My experience at Hotel Cuenca was good overall. The place is clean and everything works well, but the style of the building is a bit old. I would have liked more natural light in the room to make it feel warmer and more comfortable.
The service can also improve, especially the receptionist at night. He was polite, but not very warm or welcoming, so it felt a bit cold.
On the other hand, the breakfast was really nice. The food was delicious and the waiters were very kind and helpful — they gave great service.
In conclusion, Hotel Cuenca gives a nice experience, but there are small details that could make it even better.
Did not like the place. Bed was uncomfortable, no smoke detector in room. A leak in the sink which I advise housekeeping and got fixed. A bit noisy, but, it was carnival time and their were family with kids.

Great value for the quality of the room and outstanding service. The included breakfast is great but the rest of the food was mediocre. The location is great if you want to be in the city center, but otherwise not good. Bad parking options. Cool game room on the main floor.
