayed for one night but left felling better that we had in weeks, between the Onsens, free snacks and drinks I dont know what was the best part.

Wanosato was the “real Japan” we wanted to experience on our first visit. I was searching for somewhere off the beaten path, serene, and authentic and we found it here.

Best accommodation from our whole trip to Japan! The space is beautiful and carefully designed. I really enjoyed their book and craft beer collection.

I stayed at Ryokan Ogawa for 2 nights and I found it really lovely. Great staff, lovely little artistic touches around the place and in the rooms. Everything was quiet and respectful.

Beautiful room with private onsen (hot spring) at a nice location. Nice steep walk up from the train station to get to the hotel (could be challenging with heavy luggage).

Stayed here with my partner for one special night. We got picked up from the Atami station by one of the incredible staff Richard, he picked us as well as another couple and drove us up to the hotel.

The Hotel Mujuan is a hidden gem in Atami! It offers a very cozy and luxurious room (we had the Deluxe suite) with a stunning ocean view and view at the castle.

The hotel is linked to the overpass. Their breakfast is fantastic! They even have ice cream in their breakfast buffet. Miso soup is one of my favorites. They also sell mouthwatering pastries.

It was a weekday right after my kids' summer vacation started, so I guess it was a little empty. However, dinner time seems to be divided into several types.

There are hotels with nice views… It is located in a place overlooking Mikawa Bay in Toyohashi. Not only did we enjoy the view, but the food at Shikitei Japanese Restaurant was also delicious.

The view was perfect from the room, delicious meal and calming environment at the hot spring. The attendant was very welcoming and made the experience more fruitful.

I researched this hotel thoroughly before booking and was impressed by all the glowing reviews about the stunning views, convenient location, delicious food, and excellent service.

Kaigetsu is a ryokan run by Kiku Ezaki and her family since 1887. She is an Ama diver and well known in Toba.

We stayed 2 nights in this Ryokan, and it is one of the best memories of our trip.
The hotel is very well located 5 min from the station and the main attractions.

A slice of heaven! Wonderful, unique hotel with everything you could need. Close proximity to nature and restaurants. The hot spring baths were such a great surprise.

Spectacular view from the room. Room was very spacious. It is very close to Ito station within walking distance.
They have a private family onsen. This place is a gem and worth it. Loved staying here.

Affordable Ryokan with a nice view of the sea at Ito City. Rooms are clean, spacious and the staff were really hospitable. They have private onsens too which was super enjoyable!

We had a great time staying at the room with private onsen. There's also a family bath with views of the garden and an outdoor bath in the large public one.

Stayed here during New Year’s Day. Located slightly off the main area. Accessible if you are driving. Love how the layout of the hotel is. Very welcoming lobby.

Had a lovely stay with 11 friends and we enjoyed the serenity of Izu!
Would recommend staying here and enjoying a dip in the bath outside.

The view is spectacular with the sea in front of you, but since it is a rental villa, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are not included, and BBQ is an additional charge.
