Hotels in Connacht with Breakfast

The staff make this hotel. There are sufficient of them and they are friendly and very helpful, as well as well managed.
It's well placed for the town, situated centrally.

Absolutely lovely hotel, with a lovely historical luxury about it. Our room was spacious and overlooked the river Moy from the top floor.

Lovely bar and food with pleasant staff.
No complaints.

Really enjoyed food and drinks. Lovely staff. Very generous portions. Very festive and cosy too.

We had a great one night stay at the Landmark. Our room was a great size, beautifully decorated and had a partial view of the river.

Great location across from River. Glad we had a room in the back overlooking a roof as I met folks who were facing the river and also the N4 to Dublin and they said it was loud.

We have stayed three times at this guest house and every time we have been delighted with everything.

Rooms are very comfortable, extremely clean, abd breakfast is very good. Location is close to all amenities. Will definitely stay there again.

Such a beautiful home Kate has created! The house and grounds feel as though you've stepped back in time. You can see her exquisite taste and attention to detail everywhere.

This is a hidden gem… Absolutely fabulous… The hostess is Wonderful and very generous both with the home cooked breakfast and her time. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here.
The staff were so friendly & helpful, the service was effortless from check-in to dinner. Which was fabulous, all empty plates which is unheard of with the children.

Excellent place to stay. Room was a bit small and very warm. Window opened a little which was good. Food was absolutely beautiful and staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Fabulous location, right in the centre of Westport. Everything walkable.
Nice feel to the hotel. Very friendly staff.

Great hotel considering it's a 3 star. The staff were AMAZING, so incredibly friendly and accommodating with our little dog. The fact they're dog friendly is just brilliant!

An outstanding experience from start to finish. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Food at Wildes was first class. The Golf course was challenging but quiet enough for improvers to enjoy.

We're just back from our stay at the Lodge at Ashford Castle and we had a fantastic time. Our room was a superior which was clean and spacious.

Surprisingly spacious hotel despite its modest street-front appearance.

A lovely welcoming experience in Belmullet. Fabulous room. Very helpful, friendly & engaging staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

They say the staff is what keeps a place and your staff are exceptional.
Nothing was a problem, kind, warm and friendly.
Wedding was also so well done,
No messing jobs done.
Well done all.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our tour group. The hotel is very nice although the rooms are very small. Room was clean and beds are comfortable.

I cannot say enough good things about The Skeff. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, and what a city!

What a gem of a hotel! Centrally located on Eyre Square and so easy to find. The rooms were super comfy and had great amenities. The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly, courteous, and helpful.

I had such a lovely experience at the restaurant at Radisson RED Galway. I visited to celebrate my birthday, and everything was wonderful from start to finish.

Had an outstanding stay and experience!
I recently stayed at the Radisson RED Galway for 5 nights, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Fabulous hotel with wonderful staff. The hotel is very nice, a really stylish and spacious bar. Food is very good in the Signal bar.

A lovely welcoming hotel and staff.
They were very chatty to all the people.
Had a fabulous breast. The smoked salmon with poached or scrambled eggs was just delicious.
The menu is class.

We had a very enjoyable overnight stay here whilst on a road trip along the Wild Atlantic Way. We stayed in a comfortable king size room overlooking the garden (a much appreciated upgrade).

The Ardagh Hotel came highly recommended to us by some friends. Everything they said was true — it certainly is a gem.

Last week after a very misty day in Connemara, a very warm welcome awaited us, when we presented our selves for some bar food. The Manger remembered me from a previous visit.

Our stay at Lough Inagh Lodge was nothing short of magical.

I stayed at the Moon more hotel this week 24th September 2025. I enjoyed every minute of my time. Staff very friendly and smily. It was brilliant to be collected from the ferry BT Andrew.

A group of us had booked to go to celebrate 2 big birthdays but because of bad weather forecasts only the 2 birthday girls went. We had a wonderful relaxing visit. The food on Murrays was fantastic.

We were touring Ireland and wanted to choose a castle stay for one night. The entire stay exceeded my expectations. And for what we received, the price was very reasonable.

We visited Logh Rynm Castle for a day trip and are smitten. What a beautiful place! We had our most tasty lunch in an elegant drawing room and walked in the paradise-like gardens.

Our experience at Clew Bay Hotel was excellent. It started with a very friendly and informative reception. The Room was very comfortable and we had nice views of the street.

It’s not every day you find a hotel that feels less like a hotel and more like you’ve been adopted by a very welcoming Irish family!

My partner and I booked this hotel as we were in Sligo for a friend’s engagement party and wanted to treat ourselves.

Stayed here in the school holidays with my wife and 6 year old son for four nights. Location is excellent, easy to navigate too, close to the town centre and to Rosses Point.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel for next reasons:
First of all, the rooms are equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay: fans, air purifiers or air conditioning, and clean,

Great place to stay! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the location is amazing and breakfast has everything one needs. The rooms are small but absolutely sufficient.

We stayed at Travelodge Galway for 3 nights. The room was spacious, which was a plus, but unfortunately the carpet was quite dirty and could use a good cleaning.

Big clean and modern rooms.
Dog friendly!
Clean and modern bathrooms.
Great value buffet breakfast, €12 pre booked.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Water machine at reception is quite handy.

We had a wonderful stay at the Menlo Park Hotel during Galway Races week. Our Signature Room was beautiful, with lovely décor and so many thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra special.

We were greeted with a room upgrade which was great as we hit delays getting there. The service at reception, dinner and rooms was the very best and all staff were friendly.

My husband and I recently returned to Abbey Glen Castle Hotel after almost 25 years. We were on a voyage of reminiscence and it didn’t disappoint.

This is not a hotel, it is an experience. We have never felt so welcomed in any other hotel. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. The owner and host went above and beyond for every guest.

Great and unique experience. The owner and restorer of this castle is truly a unique character.

We held a party at Belleek castle recently, and it was incredible! Our themed party had over 50 guests, and every single detail was managed with real care by Stephen and the team at Belleek.

Roo. D were large, clean and generally above other hotels I have visited. Staff were courteous and very receptive. Pool and sauna area were well maintained. Breakfast was filling 😋 fresh and varied.
