Hotels in Sierra with Breakfast

Stayed in January 2024. Arrived late and was welcomed with a smile. Rooms are comfortable and quiet since mine looked out into the closed inner lobby.

I loved this place! First time in Ecuador and was with a group from my university. Beautiful old Spanish mansion and large, comfortable and clean rooms. They did my laundry for $1 a pound.

What a friendly hotel this is! The owners allowed us to store our motorcycles here for 4 days while we went to the Amazon, even though we only spent one night here.

This place is just awesome!
The location is perfect to explore Quito, a lot of great restaurants, a laundry and a big supermarket are nearby.
They serve a great breakfast.

We stayed for one night and the manager at night was so helpful and friendly with sorting out a problem we had — really appreciate your service 😊 room was also lovely and clean.

It was such a nice colonial house with vintage settings but remodeled facilities. Bed was very comfy and the beddings felt very high quality compared with other hostels I stayed.

The service was always excellent and I really liked the location. I would return.

An excellent place, the building is very nice and comfortable.

Had a lovely time at Hostal History. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, relaxed then I would definitely go here. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was great.

It's a great location right next to the Historical Centre and also the bus station Marin close by.
The room was bigger than expected with a triple bed, that was great.

It would be very hard for me to list all the things to love about staying with Sole and her family. I lucked out — I got an upstairs room, so that I was able to interact with the family every day.

From the moment I arrived at the property, I felt at home. The room was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is modern with a shower that had really good water pressure and hot water.

If you are going to Cuenca, Please Stay Here. Starting with Mr Tony, very respectful Host, Open to talk and give recomendations about Cuenca and almost everything and everywhere in Ecuador.

I recently stayed at this hostel in Cuenca the first week of September 2025, and while the accommodations were simple and straightforward, it was the exceptional service from the owner and manager,

LOVED staying at this hotel. Amazing staff, great room and a really cozy area!

After a disappointing stay at Casa Andino, we moved across the street to Hotel Rincón Escandinavo, and the difference was immediate.

Lovely people very accommodating but the showers could be slightly better. Amazing breakfast at good price. Comfy and good open spaces with a pool table that was highly used. Good location.

Good sized en-suite room with a very comfortable bed, kept very clean, like a cosy cave, hides the city noise within the pleasant courtyard (Quito can be very loud), and good to explore each side of

Divine, we stayed 3 years ago or so in this hotel and we were treated excellent 💚

Wonderful place, to stay, and inside El Santhorno, cafeteria where you can try the best empanadas, prepared by chef Francisco Larco, All highly recommended👏👏👌❤

Beautiful place. It transports us to other times. Central location in Quito. And an amazing empanadas bar…

This is a beautiful boutique hotel, tasteful decor in a sort of colonial style quirky, spacious rooms, comfortable large beds. Lovely dinning area and bar as well as pretty Gardens.

I've stayed with my wife in this very nice hotel for 1 night, eventually extending our stay for 5 nights!

We had a great stay at this hotel. It has a great location within walking distance to all the main attractions in Cuenca.

Lovely B&B with very friendly, helpful staff in a fantastic location.

Fernando was the best guide we could have hoped for. He led us to safe, fun, experiences and made our stay perfect. What a wonderful part of Quito, and part of Ecuador. Gran Mariscal es muy mejor.

Excellent service, attentive and friendly, always attentive to the guest, impeccable rooms, 100% recommended.
