Carlow County Hotels

We stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel itself is lovely and the fresh flowers everywhere are beautiful. We were upgraded to a Suite which was absolutely amazing.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at the Lord Bagenal. The accommodation was great and the food was excellent! We chose to eat in the hotel and we were not disappointed.

Absolutely amazing service from beginning to end!
We had the most wonderful experience with Woodford Dolmen for my mam’s wedding.

What a lovely surprise!
We booked the Woodford Dolmen Hotel on a bit of a whim while visiting Carlow for a training weekend, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip.

Our group of 17 friends, travelling from different counties, chose The Step House in Borris, Co. Carlow as our meeting point for a night away together, and what a fantastic choice it turned out to

This place left me wishing I booked for a longer stay. Welcoming and cozy. Think upscale but with the warmth of your grandmother's house. The service was sweet and wonderful.

We stayed three nights in a very comfortable ensuite room. Ample parking. Excellent breakfast choices, incl fresh fish option daily.

The welcome was excellent, the room was clean & comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding and set you up for the day.
Highly recommendable.

Perfect location, right on the sea front. Lovely outdoor patio off the bar to look out over the sea. Had bar food which was nice.

We were in the talbot hotel in Carlow for a wedding. Can not praise it enough, everything was just perfect. The hotel is fantastic, perfectly located for easy access from Dublin.

We had a family birthday milestone celebration in Mount Wolsey and it was absolutely fantastic. We stayed in a house in the grounds and it was very well presented and comfortable.

We stayed two nights, our room was bright, modern and luxurious. Homemade soap Company toiletries are amazing. A beautiful view over looking the golf course.

It's a quiet, lovely place but you can hear the noise from the next room. Also, the breakfast part we were not told about it on our arrival, just keys handed over to us, nothing else.

Fantastic b&b. The owners are very accommodating and supportive. (Important in a foreign country). The breakfast and service were delightful and wonderful. The beds were comfortable.

Beautiful place to stay, the hosts, pat and noleen are outstanding, very very clean and cozy, breakfast is georgus, definitely stay again, can highly recommend.

Seven Oaks hotel was a delight from check in to check out. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Gorgeous hotel. Food was lovely. Staff and reception were very helpful and friendly. We tried afternoon tea and that was nice and reasonably priced. Definitely would return.

Accommodation is limited in Carlow so the location is great. Rooms are comfortable & clean but basic. No USB sockets to charge your phone, 2 miniature shower gel bottles, no hand soap.

Loving the stay over here.
It feels like staying at your own home.
I Specially love the facility of kitchen they provide for us to cook ourselves which makes it feel like a home.

Stayed here as good location for the races and a good price for three en-suite bedrooms. Jimmy and Bernadine were great hosts and joined us for dinner. Ask Jimmy for some steaks and bbq them.

We stayed at the Lorum Old Rectory and it was such an amazing experience. The house is spacious, so nicely decorated, complete kitchen with all utensils, huge bedrooms and comfortable beds.

Had the best welcome from Rebecca and Bobbie. Every query was met with a smile and an answer. Very comfortable beds. Great facilities.

Fantastic fishing spot, Pat and co do a brilliant job, been there several times never disappointed, highly recommended, ps there's a fishing shop in the town if you forgot anything, I'm sure Pat will

Beautiful place, fly and coarse fishing available. Some big specimen swimming there.
