Small hotel near the station but no rail noise at night that I heard. Be mindful though there is a rail overpass to cross to get there from the station so it can be challenging for somebody with heavy luggage or mobility issues as there is no lift. There is no lift in the hotel either but staff is willing to help. My single room was specious. Sheets and towels clean. Unfortunately the walls showed many scratches and dirt so it was a bit of turn off as a first impression. Although the room looked like on a picture advertised. Very small TV on a wall. Table lamp was broken but still working. Unfortunately, can't say the same about the aircon… It was a hot, summer day and when arrived was assured it was just put on and will cool down. Left it like this and went out. Returning back in a few hours my room still hot and showing 27-28 deg C. However, think it was more like 24-25. Still hot though. When reported the issue to reception I was only told the aircon was just put back on my return (? ) and how to use it and not even attempting to check if I did it correct as I expected. Which suspect was the give away there is something wrong with it and they don't want to face it.  Temp hardly dropped throughout the night. And the only ventilation was the open window as no ceiling or standing fans were provided. There was also a bit of misty smell in the room. I guess due to the summer heat and no aircon. Bathroom seemed to be recently renovated.  Sink, bidet and toilet were clean.

It is located in a highly strategic place, right next to a railway bridge, crossed which is in front of St. Peter's Gate. The property is kept in decent condition, the cleaning is carried out scrupulously and the staff is kind and helpful… Congratulations.

Good value for money The manager a really very nice and nice person… Very convenient to visit the historical part of the city.

Nice clean hotel with freindly staff, just needs a kettle to make a drink first thing in the morning.

I had a spacious room (with small bathroom), on the second floor: a single defect, the steps to climb with suitcases. Close to the centre and to the train station, but the passage over the tracks has many steps (again! ). Peaceful and quiet place.

Good reception staff prepared rooms a little too small however.

Point one, dirty.
Second Point, Rude.
Third Point, unacceptable the first of the year down from bed at 10, having paid 96 euros.
Fourth point, Room on the ground floor, in front of the breakfast room… Noises, people screaming, I mean… Impossible to sleep!
Too bad because great location!

Of modern only has the name.
Spartan and cold room… And in December it's not pleasant. TV not working… Luckily it's only for one night!

Great hotel, prices are not expensive. The staff is very helpful. There are double and single rooms.

Friendly staff, and a location. I will definitely go back and recommend it to others.

I had a Wonderful stay. Anna and Luca are wonderful and very great hosts… I would Love to go back to Italy and would only stay with them…
