Friendly staff, excellent atmosphere and delicious food.

Service very poor. Took about 30 minutes to order and receive teas/coffees then waiting another 15 minutes for desserts that are pre made. Desserts themselves not worth the €8 price tag each.

We had our wedding in Radisson Blu Sligo. And it was the best choice we made. The venue, the staff, the food, everything was just wonderful. Our guests were complimenting the decor thinking we had done it ourselves, they were shocked when we told them that the Radisson had provided it all. The stresses of organising a wedding do not exist with this hotel as they look after so much. We would recommend them to everyone! Huge thank you to Denise, Olive, Ashling and the rest of the team! We had a perfect day thanks to you all.

Treated myself to the Spa Special today and it was unreal. I had a fantastic therapist called Alex who is seriously good at what he does. I would highly reccomend him. I will definitely be returning.

We had our wedding in March of this year after having to pospone 2 years ago. We can not recommend this hotel highly enough. Denise and all the team were incredible. The attention to detail was next to none and we had the best day of our lives. Guests are constantly telling us what an amazing day they had and the service was on point. Do not think twice about booking your wedding with the Radisson blue hotel you won't regret it!

A beautiful hotel with friendly staff. You can feel really great here. Agata greeted us at the reception. She told us about the hotel, restaurant, recommended dishes and told us about places worth visiting. The right person in the right place. The hotel should be proud to have such employees.

What an absolutely fantastic weekend we had in the Radisson Blu for my beautiful cousins wedding. Friendly & very helpful staff. Food was amazing. Great selection for breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. The Hotel is in a beautiful setting. i will definitely be visiting again. Thank you to all.

We were at a wedding there and from start to finish it wS fantastic… the rooms were beautiful and the attention ti detail was brilliant. Top marks for everything and 20/10 for all the staff.

Wouldn’t recommend, very little consideration for customers. Very poor management, cold breakfast, as you a check out ask was everything ok but when you tell them it was not they just brush you off and then send you a customer satisfaction survey but don’t reply to issues you have! The very fact that they only reply to positive reviews speaks volumes for their desire to solve problems.

Gorgeous rooms, the best bathroom lighting I've ever seen, and the friendliest staff. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, great service covid cert policy needs reviewing, they do not ask for it at check in then go on to persecute you EVERY time you use the restaurant, bar, tea rooms etc even if you've already shown your cert previously.

Having recently had our wedding here, I cannot recommend the hotel enough. The staff are outstanding — from management to wait staff to housekeeping to the kitchen staff. They held an excellent standard of both professionalism and enthusiasm throughout! Our drinks reception was very atmospheric and set the tone to our guests for the entire day. An abundance of yummy bites and plenty of drinks variety meant our guests were perfectly fed and watered on arrival. The reception ballroom was simply stunning. All the attention to detail was impressive and certainly didn't go unnoticed. What a beautiful setting for our day. Finally, as far as wedding dinners go, there is no competition. The food was absolute perfection — so much so, that 4 weeks later my guests are still harping on about the 17 hour slow cooked beef! I highly recommend this venue for future couples to celebrate their day. For a venue that goes above and beyond, and leaves a lasting impression on your guests, the Radisson Sligo is it!

We had our wedding reception at the hotel. All the team were great from the initial meeting with Denise and on the day. The food and service were excellent on the day and during our stay. Would highly recommend. We plan on staying at the hotel again in the future for a break away.

We had our wedding in June and from start to finish the team in the Radisson were absolutely amazing. Everyone was so professional and did everything possible to make our day perfect. Denise is amazing at her job and I felt totally at ease as I knew she had everything under control. I can’t praise Denise and the team enough and we are so thankful for everything they did to make our day so special.

Thank you to the wonderful staff in the Radisson who made our wedding such an amazing day. They where so professional we couldn't fault the service, from set up for the wedding to the reception room there was so much attention to detail. The food was amazing we all raved about it for the evening. The staff where so helpful we look forward to returning in the future.

Unbelievable place have been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s, it has really upped their game when they reopened in june. Food amazing now! staff amazing! folks give it a try you won't be disappointed! 💯

We had our Wedding Reception at the Raddinson Blu, 23rd November 2019 and without any shadow of a doubt it was the best decision we have made, they made our day amazing from start to finish. Knew from the very first visit when we met the team, Denise, Joe and Martina and all the staff that we where in safe hands, I honestly could not thank them enough, as nothing was ever a problem. The Meal that we received was fantastic, guest are still talking about it and their overall experience of staying at this fantastic hotel. Words can't thank the team at the Raddinson blu for making our day the most special and memorable day that we will never ever forget and we are forever greatful for that. Amazing hotel! We had our wedding here on the 14 March 2020 & couldn’t recommend the hotel and staff enough. From our first meeting to the day of the wedding they have been everything you need in a supplier. Denise had every aspect of the day covered and stuff you would never even think of. Her experience is invaluable. Covid restrictions for weddings came in two days before our day which meant a very stressful two days for us. The hotel never put any pressure on us, even when they received the table plan at 11 the night before wedding. Nothing was too much. The staff honestly were all so friendly & happy we got our day. The food was absolutely delicious & plentiful, we opted for the salmon & 12 hour beef which went down a huge hit with everyone. We are so happy we chose the radisson for our wedding day, it will always have such happy memories for us. Only for the Radisson Sligo doing all in their power for us, we would have had no wedding so we will always eternally grateful.

