Lovely evening bar staff were attentive and was an amazing dinner. 5 star all round and would reccomend.

Lovely hotel. Food fab but the girl in the bar where the darts were was amazing. Black hair tied up. Claims to be a tipp lady. 😊😊top class lass and so friendly.

Stunning hotel with lovely ambience. We also went to the gym & leisure centre… Well equipped, swimming pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. We had 4 course dinner meal in restaurant and was absolutely amazing. Very tasty, decent porcions… Can't say any negative word about this hotel. Highly recommended!

Couldn't recommend this hotel enough. From reception staff to restaurant & bar staff, all helpful, courteous & super friendly. Rooms were spacious, spotless & warm. Food was excellent. Highly recommend & looking forward to my next visit already.

I was there for a hen weekend and the staff were absolutely lovely, we had a cocktail class and colm was showing us how to make the cocktails, he was so nice to us all, we had a great night, I couldn’t recommend a better hotel. Thank you! 😊

Lovely room, very friendly staff good food.

The staff were so nasty the man on reception on the 28 of January 2020 the the evening I never met a more horrible nasty person a degrading condescending person that took his authority’s o a new level made myself and my husband feel so unwelcome after travelling for three hours I hope this man is reviewed by the hotel as they are going to loose a lot of business from this customer service.

Terrible staff so rude would not recommend this hotel!

Myself and two other friends had afternoon tea today. I just want to say the food was exceptional. The venue felt very safe as we had a reserved area. The setting was perfect. The staff were friendly and I just want to pay particular homage to Imelda. Fantastic service and excellent quality food. I would definitely recommend it. Thanks again.

Staff are so lovely and friendly. Restaurant food was gorgeous and staff were so attentive. We stayed in the Bridal Suite it was huge and spotless.

Great hotel staff are very friendly and very helpful. We visit once a year. And this year year left us box of chocolates for anniversary.

All the family out a for a meal the food was absolutely fabulous. Very nice staff and service was fantastic.

Stayed here with my sister who has special needs given our room no which was easy to find, room was nice and kettle on table which is handy. Beds high up mattress was hard, grand big shower tho. Restaurant was nice and private, avery helpful girl was so nice and friendly to my sister, and the meals were lovely, its just apity some prices were expensiveit wud have been nice to have music in the lounge each night, as nothing much for adults and older persons. Town was down the road which was very handy. Ididnt get to see the swimming pool or to look around. Staff friendly and id go back again sometime overall anice down to earth hotel worth the price.

Lovely hotel but it cld really do with an update. The foyer looks old and even tho it is clean, it needs a total makeover.

So so good. Stayed over night, room very clean. Pool nice and warm but watch tiles are very slippy. Bar food very good breakfast omg so good. One of the best hotels we have stayed in.

Not listed on website that pool closes at 6:30 on Saturday night. Would not have booked here if that had been posted. Oddly they have it printed on the room card sleeve. Would not have been such a big deal but the room is sweltering. Requested a fan and was told that they would see if one was available. Not exactly "4 star" accommodations while travelling with 2 young children. Super disappointing.

Went for food and giving it two stars seems generous to be fair, the staff were all friendly and good but the food it's self was bland and tastless/burnt or dripping in greece. There was a group of 9 of us and we all said the same thing which isn't great on your part.

Lovely hotel to stay in. Receptionist at front desk so welcoming and friendly. Bedroom spotless and spacious. Breakfast lunch and dinner excellent from the service to the food on the plate. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi the best I've been in in a long time. Just 3 minutes walk in to town. Overall I'd recommend The Seven Oaks Hotel to anyone.

Lovely cosy hotel very friendly staff. Tasty breakfast, very good variety on the buffet. Close to town and ample parking. Rooms newly refurbished and spotlessly clean. Very quiet too so good night's sleep. We were on road side of hotel so if u like window open be breaded for some street nice passing traffic etc.

This hotel has a welcoming Reception area with plenty of comfortable seating. It has many facilities including Pool and Spa and offers a good lunch menu with a range of options. The staff are friendly and efficient.

We had a very nice two night stay at the Seven Oaks Hotel on Carlow. The facilities were very good as was the food and the room. We enjoyed it. The staff were very nice and helpful.

My self and my wife have been in the hotel many times. It's a wonderful building homely and welcoming. The reception is nicely layed out giving lots of comfortable chairs Lovely surrounding and warming atmosphere. Nice place to eat with good food and a large selection of beverages. The staff are lovely and are very helpful.

Lovely traditional type hotel with plush sofas and open fires. Despite 6 to 8 people in the bar area we could not get served at 11am. Staff were reluctant to even make eye contact. Reception did see to us however… but thereafter we were ignored again. What a shame. Lovely hotel… very unwelcoming staff.

