We have been guests of this charming hotel-cute, comfortable with all the amenities you can imagine. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable of Lucca & all of Italy. The BEST part of our stay is the amazing breakfast they serve every morning — such a glorious selection of Italian delicacies-plenty to get you going all day. The evening aperitif is wonderful as well… the outdoor patio welcomes you to sit & reflect on the day’s activities-ask for Fabrizio-Grazie & Ciao.

Super welcome for our 40 kg dog and also for us, with aperitif offered for the beginning of our honeymoon. Very nice room with beams on sight. Central structure and with the possibility of parking. We will definitely be back.

Clean and very nice personal rooms available and bike rental service in a city like Lucca we highly recommend it.

The staff are very helpful and welcoming, the structure is clean the only "negative" note are The pillows because I found it a bit too low.

We have just had a delightful night's stay at this lovely little hotel. Enjoyed even more by the thought at it was a House of Pleasure until 1958
The front of house staff were amazeballs, with the parking and local information. Our rooms were gorgeous, cool and spacious. Prosecco nightcap outside was very romantic and breakfast was delicious. I can't say enough about this lovely little place and would highly recommend. We have been to Lucca twice now as a stop off en route, but next time will spend a few more days.

It was an old brothel turned into a gem of a hotel in Lucca. In the historic center but out of the chaos and the ZTL.

After a very difficult 24hours of travel, with weather complications, flight delays, re-booking of flights and connections FOUR times, and then arguing with United Airlines in Fiumicino for 90 minutes about the location of my lost luggage, arriving at Albergo San Martino was simple and the staff made me feel completely comfortable and cared for. The hotel is a little difficult to find, but that is only because the city of Lucca is very old and there are many little streets and alleyways. Do not be discouraged by its location — everything inside is excellent, and the hotel is a short walk from everything within the Lucca city walls. Fabrizio was extremely courteous, helpful and clearly wanted to make me feel relaxed. Alessandro was also helpful and kind in the days following in making arrangements to help when my baggage finally arrived 58 HOURS after I landed in Rome. Despite a difficult journey, ALL the staff at Albergo San Martino were kind and helpful to an exhausted traveler. I would like to also mention the lovely wall-art in my room. Tasteful and beautiful! An unexpected surprise! Lastly, I would add that the city of Lucca is beautiful, easy to navigate, and its people were friendly and kind. If I am lucky enough to be able to travel to northern Italy again, the Albergo San Martino and the wonderful city of Lucca will be my first stop!

Albergo San Martino is a nice and tiny hotel in the center of Lucca. Personnel is really welcoming and cheerful, helpful in any occasion. Rooms are small but tiny and great value for the price.

A great discovery, friendly welcome, very central position, generous rooms well equipped, and a nice breakfast. Overall good value. Private car parking is a bonus.

The hotel is located on off street from the walls and town. It is an easy walk to the center of town and the train station. The staff are excellent. They are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. We were treated like family. The room we had was very spacey. We will be back!

Everything beautiful, upon my arrival, I discovered that I had been given a room in the category higher than that actually booked. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
Clean room, well appointed and bright bathroom and spacious, renovated very recently.
Gracious even at departure and available to keep your luggage into custody.

Loved the hotel, loved Lucca. Would definitely stay here again. Had a triple room because our son was with us and he actually had his own separate room. Bathroom was small, but very modern in style. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly.

Everything perfect, indeed on arrival we found the surprise of a superior room with a tub instead of booked. A short walk from downtown, breakfast okay. Recommended.