I have no negatives about this hotel, any time we have been there, nice atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful, rooms spacious and clean, food good.
To date I have no complaints, always let hotel know if we are not happy about anything.

Attending the yes chef awards last night, great hotel, brilliant set up with excellent food. Sean at the bar was full of craic and provided excellent service all night, will definitely be back.

The set up of the room was amazing. The staff were all very efficient and extremely friendly and attentive. The meal was delicious apart from the food at the barbecue bugers were under cooked and over cooked and the service was extremely slow so that was disappointing but overall its a great hotel with more pluses than minus.

Just back from a three night stay and it was amazing from start to finish, such a great and clean hotel, rooms were amazing, staff so accertive and friendly, the food was beautiful and the spread that you get for breakfast was amazing and even down to having Nutella for the children which I usually have to take with me for my little girl… swimming pool was first class too, never got to try the spa yet though but will next time… Will definitely be booking to come back again, thanks Radisson blu.

Fantastic hotel surrounded by some great scenery and filled with friendly, helpful staff. My partner made good use of the spa and found the experience faultless. I deferred to waiting in the bar which has a nice ambience and again had some very cool staff. The hotel room itself was replete with a MASSIVE and very comfortable bed and was well laid out. Special shout out to Sean, Jonas and Ruth from myself for making it such a great stay. My partner insists (rightly) that I also commend Sinead in the Spa for offering such a relaxing all round experience. You can tell they have pride in this hotel/spa and want to ensure patrons have the best possible experience. We shall no doubt be back again in the future :)

From our first contact we Denise we knew we were in safe hands. The whole way through the build up to the day Denise was on hand to answer any questions and offer sound advice, nothing was too much. On our wedding day the team were fantastic, Seamus, Martina, Aisling, Joe and all of the staff run a slick operation. Aisling even sowed my bustle button back on to my dress after it snapped. We had our drinks reception in the sun on the decking. The meal was beautiful and the venue was set up exactly as we requested. Half of our guests travelled from England for the weekend. They experienced a true irish welcome and were so impressed with the friendliness, attention and professionalism they received from everyone they dealt with.
We originally booked to have our wedding with a another local venue which caused nothing but stress and tears. The day decided to change our venue to the Radisson was the first day we experienced how a business should operate and we felt instantly assured with Denise. It was the best decision we made. Thank you again to all the staff at the Radisson Blu for helping to make our day so special. Booking the Radisson for your wedding is a no brainer.

Beautiful hotel in a relaxed picturesque setting. Fab views at the front of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is really good and buffet style. Definitely coming back.

Stunning location for a wedding. Lovely staff, fab building. This hotel isn't cheap and the location is outside Sligo town. The views are amazing. However, the hotel lacks any imagination when it comes to vegetarian food. I was promised something "exciting" for dinner and got a very poor Thai curry that left me starving an hour later. How a cup of rice and a few slices of pepper is meant to keep you going for a whole Irish wedding I have no idea. Bad form, chef!

Stayed here for my friends hen. Customer service was amazing. Rooms lovely and clean and spacious. Used the spa as part of the package. It was lovely but the fitting rooms were a bit on the small side if you had a big party using it. Bit that would be be the only small gripe is have :)

Great hotel with amazing amenities. Brought a group of 35 here, and dinner service was a bit bizarre but otherwise a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful location. Easy to walk along the coast of Sligo Bay from here, so good location. Short cab ride to Rosses Point, too.

Best hotel all around. Had our wedding there on 5.5.18 and every comment from guests was that the place is top for service, friendliness, attention to details, athmosphere and can do attitude. Can't thank the Radisson staff enough for an unreal day.

5 stars just isn’t enough From the minute we booked our wedding Denise & the whole team were absolutely amazing, keeping us right, reminding us of things we might have overlooked, adding special touches to what was the most fantastic day of our lives. We never had to worry about a thing because we trusted that the team had it all under control. Our guests raved about the service on the day & the attention to detail. We knew we could sit back & relax and enjoy our day. We can’t praise them or thank them enough.

