Loved our stay at this very comfortable and clean suite to stay in Matera. Our room had nice little balcony with a view of the old city. Large and spacious bedroom, bathroom and sitting room.

Our stay at La Gemma Dei Sassi was wonderful. The location was perfect for exploring the Sassi, making it very convenient for our visit.

We stayed at the B&B Pignatelli for one night. The B&B has an excellent location, you can reach the center and the Sassi of Matera in a few minutes on foot.

Excellent location. Right next to the sassi area and easy access to the central station. If you have suitcases and no car access to the hotel, I highly recommend this property.

The location is excellent being only about a 3 minute walk to the entrance of the old city and less than 10 minute walk to multiple great restaurants, some being much less than that.

It was a very nice stay at the In & Out B&B in Matera. Cosy and very clean room, delicious breakfast and Mariella is a perfect host. It is very convenient to get to the Old Town of Matera from there.

The only negative about this place was the difficulty in locating and walking to it.

Stay in the heart of the Sassi with an exclusive terrace and spectacular views. The room was also excellent, spacious and functional. The shared kitchen where you can make a coffee is very useful.

A small but welcoming house. Equipped with all comforts: walk-in closet, luggage compartment, smartTV with different platforms, comfortable bed, shower with mood lights… in short, we had a great time.

The staff were delightful—friendly, helpful, and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The hotel is simply amazing in a fantastic location in Caveoso Sassi, right on the main street.

We received an upgrade to the luxury room. Extremely spacious and relaxing after a days walking. Noisy street but excellent sound proofing blocked most of it. Friendly and helpful staff.

We really enjoyed our stay — the atmosphere is romantic and unique. However, it feels like something is starting to fade.

Where to begin with this exceptional hotel? Firstly, Antonella is so warm, kind and down-to-earth. The hotel is classic and effortlessly designed.

We did not stay at the Locanda, but went for lunch when we were staying at a hotel in Morano Calabro.