I stayed here with my two sisters and had such a fantastic time. It was great fun and staff really brilliant and very friendly. Breakfast was out of this world. It had everything fit for a king. Hotel was clean spacious. I most definitely would stay here again and recommend it. We think it was worth every penny that we spent.

Most welcoming 2 girls working this morning 30th. Dec'17 in the bar. Served us breakfast. Nothing was too much bother. We will call again for sure.

Comfortable hotel with all the facilities you need within walking distance to the centre of Carlow town. Excellent food, great staff and good leisure centre.

Attended the Carlow Camogie Dinner dance on Friday night our experience was fantastic from start to finish. The food was top class with a brilliant choice of menu I am quite hard to please when it comes to food. But no complaints it was piping hot and served so quickly the floor staff were excellent with time to say hello even though they were so busy as for the manager Michael an absolute Gentleman the seven oaks staff could give a few lessons to a couple of restaurants in carlow town. Well done Seven Oaks.

Too many doors with security access control Locks when moving around the hotel. If you forget your room card you can’t get anywhere. Rooms are tired and need a refurb. Food is only average and breakfast has very little selection. Def not 4 star or even 3 star. Disappointing!

Very nice hotel pleasant on the eye. Large car park plenty of spaces when we arrived at 1 30 pm swimming pool and spa on site a bar restaurant and conference ballroom. First impressions very good.

As for somewhere to stay it is nice and pleasant with good facilities, the food was very nice with very friendly staff but the bedrooms have poor sound deadening I could clearly hear my fellow residents talking next door throughout the day and night. The worst aspect of my stay was the gents toilet oh my the smell was truly sickening which will be a lasting memory of my stay.

I was disappointed the pool closed at 6.30 as I thought this was early for a Saturday. But that however is the only negative comment I can say. There was 5 in our family and we had a fantastic 3 course meal in the bar, huge portions and absolutely amazing food. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the bill, it was extremely great value. The next morning for breakfast I asked the gentleman that checked us in for brekkie did they have Soya Milk as I am dairy intolerant. He said he thought so and a fee minutes later he brought me over a litre of it. He had gone out of his way and gone to the shop & bought the milk for me. Now that is what I call going above & beyond. He made my day as I badly needed tea after the beers the night before. Thanks so much for a great time all at this hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff are really pleasant and helpful. We have enjoyed our meals here. The room is excellent. The town is great to explore and just a few minutes walk away. We are both looking forward to coming back son.

Nice clean hotel. Staff very friendly. Only complaint is there was a motor going all evening in the room above mine which was annoying.

Had a lovely lunch. Salmon with lemon sauce. Gluten free. Top marks all round.

A very comfortable hotel. I was here on business with a large group of international colleagues and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I only had breakfast (I didn't have much of dinner) and it was a very good selection of both 'traditional Irish' and 'continental'.

Fantastic food service was excellent as always had roast beef dinner at one o'clock didn't need to eat anything else till about seven that evening,

Lovely place, exceptional food, would recommend it and will definately go again. Couple of minor gripes, we were going to see Foster and Allen, rang up mid day and booked a table in the restaurant for a meal before the show. On arrival at the restaurant, no booking on record. No problem, friendly and helpful staff found us a table right away. We were sat at a four seater table, after we sat down someone cleared away the extra settings, then the menu came, then we ordered. When it became clear we were not going to be offered anything to drink, I collared a passing waitress who dealt with it promptly. But the meal was absolutely lovely and the quality of the food was first class. Reasonably priced too, the bill came as a nice surprise.

Super Week service very good… we feel confident with a dedicated and welcoming staff. Spa Pool and modern gym. Great room typical decoration.
The friendly direction and esite not to accompany you. Lack of French at the reception. No problem to be understood. Family City and quiet. We'll be back soon. I will be back. I Hope Thank You Seven Oaks Hotel for the very nice moments.

Really nice lunch here on a Sunday. Traditional carvery. Pretty comfy as well and close to the town centre.

The staff are lovely and have great customer service have stayed there twice already this year and am going back again in may. Very clean hotel and the food served there is absolutely amazing, generous portion and top quality.

My Partner and I visited this Hotel last weekend, We travelled from Dublin. I must say our stay was very plesant, The staff were very helpful, Breakfast was plentiful and tasty The Gym and pool was very clean. The rooms and hotel is big but just a little tired looking in general. If your looking for a weekend break from Dublin an hours drive away, I would recommend here.

Brilliant hotel. Helpful friendly staff. We were doing an event for charity and this hotel gave us two rooms free of charge. Also we had a stag party here recently. Highly recomended.

Victim of its success, there is not a night where there is not no crowd at the bar and restaurant for a ceremony, a protest. Etc. The problem is that many are sleeping at the hotel after, and at 3 o'clock in the morning, when going to bed, they laugh about people who sleep! Even if "these people" work the next day! I have stayed 18 nights (in several stays). It's over, next time, I to chose another.