This Hotel has become better and better every year. Staff in the Bar Restaurant and Leisure centre couldn’t be more professional and accommodating. Menu is progressive with a wide variety … bar food is great value for money and very large portions. And the staff in the leisure centre are excellent at giving advice and offering assistance with the various machines. Being a local I am not able to rate the rooms!

Well appointed rooms. This Works luxury toiletries pleasant addition. View from room to side of building overlooks bulidings but affords glimpse of sea although we didn't spend much time looking out window and considering fabulous offer this was a minor issue. We travelled as two couples and were given connecting rooms which was perfect for pre dinner drinks. Fridge, wine glasses, ice bucket (ice machine beside lift), kettle, decent size cups all provided. A couple of suggestions. There was no water provided in rooms and no shop nearby to purchase. And the coffee in the restaurant was a bit harsh. Overall a lovely place to stay. Staff extremely helpful and likeable.

Nice hotel with plenty of facilities from spa to events room to meeting rooms, etc. The interior looks tired in places and needs a revamp. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Parking facilities are plenty. Prices are average for a nights stay for this area.

This hotel is exceptional! The staff were all amazing from the moment we entered to the time we left. The food was exquisite, would highly recommend this hotel. The leisure centre was spectacular with the most amazing staff also. We will definitely be returning for a visit in the very near future. Thank you to all.

Well what can I say, I got married here in Feb, and omg the hotel staff were excellent, it was a amazing day, they really do deserve 5stars, the rooms were immaculate, its the one hotel they just couldn't do enough for u, the food was fab excellent, everyone loved it, said it was amazing, the way they decorated for weddings etc absolute fab, thank u Radisson hotel for all ye did, highly recommend.

When checking in I told the receptionist (i think her name was Patricia) how I had forgotten my suitcase in Donegal and even though it was 9:30 at night, we had to drive back down for it as we were stayin the 2 nights and I needed it. We couldn't believe it when she said she would upgrade us to a new room for our troubles and true to her word she did. This was a lovely gesture and the room was top class. Thank you Patricia The staff and the food here is lovely. We will definitly be back.

Stayed here in March 2018. The hotel is very nice. Both the restaurant and the pub grub are very good. A 5 minute drive from the centre of Sligo and there are lots of other hidden places to visit a short drive from the hotel. All the facilities in the hotel are very good also.

A great place for a family to stay and reasonable as well we will definitely be going back great restaurant with very friendly staff and an excellent pool and spa the room was very comfortable had everything you'd need.

The rooms are great, the food is good and bar is uninviting and like a airport's waiting room but overall a good hotel.

Stayed here for two days recently with family. Hotel rooms are very spacious, modern and clean. Great facilities — my little girl loved the swimming pool and we spent a few hours each day there! Breakfast was very nice too with great selections. Ant staff we dealt with were also nice and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.

Health spa very very nice, electric car charging on site big bonus. Rooms ok size but with great amenities, fridge, kettle, wine glasses etc in room. All the little touch's like the shoe polisher in the hall make it a very nice hotel. Not quite in Sligo itself but close enough with a car, 10 minute drive. Would recommend, looks like a nice destination in itself with the health spa and great facilities and grounds for events weddings etc.

Brilliant place. Friendly staff that couldnt do enough. Restaurant is great. Best fillet steak ever. I mean ever. Breakfast was great every morning. Wish I was there now.

Would not recommend. Disturbed at 2am by staff due to a "noise complaint", I wouldn't mind but I had been sound asleep. Not so much as an apology or anything. Very disappointed.

Great hotel. Highlights were the gluten free corner at breakfast well stocked and labelled with bread, granola, rice cakes. Supplied a gluten free toaster too. The lemon balm water was fantastic!

From a transport point, a hotel that is easily accessible about 10 km west of downtown Sligo. Good parking possible. Quiet hotel, comfortable beds, leisure area.
Full full breakfast, a W. Continental or Irish.

Mini-moon nightmare Sligo is the beautiful country we got engaged in so we returned for our honeymoon, albeit for only 1 night, Monday 18th. Apon arrival after all the hype of the wedding on Saturday we were looking forward to relaxation, what we got was faulty towers. After the receptionist told us we had been upgraded to a suite we told her this was good as this was our honeymoon — her response was to ignore us. We soon discovered the downside to the suite. I have broken our stay down to 4 categories, starting with the reason for any stars at all.

Room and breakfast was good. Air con was pretty annoying. Swimmingpool and sauna area could be kept in a better condition.

Just spent two nights in radisson at my daughters wedding it was the most organised and relaxed experience I had. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They did everything to make the wedding and day a very memorable one… the food was excellent fresh hot and very well organised. I could find no fault with my experience and my family and friends were extremely impressed Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my daughters wedding one to remember.

