Beautiful place, great food and excellent service!

Everything about this hotel is 5 stars: the facilities, the amenities, the rooms, the attention of all the staff. It's definitely worth the price you pay, it's a place to disconnect from the noisy, polluted world we live in on a daily basis. We hope to return soon.

Beautiful nature reserve with wonderful touches such and cabins over the lagoon and jacuzzi tubs in the rooms. Wonderful food and awesome staff. Very welcoming!

What a beautiful, kind relaxing place to be. The view itself is breath taking, and the food is exquisite! I seen creatures ice never seen before, and I would spend my last time to come here again.

Cannot recommend highly enough. The staff is attentive to your every need; almost before you even say anything. The setting is unreal. It is the most beautiful and lush part of the jungle around Flores/Peten, with a private lagoon. Each of the private bungalows have a jacuzzi and sunroom that overlook the lagoon. I’ve never been more relaxed! The nature trails, animal preserve, and monkey rehab island give you the best experiences/hiking of the surrounding jungle without having to leave the property. The owner, who is clearly fabulously wealthy, has chosen to use his resources to perfectly preserve the land and culture that he loves. In addition to buying the land around the lagoon, he has curated an outstanding collection of Mayan antiquities in the form of a museum on the property that is really outstanding. It feels good to know that staying at the hotel helps to support these efforts. We will surely be back.

Everything! First their niceness. Everyone was so nice to us. Service was great all the time.
The hotel is incredibly beautiful, comfortable, luxurious… peaceful.
There are many things to do just inside the hotel. A money island tour, the sp, the reserve… they offer tours to any attraction.
They have an impressive museum with a great collection of Mayan artifacts!
Didn’t have time to try the spa but will do next time.

Went for our honeymoon 6 years ago just after it opened. It was spectacular and we can't wait to go back there!

Las Lagunas is an incredible, natural retreat. It is a privilege to spend time here with staff who are so proud and dedicated to protecting and sharing their stunning natural environment.
Who could forget Margarita? The Queen Spider Monkey who has shrugged her rescued status to guide your complimentary boat trip on the lagoon.
It’s not everyday you wake to howler monkeys, hundreds of bird species, that herald the dawn for guests, jaguars, pumas, and crocodiles that live here too.
Oh, and yes the rooms are peaceful and beautiful but there is much more to this place than material comforts.

Long overdue, I stayed here April 2017 and can honestly say that it couldn’t have been a better experience. A long day hiking through Tikal caused us to arrive extremely late, and upon arrival the staff was waiting and ridiculously friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with fresh cold drinks and made to feel like royalty. The room was a suite on the edge of the lake with a private hot tub, insanely soft beds, and a shower I wish I could have taken home with me. Room service was still available despite the time and wasn’t necessarily a 5 Star meal but was delicious and quickly arrived. Watching the sunrise from the private patio was a beautiful experience. I couldn’t possibly recommend Las Lagunas more. If you find yourself near Flores and don’t stay here, you’re missing out.

Paradise. I stayed two nights this past week and it was out of this world. From the moment we arrived until we left. The staff 5 star plus. The property is beautiful, so much peace, staff always two steps ahead of us on what we needed or wanted. Food was great and tours were so detail and trusted people. Rooms were beautiful. Can't say more than priceless. I give this place 10 stars out of 5. I will defensively be back to check other Mayan places. Thank you everyone from Las Lagunas for making me and my family feel so great in the middle of the jungle.

WOOOW! This is the hotel with bungalows based in the water so the scenery you get from the window of your room is amazing. They offer lovely food and the views from the restaurant are stunning. The swimming pool that this hotel have is gorgeus too. They have so many ammenities and one of them is like a little zoo. Its an amazing and luxurious accommodation.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in! Everything about this place is just amazing. Engulfed in nature and away from the noises of the city, but the hotel itself very modern. The staff is wonderful! Very attentive and remember your name to create a connection and build trust in them and the hotel. The pool is BEAUTIFUL! never seen anything like it!
The room we stayed in was beautiful! With a deck and a built in personal Jacuzzi, overlooking the lake, just breathtaking. I came here with my wife to celebrate our anniversary, and asked if they could include roses as a surprise. It included chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. The way they decorated was wonderfully done!
The food here is exquisite! And delicious! Pricier then other places, but I'm not complaining.
They have so many activities that you can partake, one of the things I love about this place. Many hotels don't have much to offer, but this Hotel… you will never have a dull day! I highly recommend going to this hotel, I could go on about the things and the people that make this place so wonderful!

I have stayed here three times and each time has been incredible. The staff here is wonderfully attentive and remembered me and my preferences (I'm a vegetarian) from one visit to the next. The restaurant is very good. There is a mix of traditional Guatemalan food and other menu choices. I highly recommend the gazpacho soup for a light lunch. The bungalows are beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, and have views of the lagoon. I took advantage of the recently opened spa to take a steam sauna and get a massage. I loved the private outdoor shower! The spa is right on the property and rivals those I've been to in San Francisco. And I also recommend the museum that opened this week. Its collection of Mayan artifacts surpasses those in the museums in Guatemala City. I will be back!

So romantic place! I had so special and magic moments there! Try a boat to a monkey Island! It was unbelievable unforgettable experience!

Wow, they made me and my fathers time here a wonderful one. The rooms were beautiful and the service was exquisite. I would reccommend any family to come here! The pool and view of the lake is gorgeous. Go to Monkey Island it is included with your stay at the hotel! The monkeys hopped on our boat I couldn't believe it they were so cute! I want to go back one day and I plan on it since my father and I had such a great experience here!

This by far has been one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. And I am including thr beautiful hotels in Europe which I stayed at a few years back.
