Lucca hotels with breakfast

Lucca old town is a wonderful city — such history, so much to see, so many museums, churches, wonderful restaurants — and this hotel couldn’t be better situated in the heart of it all.

Lovely little hotel set within the walls of Lucca. We used it as a base to attend Lucca parkrun.

We enjoyed our stay in this boutique hotel. The location is excellent, nearby St. Michael square and the Puccini Museum, yet still on a quiet street.

Palazzo Dipinto is a superb hotel in every respect. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Our room was a deluxe double on the first floor, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated.

Excellent visit & stay at B&B La Bella Addormentata. This is such an adorable place and there is so much attention to detail that you can feel the passion and care of the owners when you stay here.

Hotel Rex is a small hotel with a very relaxed and slightly quirky vibe. Perfectly located to explore Lucca it sits just outside the city walls right near the train station.

A family run hotel in Lucca that we recommend. We stayed a week and throughly relaxed during our stay. The staff are helpful & friendly.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautifully restored villa. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. The entire property is spotless and well maintained.

The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful throughout our week’s stay. They all speak excellent English but were very patient with my attempts to speak Italian.

Pros Really nice hotel. Clean comfortable and nice terrace area with hot tub. Staff pleasant. Breakfast was pleasant and enough choice, some variations each day.

Great hotel close to the centre of Lucca — slightly outside the city walls but only a short walk away.

My first time in Lucca, though not my first time in Italy.

We popped into Grand Universe for drinks in their rooftop bar before heading out to watch the festival. The cocktails were lovely, and our server was great.

We loved Lucca and L’Antica Bifore! It’s a stunning, historic building in the heart of the old city, totally authentic and full of character!

Lovely little guest house right in the center of Lucca. Host Alessandro was fantastic very helpful, really friendly and made us a wonderful breakfast.

Our travel agent Frui Vita Travel found us the very best hotels for our trip and this hotel was our last before returning home.

Great location. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good enough variety for breakfast and the around the clock snacks and cakes, teas and coffees at your disposal was a great touch.

I photographed a wedding here mid June this year and was blown away by how beautiful this venue is, the owners are also very lovely which made the whole experience even better.

Unbelievable place in Italy/Toscane to stay znd have a quiet rest. Except the fantastic area, this place is just heaven on earth with swimming pool, tennis and jeux de boules.

Excellent location (few minutes walk from the city walls), beautiful breakfast, wonderful host.
Private parking is also a plus.

Very clean and well maintained. Free parking and possibility to check in outside Office-hours. Good communication via host Alberto. Just 5min walk in to the mighty city wall.

I've been here often… Only once did I find the room and bathroom not at the top of their cleanliness. Very convenient for its location.

Clean and welcoming room… But really small. If you have a trolley you can open it for a larger suitcase there is no space.

Lovely large room, perfect for a luxurious, quiet and relaxing break. The breakfast room is a stunning place to start the day.

The best place I stayed during my three week European tour. When they call it Palazzo, they’re not kidding! It’s an actual palace.

Fantastic bed and breakfast accommodation with friendly and helpful staff. Use of a kitchen/dinner with complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits is an added bonus!

Nice location, roughly 10 min walk from the city walks. Rooms are clean and pleasant and they come with private bathroom. Lucia is an excellent host who's very helpful.

A fantastic small boutique hotel in a beautiful, peaceful rural setting that’s only ten minutes away from Lucca.

Our stay at Albergo Villa Marta was simply wonderful. The place is beautiful. The facilities are carefully maintained and convey a feeling of peace from the very first moment.

We have just returned home following a wonderful week spent in Palazzo Busdraghi and wishing we were still there.

We were looking for a romantic and quiet place for our family near Lucca, and this was the perfect choice! The location and the views are stunning.

Lovely experience, beatutiful views. If you can, choose to stay in the little church, it is very quiet and private.

What a beautiful place (Lucca) and what a great, unusual and wonderful b&b. Our host (Monica) was brilliant — friendly, informative and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay in Lucca! Monica was super kind and welcoming. The room was excellent, with a beautiful view of the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro.

We stayed here at the start of a 10 day bike ride. The owner was beyond kind and welcoming and was very flexible about our bikes being dropped off and stored.

A truly charming, old style, traditional hotel, that is rightfully proud of its old school approach. The owners made us feel very welcome, even though our Italian is extremely limited.

Lovely people working at the hotel. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and I got many tips to see and eat in the city. Hotel is nice, tidy and with traditional interior.

Spent a night here in early July as we were visiting Lucca to see Lenny Kravitz perform as part of the city’s annual music festival.
