Birr Hotels

We enjoyed a stay here recently. The hotel is on the outskirts of Birr in its own grounds.
Our room was clean and well appointed, with a view over a small garden area.

We stayed in the County Arms Hotel in Birr for three nights for our wedding and honestly had the most incredible experience from start to finish.

I stayed with my son on Thursday 20 November 2025.

Food excellent, service great, lovely atmosphere and centrally located.

We have stayed here many times. Every time was fantastic. The rooms are really lovely lush, and breakfast next morning he is really high-quality. The last time we visited here we simply had lunch.

A really nice spot for breakfast and the choice is massive. I went for a cheese, bacon, mushroom and onion omlet and it did not disappoint. It was so cheesey which made me very happy!

This is a fantastic place to visit. Comfortable and you are made to feel so welcome. Martin goes out of his way to make sure that its a good visit! The breakfast is brilliant!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel: everything was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We especially appreciated the comfortable mattress — it was a great sleep.

Brona and her husband were such warm and wonderful hosts. They were so helpful and caring, recommending us places to eat and bringing us tea and biscuits upon arrival.

Absolutely phenomenal house, great hosts and lovely area — would 110% recommend to anyone visiting Birr, for festivals, tourism etc.

Carmel is a 5 star host.
Room is spacious and immaculately clean.
Location is quiet and peaceful.

A lovely place to stay, we were really taken care of by the lovely owners — the house is cosy and welcoming and the view of the lovingly curated garden at breakfast is perfect!
