We spent a few nights here in March 2012 and we can't say enough good things. The B&B was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing (I still wish I could make scrambled eggs half as good as the ones they serve here). Tom is a great host and incredibly helpful. We weren't sure where we wanted to visit one day and sked his opinion. He disappeared and came back with three different itineraries and maps that he marked up for us!

Lovely B&B. Clean and comfy, with a big bed. Good location and parking. Excellent Wi-Fi and a superb breakfast. Really good value. Recommended!

B&B was very nice however has the feel and atmosphere of a hotel over a true B&B experience.

Highly recommend this place and good value for money if you book direct. Found it initially through booking dot com. Tom is a great host and knows all local activities and has plenty of brochures and even offers special bike packages. There is a bike shop just 2 doors away. Very tasty food and the small breakfast is big enough you get four sausages, 3 rashers 1 egg and tomato piece. Could not eat it all as we had a good night out on the town.

We stayed here for 3 nights. I could not recommend this B&B enough. The service we received was second to none. The bedrooms are so spacious and absolutely spotlessly clean. We received a lovely warm welcome from the moment we arrived to the second we left. The breakfast was fit for a king (or queen) ☺️. We had a wonderful stress free mini break and we're so glad we choose to stay here.

If you want to stop in a quality B&B then this is the place, very modern throughout, rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy and the breakfast was that big I couldn’t eat it all… I would highly recommend it.

Avlon House was by far the BEST B&B at which we've ever stayed! Accom VERY clean, comfy, including the BEST breakfast provided ever — both hot/cold! Our host was so nice and couldn't have been more helpful with advice as to where to eat and what to do in Carlow and surrounding areas. You can't miss with this choice!

We had a wonderful visit to the Avlon House! The room was spacious and breakfast was amazing. The smell walking out of the room in the morning was hypnotizing.

It was so homely and welcoming from the moment we stepped inside. The house and rooms was clean and decorated to the highest standards. Food was excellent and the portions were amazing, always at the time we asked for it with no delays. The host was very warm and welcoming and interested in our trip to Carlow, giving us brochures and checking to see how our days went. I would not hesitate to recommend this bed and breakfast, and will return soon to be spoiled.

We had a delightful stay at this B and B. The accommodation was excellent, spotlessly clean spacious and had everything we needed. The food was top class. The location is great for touring the South East of Ireland and also close to Carlow Town. The Owners of the property could not have been more helpful and friendly. They made sure all our needs were met. I don, t think there was a stone that was left un-turned even to the smoking area they thought of everything. Definitely the best place we ever stayed. Avlon House B&B in Carlow town is one of the top guesthouses in the south east of Ireland. The owner is very helpful when it comes to things to do and things to see in the locality. We were delighted with it and would certainly recommend.

Avlon House is one of the top guesthouses in the Carlow area. They provide bed and breakfast accommodation all year round. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They gave us lots of useful information on things to see and do in the area. The breakfast was fabulous, as good as any hotel I was ever in. We plan to go back again next year.

We had a great time. The Dunns where amazing, very helpful. The room was very comfortable like staying at home. The food was great too. Not to mention the location. I love Carlow the town is great and so are the people. I highly recommend Greenlane house B&B if your traveling to Carlow.
