Hotels in Leinster with Breakfast

Fabulous guest house in a great location. We had a lovely stay and everything we could need. The room was lovely and we had a great nights sleep. A short walk to the shops and the Quay.

Beautiful guest house very close to centre of town, beds extremely comfortable, breakfast was a feast indeed.

Excellent & Interesting Place to Stay. Old character buildings full of history and loaded with antiques.

This country house is more than you would expect. Everything was great but some special stand out things were the honesty bar, coffee room, the hens out the back, THE BREAKFAST!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Osprey Hotel for a one-night spa break, and it exceeded all expectations from start to finish.

Just had a spa day with my daughter. We did a 'partner experience'. Amazing day and would absolutely do it again.

Warm welcome, extremely comfy bed and a nice layout. Bonus points for the random sheep and that beautiful centrepiece tree between the lobby and the bar.

This is nice hotel. The rooms are big, with a double and single bed. No fridge/minibar though. The restaurant has a good menu and the staff are excellent. The breakfast is especially good.

Perfect location, right on the sea front. Lovely outdoor patio off the bar to look out over the sea. Had bar food which was nice.

We were in the talbot hotel in Carlow for a wedding. Can not praise it enough, everything was just perfect. The hotel is fantastic, perfectly located for easy access from Dublin.

Lovely B&B in a beautifully building. The staff where very nice and good breakfasts on offer. It only 5 mins walk for the train station.

I spent 3 nights at Innisfree House and I would gladly return.
Ronnie is an exceptional host who made special arrangements for my very late arrival with no issues.

Just a great hotel and very well organised. Staff are on a different level. So helpful and friendly. All the food we had was great. Really enjoyed the wings and roast dinner.

We had a wonderful stay at the Fairway Hotel. The staff were warm and attentive from check-in to check-out, always quick with a smile and genuinely happy to help.

SOOOO great! Well cooked. We ordered almost one of everything on the menu. Suggest oysters, mussels, lobster with chips, claws, prawns, and skip the bisque.

Came in here for lunch on a wet and blustery day with my 6 year old son. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they are a real asset at a time when customer service often isn't a priority.

Stayed for a single night and was pleasantly surprised at the quality on offer. For just €100 bed & breakfast this was super value. The room was basic but very clean and comfortable.

From the outside you wouldn't think much and when you step in it's old what looks to me like an owl farmers pub no offence. Those carpets!

Beautiful decor and dining areas. Excellent breakfast.

Good location, off M50. We were visiting The Beacon Hospital next day. No worries about traffic. Stayed overnight, enjoyed bar food, very tasty. Great check in options. All round good experience.

Wonderful stay in Portlaoise. Loved the friendly welcome and comfy warm room. Clean sheets and fluffy towels. Strong hot shower.

October 17-20, 2025. The Ivyleigh House in Portlaoise, County Laois, is a charming retreat. Dinah and Jerry were incredibly thoughtful—like family—offering helpful tips for getting around.

Had a double party for my kids service was amazing room fabulous couldn't have asked for nicer staff thank you very much.

I'm a theme park enthusiast and booked this hotel because I wanted to visit Emerald Park. My room was very nice and spacious, there were coffee and tea facilities as well.

Staff are very helpful & accommodating. Location is excellent being just on the edge of the city. Exterior, foyer, reception, bar and restaurant are impressive in their architecture.

I always have a great experience when staying at a Radisson Blu Hotel. I would highly recommend a trip to this hotel.

Incredible from start to finish.
We really enjoyed our weekend here. If anything it felt like a 5-Star experience rather than glamping.

A well deserved 5 star rating for this gem of a getaway! First off, Ruth is a fantastic host, helpful, excellent communication, and a genuinely good person too.

A lovely find… very close to Athlone town centre but in a very peaceful location. Rooms spacious, clean and practical… with very comfortable beds.

A very nice place around the corner from the Greenway. To me it was the most strategic location while cycling from Mullingar. Easy access, good location, clean and spacious room with a nice bathroom.

Stopped in for lunch Sunday afternoon. Place busy, plenty of attentive staff on. Partner and I both had chowder, which was absolutely delicious and highly recommended.

Night staff Mairchey was absolutely amazing and accommodating to myself and my mother and we really appreciated his efforts. Food was mediocre and cocktails were amazing.

Just visited for food and it was so busy last Sunday. Full of families enjoying the nice weather and dini g in the bar. We were seated and had our food ordered very quickly.

Went to the Alamo Restaurant for dinner during our stay. Absolutely fabulous. Staff could not do enough for us. Food fantastic. Our dinner was reserved for 7.30 11/06/26.

Nobody on reception when I arrived but not a problem. I got a text with outer door code and my room key and all necessary info left on the reception desk.

Pros:
Central location. Easy to walk to restaurants.
Nice Decor. Very contemporary.
Spacious bathroom.
Clean.
Lovely garden in back that backs up to the creek.
Note: It's a hotel. No breakfast.

Beautiful Victorian era townhouse, turned into b&b. Service was outstanding, breakfast was lovely. We had one of the suites overlooking the front of the property and the houses across.

Ariel House is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean, with comfortable rooms that make you feel right at home.

Hotel is a lovely place, clean tidy and well set up.
Food is excellent.
Has what you would expect from a star hotel.

Great hotel. Clean and conveniently located. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was always very good. Restaurant in hotel was very good and had a nice bar area.

Had lunch at the restaurant, an unpretentious place closer to a fast food joint than fine dining. The fish in fish & chips was the largest I ever had, and it was excellent.

Thursday 26th March 2026.
Had lunch here today with my son. We both had Fresh salmon, mashed spuds, roasted veg with capers and a lovely white sauce.

Ideal location — close to restaurants and shops as well as the tramline and bus stops. Room was immaculate! The hotel overall was quiet and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful.

My main complaint about this place is the shower, I don't know how they approved this design. Water splashes out of the shower area and the water pressure isn't even strong.

Really lovely stay. Fabulous decor throughout and such a warm friendly welcome from the gentleman on reception. Our first time staying in a guesthouse and we would definitely stay again.

I travel frequently throughout Ireland and Europe, and I've stated in 100s of hotels and this was easily one of the best nights' sleep I've had in any property in months.

We have enjoyed our stay so far. The hotel is accessible to many points of interests either a walk or bus ride away.

A lovely hotel, ideally situated for exploring the sights of Dublin. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection of food. The room we had was lovely and the beds very comfortable.

Hilton Dublin is a beautiful and amazing hotel located close to the beautiful IMMA Garden walk. Staff are super helpful and very professional and would assist you with anything you need.

We stayed at the Hilton Dublin Kilmainham at the end of August and had a fantastic experience. It was our first time visiting Ireland, and from the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional.
