Waterford Hotels

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Waterford. Everything from the decor, amenities, food, and service is top notch. I am a tour coordinator and I had a group of 38 stay at this hotel.

Easy walking distance to train, bus and sights! Breakfast was amazing. Room was great (true king sized bed! ) Great air conditioning! Excellent water pressure in the shower.

Lovely hotel but room to improve.
Location is brilliant, staff are lovely. Decor is really nice.
There were a lot of spiders, in bedroom, Bar and the outdoor seating area has a lot.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay.

We had an overnight stay at the Park hotel Dungarvan mid week stay. We had a lovely room on the first floor. Staff are very nice, also very helpful. The bar food is very good.

Stayed in holiday homes at park hotel. Had a great stay houses really nice clean had everything you need. Pool and gym in hotel great. Food and service in bar great.

We had chosen B&B and the hotel is spotless, thanks to the hardworking staff.

Location was perfect, 5 mins walking from train station and 5 mins walking to the town. Room was lovely and spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. The hotel was lovely and modern.

Five of us had lunch in the Majestic Hotel Tramore last week. It was an exceptional experience. Food delicious. Service brilliant. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Well done The Majestic.

I chose this hotel deliberately to celebrate my 60th birthday as I had lovely memories of the hotel from my childhood holidays. It didn't disappoint. I have no complaints.

We received a very friendly welcome. The rooms were very good. You can get to the centre quickly on foot where you can just stroll around and eat something at The Moorings, for example.

I had a fantastic stay. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, comfy room & delicious Irish breakfast.

Lovely family run hotel, very friendly & efficient staff, great breakfast, bedrooms are small but beautifully decorated with every extra you need — hairdryer, coffee, tea & bottled water etc supplied.

We had breakfast this morning I got a full Irish, It was absolutely incredible so nice would love to have it again 😍, Our waitress was Aoife! was amazing to us and had a great way about her!

Hi, we stayed at Ballyrafter House for 3 nights in August 2026. This was our second visit but first time under new management. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again.

A little gem of a hotel, on the outskirts of Lismore. Myself and two friends stayed overnight and totally enjoyed our stay. The staff were so helpful and friendly.

Great BnB. We felt incredibly welcomed by the owners. The room and the bathroom were spacious and very clean. Lovely breakfast as well. Would definitely come back, would recommend!

Lovely experience at Glenart House. The host was friendly and thoughtful, the room was immaculate and comfortable, and the beachside location was ideal for a relaxing break.

Everything about Coolcormack is 5 *
John Joe is an great ambassador for south east tourism. He's also an excellent cook, breakfast was A1. Lovely room with a balcony and scenic views.

If you’re going to visit the Cork and Waterford area, this is where you should stay… especially if you want an authentic Ireland experience.

Hotel is located at the end of the bridge leading into Waterford. It does need updating and I believe some work is been done at the moment.

Had a lovely stay. Staff and hotel lovely.

Stayed here with my parents to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The team couldn't do enough for them, everyone was so friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Dooley’s Hotel Waterford as part of my Irish Adventure tour run by CIE Tours (you can read my review of the amazing Irish Adventure tour on CIE’s TripAdvisor page).

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Hatmaker during the week. What a wonderful surprise to find such beautiful and modern and spacious rooms.
Beautifully designed with every modern comfort.

What a lovely gem in Dungarvan!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Hat Maker Boutique Hotel.

The staff in the leisure centre are brilliant. Really helpful & obliging. Lovely views from the bar.

Great weekend trip spent at the Gold Coast. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

This charming spot was not only sparkling clean and safe, but the breakfast was truly a pot of gold!

I stayed as part of a group visiting for a sporting event. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and had everything I needed.

The hotel is a solid 3 star hotel. Rooms are comfortable with everything one would expect. Everything worked. Wi-Fi was fine. Enough socket outlets. Good lighting. Desk and small table.

Such a lovely hotel with a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional staff from the minute we arrived until we left they couldn't do enough to help us. The manager, Karen, told us they are like a family

This castle stay experience was amazing. We stayed in the Rose suite. It was huge. It had a claw tub which could be challenging for some people to get in and out of to shower.

First off, taking a short ferry ride to the island is simple, straightforward and starts your visit with a home run! The grounds are unbelievable, The Castle is spectacular, and the service….

Paudie and tracey have created a haven here against the picturesque backdrop of the mountains.

I honestly couldn’t fault our stay at the comeragh pods, the hospitality the views everything was just spot on, you are made feel so at home.

Avery is a gentleman, quiet and helpful which I was very grateful for as my husband was in hospital nearby and I was staying on my own in Tramore in order to visit him.

Avery and partner were amazing hosts. Location is great, premises spotless and nicely decorated. My room was tiny but I guess for one person it was adequate!

Perfect accommodations for a 2 night stay in Dungarvan. The cleanliness of the house is exceptional. A quiet area for great night’s sleep and the bed was very comfortable!

Arrived to the neighborhood and had some confusion with which house was the correct one; most unnumbered.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November.

We stayed as a large group split over three apartments. It was perfect. Very friendly, central location and comfortable.

You can not help not being impressed with this beautifully restored building where every element is tastefully done and finished to a very high standard.

I stayed here with my mom and young daughter. The room was basic, but it was clean and tidy.

If I have to go to my happy place, this is it. Wonderful location, excellent food and friendly service and it was worth the six and a half hour drive especially when you produce beautiful weather.

After our flight from Cork to Krakow was cancel — we renting another car, looking for place to stay, feeling defeated from lost dream trip — we came upon Newtown Farm B &B, just what we needed —

Great place! a beautiful view and very kind host. Lots of farm animals and a donkey eager to make friends if you ask the host for carrots. Nice and clean rooms with a great shower.

Me and my daughter just came back from there today.

Location: Great. Walkable to the Quay, Dungarvan Castle, restaurants, shops, the Super Valu grocery store, etc.
Parking: We arrived in the evening and paid enough to park until 5pm.

Fantastic host. Cannot wait to visit again. Lily the host couldn't do enough for us. The apartment was perfectly appointed and nicely furnished. Cannot recommend enough.

We stayed in Macs Townhouse Apt 5 with two adults and two young children. It was fantastic! Small but light filled and recently renovated. We loved sitting in the bay window watching the street.

We stopped there for one night and the owner was super nice and helpful. He recommended stops for our next day on the road and made sure we had everything we needed.

Had such a lovely stay with a group of women on a hiking weekend. Nicholas was a fabulous host and is very passionate about making sure the guests are comfortable.
