PROS: social hostel. Amenities are really good. Rooftop is an amazing place to socialize. The tours are really worth it. Staff was very friendly and helpful, specially Marta, Mayu, Mario and Irwin!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. The location is great for visiting La Floresta and Carolina and you can easily get a bus or taxi to the historical centre.

The service here was brilliant — the workers are lovely and always on hand for whatever you need. The breakfasts also were brilliant with lots of choice.

The attendant showed us to our room. Great size. Had a balcony, little table and chairs also. Highly recommend. Close to Calderon Park.

We stayed here while we were on a vision mission; performing eye exams and giving glasses away. The hotel is newly remodeled with a pleasant breakfast area on the 6th floor.

Very nice traditional Spanish nobility room, modern bath, super view of Plaza Santo Domingo, located in the historic center, clean, a bit cold but it has bathrobes and good blankets.

This is an interesting place to stay which is a good value and at a great location for visiting the old town sites. Breakfast was really great too!

I went there for a program. The place was really beautiful. The electricity in the city was off but their plants were working. I didn't even notice that they didn't have light.

Brandon is the best front desk guy ever we had such a great stay here and were so grateful for all of the staff.

His rooms were good, but they had no ventilation in them or no air conditioning in them making it feel very enclosed and stuffy.

This was a lovely stay that felt very safe and had a beautiful view. We stayed in the honeymoon suit, where we had a panoramic view of Quito. It was beautiful during the day and during the night.

Hotel San Francisco was right where we wanted to be, downtown in the colonial section with the ability to walk to the squares.

I had a great stay at Hostal La Guayunga. Adriana at the reception was amazing — super helpful, warm, and always made everything easy. Lily, the chef, was also great.

Top floor corner rooms are obviously the best for panoramic views. Their hotel restaurant is a splendid place for lunch or dinner!

We stayed for 3 days in this small family owned boutique hotel, which is located in downtown Cuenca.
Everything was superlative, especially the person service of the hotel owner and his staff.

Everything was perfect. The place is very beautiful, old colonial style building and rooms, very particular and charming. Each room has its own design/painting.

Stayed in January 2024. Arrived late and was welcomed with a smile. Rooms are comfortable and quiet since mine looked out into the closed inner lobby.

I loved this place! First time in Ecuador and was with a group from my university. Beautiful old Spanish mansion and large, comfortable and clean rooms. They did my laundry for $1 a pound.

This is an old historic building, the room had a table, chair, clothes, storage, a toilet and shower with hot water. The hotel staff were extremely nice and accommodating, and helpful.

It’s central from a lot of things and we had an easy time getting around. The hotel manager was very gracious in accommodating our midnight flight arrival.

It is a bit noisy, and without an elevator but the location is worth it. Good breakfast and great atmosphere.