Lovely room, stayed with my wife and 2 daughters. When we checked in we were upgraded to a business class room, which was very spacious and ideal for a family. Bed very comfortable. Fiona at reception was very helpful and supportive when needed. Food good, great choice for breakfast.

Fabulous hotel, great food in the restaurant nice selection of wines, good selection of drinks and food bites at the bar, rooms spacious clean and tidy, spa service exceptional and at last nice size of swimming pool with sauna and Jacuzzi. So if you think of booking just do it.

Room was fine. Bed great. Shower so so. But the food was very disappointing. We were in a large group eating from the bar menu Sunday lunch. My sirloin steak (€25! ) Supposed to be medium was done to shoe leather. Wifes quinoa salad (€12.50) was almost devoid of its declared main ingredient. Other people in the group had similar concerns. Overall very disappointed. Won't be ordering food here again.

Got here for a wedding and it was amazing. The staff are fantastic and the food was specular. I cannot say enough good things about my experience here.

The staff were very friendly, there was a gym and a swimming pool, the rooms felt a bit old fashioned but there were a lot of facilities and almost anything you could need: an iron, shoe shine, spare beds on request, wardrobes and other facilities you may need while staying in a hotel. Breakfast was great, it was a buffet. I ate so much! Other than that, a great hotel.

One of my favourite hotels within Ireland. Staff are exemplary, from the moment you walk in the front door you are always greeted with a fab welcome. (I wish other Radisson's would take note of the management and style that you get each and every time) Food in the any of the restaurants is fantastic, even breakfast in the morning is wow (especially main resturant) I cannot recommend high enough, plus you are only a stone throw away from Rosses point. 5* all the way.

Have only had lunch in the bar area and it was nice. Standard menu burgers, fish ect. But all tasty. Can get busy and noisy at peak times and I had on more than one occasion the staff forget about me. It's also a bit pricey for a average fish and chips or burgers or whatever so I guess that's why I only give it three stars. It's more a last resort place for lunch than a can't wait to go place.

We enjoyed ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent, pool was a bit small (18m) but there was a dedicated lane and the gym was excellent.

We had a number of problems during our stay and they really could have put us off the weekend, but the staff at reception were perfect. They addressed all of the issues as best they could in a fast and professional manner. I dropped the star because it was an extremely busy weekend and the care and attention of the bar staff didn't match the reception staff. We were left waiting to order, items were put down heavily on the tables and usual follow up questions like offering condiments with food didn't happen.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. Great staff, great food, & great value. Four of us stayed here as one was celebrating her Birthday. Because of this four little treats & a lovely note from the hotel were left in our rooms. The staff were brillant so friendly polite & helpful. We had a fabulous dinner and our Waiter went out of his way to choose a nice wine for us. We have never seen such a choice of food for breakfast. Our rooms had a lovely view and were extremely comfortable. This is a magnificant hotel and we would highly recommend it. We will be back.

Ahhhh what can I say — MAGNIFICENT. From the room with the sea view, to the staff in ALL departments — Fabulous! A special thank you to Scott and Lisa at Front desk, so warm and friendly — very accomadating. The chef who surprised me with my birthday dessert, the food here is divine, such good quality and cooked to perfection. Most of all to lovly Vicky — the massage was out of this world. Brillant. My request when I come back is only Vicky for my massage — the girl knows her craft (skilled) and with such a lovly personality. One thing is for sure the staff here go the extra mile to make your stay pleasurable and memorable. Always with a smile and the hotel is beautiful. Friendly, welcoming, stunning, brillant, fantastic, amazing — thanks guys — you made it a perfect stay. 5 Stars and more See you soon x.

Loved the stay here. The Wi-Fi was a bit dodgy but that's nothing to worry about. It's in a lovely location and the food was great.

It was a great hotel to stay in and I stay again.

My wife and I went there for our honeymoon a number of years ago. Because she booked in, we were known as Mr and Mrs maiden name for the whole of our stay. The first time I was addressed correctly was when we were checking out! The food was excellent apart from the night we had both ordered steak. We received all our sides promptly, but waited another 20 mins for our meat. On receiving our steaks we requested French Fries as the sides were now cold, only to be told that it would not be possible as the kitchen could not cope! We refused to pay for that meal! Potentially a very good hotel. But major language difficulties. Major communication difficulties. And a front of house staff who seemed not to care.

Great hotel, nice rooms. But 4.5 stars because of non existent Wi-Fi, it has free Wi-Fi but could not connect due to slowness.

Lovely views, very close to Sligo town.

The location is excellent and the service of the staff was warm and friendly (for the most part). Overall it lacked the quality and personal touches one might associate with a privately owned hotel and suffered from the sameness of a chain who have done little to consider the local market. A little bit disappointing but a fine choice for a base to explore the area.
