Peten Hotels with a Pool

As part of our trip around Guatemala, this hotel was a highlight.
The rooms are clean and well air conditioned. Staff is extremely friendly — especially Elmer, our breakfast waiter.

Fabulous location, with our room actually over the lagoon. Extremely private setting. Great nature viewing from our back deck as well as the path outside our door.

Awesome! Perfect place to stay a few nights. Just 45 mins to Tikal, if you want to Visit.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Having breakfast and dinner included was a great touch, and the food was surprisingly good given it’s included.

Not sure why previous reviews are so concerned about screw hole locations and moulding edges… my wife and I just spent 4 days at Hotel Tepeu and couldnt have been happier with our choice.

This is a luxury hotel on the outside. The pool and common areas are lush and plentiful.
It is clean and safe.

The hotel is nice. The location is good as it is in the heart of Flores. However for Tikal, I’d recommend to stay in Tikal rather than Flores, as the drive is more than one hour.

We did not stay here, but came to meet our shuttle to Tikal. We ate breakfast at the restaurant while we waited, which was delicious.

This was another really good hotel from the "Hotel Villa" series of hotels in Guatemala. It has some really good aspects, particularly the dining areas looking over the lagoon.

We loved this place! A real treat for New Years.
The hotel is amazing and secluded with beautiful lake views (look out for Juancho the crocodile).
The pools are perfect and kept super clean.

We loved our time here so much. It’s a bit like living in a jungle tree house, with beautiful views of the lake. My niece and nephew (4 & 6) loved the little pool to play in and cool down.

Exceptional place. We’ve spent Christmas Eve there and guys were absolutely amazing! The garden and terrace were a place where you would love to spend the whole time.

OK, if you want a tranquil location with great hosts, watching the Belize world go by you cannot go wrong here.

I didnt stay here but ate the best fresh fried fish — " pescado Blanco "in Guatemala and the fries were devine, Uber was our waiter and he was friendly and attentive, great food and placexto stop by

This is the second rime we stayed at this place. This time it was for 3 nights. First we had bungalow 7 with pool view, but the toilet didn't flush so they gave us the next day.

Our family stayed for 2 nights and had a great experience. Check-in was easy and quick. Our room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable.

I absolutely recommend this hotel. Staff is super friendly, hotel is beautiful and rooms are clean. Location is much quieter than Flores yet near enough of everything.

Large, clean rooms around a central courtyard. Comfy beds with high quality bedding/linens. Air con worked well, or you can rely on the ceiling fan. Didn't really need either at night in November.

Wonderful. We loved it. Private area on a great lake. We toured Tikal and then came back and swam until late after noon. Shoreline was great and with kayaks and lounge chair at the ready.

First time staying in Hotel La Casona del Lago great area near the airport, Flores and Tikal.

This location has a pristine look and overlooks the lake. It is very minimalistic and facilitates conferences and business persons. The spacious rooms and restaurant makes you feel free of clutter.

My three friends and I stayed at Las Luciernagas for three nights, and it was absolutely wonderful. Our room was very spacious, the bathroom was very clean, the beds were comfy and the AC was cold!

We booked through Airbnb and even we didn't have pits, pans etc we had an amazing stay!

Hotel Casona de la Isla in Flores was a charming place to stay. The best part is definitely the location, is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and right by the lake.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They offer a trip to the Tikal for 223 Q. With a guide. They provide a small sandwich with 2 candies, a cookie, and a banana. No water, no coffee.

A good place for the price. Excellent location due that they have parking. There is no parking in the island of Flores. Easy access to Flores. A 5 min walk across the bridge.

Great location—just Dodge Tuk Tuks to get across the bridge to the island, or if you’re feeling fancy, Burger King and the mall are right beside it (royalty and retail therapy in one go).

Great spot in Flores. Across the road from the lake. Has a small pool. Window coverings did not work in our room. Felt safe. Waterfront bars go late — 3 am at least.

Freshly renovated hotel with small but decent rooms. Small swimming pool. Nice terraces in each floor overlooking the lake — especially attractive during sunset hours. Everything clean and nice.

Comfortable hotel, very well located in the busiest part of Flores. Simple but adequate rooms.

The hotel is perfectly located to the islands layout. Maybe a bit to perfect because there is a busy street outside and lot of loud music from the nearby restaurant, bars.

Fine! Clean room with roomservice and coffee and toast available. Sometimes a bit noisy and no window, but kind people!

Loved this hotel! We stayed one night, our room was clean, cool and comfortable. In the morning you are provided some free breakfast to make toast and coffee. The hotel staff are lovely!

My congratulations to acienda san Vicente as it is an excellent place to enjoy a good atmosphere) and good service for. To be able to relax a little and very good attention.

We stayed in the “Hostel” side — shared bathrooms were perfectly acceptable, nothing fancy, but that’s to be expected. Rooms were good, temperature was reasonable.

Not sure why there are so many 1 and 2 star reviews — we had an amazing time here! The hostel rooms are private and have close access to a shared bathroom which is cleaned regularly & very spacious.

I had a great experience here and would come back. Only stayed 1 night but they were very helpful and the girls at the front spoke very good English. Right on the water. Felt safe inside the compound.
