Cheap Hotels in Peten

After having visited and stayed in numerous hotels in Guatemala, this has by far been the best experience.

We loved the monkeys colony up in the trees!
Ideally situated for a visit to both Tikal and Flores. Super kind and helpful personnel!

We loved our time here so much. It’s a bit like living in a jungle tree house, with beautiful views of the lake. My niece and nephew (4 & 6) loved the little pool to play in and cool down.

Exceptional place. We’ve spent Christmas Eve there and guys were absolutely amazing! The garden and terrace were a place where you would love to spend the whole time.

What an amazing hotel! I ended up staying there 5 nights, it was hard to leave.

Humberto is a very chill and helpful host. The beds are comfortabel and the rooms clean. He informed us wel how to get to Flores and Tikal. Very reliable and relax location.

This is a good option in Flores.

I loved this place! I stayed in the AC King Room, and it felt beyond luxury after being in Guatemala for a couple weeks. Having the restaurant downstairs is such an added bonus!

Small stay at Alice's (2 nights), our timing imposing it. And it was very pleasant! We are a family of travelers (backpacks) of 5 with 3 children. We all loved it! Very good food.

The place is fantastic, the attention of Natali and Dimitri is 10/10, if you are looking for a nice experience recommend place.

Hotel staff was awesome, beautiful and peaceful location. Cabina was comfortable and had a great view of the lake.

Had a wonderful stay here, the hostess is lovely and very welcoming! The rooms are spacious and the outdoor kitchen is great and has all the basics.

Great little place to stay while exploring Tikal and yaxha. Much closer to everything than Flores. Very comfortable beds, mosquito nets and a warm shower.

We stayed at mon ami for 2 nights. The staff and owner were so welcoming and helpful.

If you are visiting, Tikal or Flores or just want to go to the lake Peten Itza this is a great spot!

I have a great night at this hotel I recommend this place to any one, very clean and the food is great I stay here at this hotel very quality time.

Lovely hostel with lovely staff who went above and beyond for us. The air conditioning is really good in the rooms and there is a hot water which is hard to find in hostels in Central America.

Great memories from this place. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Comfortable big beds and everything very clean.

Budget hotel, generally good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, basic but comfortable. Some early morning noise from the staff, and the bathroom/toilet is quite narrow.

ROOM — large, king-size bed room with double aspect windows and balcony with panoramic view of lake with gorgeous sunset, air con, shelves / hanging space, shower/ bath ensuite, TV, fridge.

Just at the entrance of Isla Flores. Spacious rooms, With AC. Just infront of the lake beside are locals that sell food.

Great A/C, comfy beds and pillows, would have been a 5 star review but they are sneaky with their Lancha service pricing.

We accidentally booked the wrong time but the man from the reception was super nice and offered us the same room for the same price that night. He was very helpful!

Comfortable hotel, very well located in the busiest part of Flores. Simple but adequate rooms.

The hotel is perfectly located to the islands layout. Maybe a bit to perfect because there is a busy street outside and lot of loud music from the nearby restaurant, bars.

They do printing service there, we printed a few documents for our transfer to Belize for 2 quetzales a paper.

I stayed here for two nights in a third-floor room facing the street. The room was very clean, had two beds, a private bathroom, and hot water (which needed to be turned on).

Great value for money and a very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and always helpful. I felt very welcome and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

It's just your average posada. Decent place to stay if you're on a budget or if you need somewhere to crash during layover. Excellent location. Check-in staff was friendly and efficient.

The hostel is really well located. The kitchen is great and well equipped and the common areas are nice. The rooms are clean and the bed are comfy.

Beautiful view, right in front of the Lake. Great customer service with very nice employees. Has open space to hang out and make friends.

Lavanderia (laundry) was 35qz for a small bag. Wasn't the cleanest job but dropped off at 9am and picked up at 230pm. Quick and easy.

Stayed and caught the public bus to Tikal NP.
Rooms were clean and well presented.

We stayed for two nights at Casa de Don David and it was a relieve to stay here. Clean rooms with airconditioning and a good shower.
Wi-Fi availability was good.

One of the best place to stay If you are in Flores. The Manager Mr. Josef who is also a Guide, is an excellent human being who will help you and guide you to see places surrounding Flores.

Great place to stay, perfect location and lovely ac rooms. Josef the manager helped us with everything including all of our travel and excursions.
