Best hotel staff I've ever met! Restaurant didnt have half their menu items for the week I was there, but staff were eager to solve any other issues that arose and were so helpful in booking us transportation, tours, and making recommendations.

It is a comfortable hotel that is located next to Guapulo, when it is clear you can appreciate a spectacular landscape. The service is good especially the Buffet breakfasts and their polite staff. The bad news is that the rooms overlooking Guapulo do not have thick curtains and the sun in the morning hits you in mere face, and do not order cocktails with liquor that is a theft, they give you a juice that supposedly has liquor and does not taste anything and minimum charge you 7 dollars.

The only detail to be corrected, is the intensity of light to be able to appreciate the beauty of the night scenery of the valleys, good attention and very good products.

Small but very good. Rooms are not new but very neat and the staff is quite nice and professional. The breakfast is varied and included in the hotel rate. The menu in the restaurant is very good and the quality of the ingredients is remarkable. Perhaps only the TV at the rooms is yet too small for the current one available today. The view from the restaurant and some of the rooms is awesome.

A very nice place with always cordial attention the buffet breakfast is super full and the view of the Solarium of the Guapulo Valley is spectacular. Just one less star because of the complicated parking.

Nice hotel about 45 minutes taxi $25 from the airport. We arrived at night and leave early in the morning. The hotel is located on a mountain side with what I assume would be a grate view. Big king size bed and fast Wi-Fi.

The best is the view of the Salor dining room. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. Four stars to be next to the lookout, but the interior is 3

Love this small hotel in Guapulo on a hill overlooking a valley to the west of Quito with a spectacular view. Affordable & includes breakfast. Rooms & beds are roomy & comfortable but baths are a bit dated. Quiet area, close to everything.

The location over looks a valley and is adjacent to a park for children. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was buffet style. The suite we stayed in was very clean and had everything you could need including a washer and dryer.

It is a rustic cabin, very nice and cozy to spend a relaxing weekend.

The taste of food, very friendly staff excellent and have private transportation for guests, it's very good I recommend it.

It is a very complete hotel has everything you need in the suites and the view of Guápulo is incredible. Its restaurant has a great variety of food to enjoy.

Stay in suites, is worthwhile. It has a wonderful view. There are times that you can touch the mist. The suites have kitchen, pots, medium refrigerator, almost everything to live. Very comfortable and people interested in serving you.

A good place to stay in Quito. Good service, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, some with a view towards Guápulo. They also have event rooms. It's in a pretty crowded area.

The views are phenomenal. You must call to book and tell them you want a room with a view.

The bed is extremely comfortable, the room and the bathroom are beautiful and spacious. The staff is no longer pleasant. The view is nice. We chose this property to make us happy on our last night in Ecuador and were pleased with our choice. Public transport is about a 15 minute walk (not far but climbing).

A nice hotel on the hill… Staff was very friendly. The only problem was that the scheduled 6am breakfast started at 6:20 or 6:30 both mornings when I was there. Thus, I had to miss it : (

Easy to access, good views, at the edge of the east side of the city so getting from/to the airport in a small car is a bit easier.

The worst place to eat in Quito, there are people the service is bad and worst of all is that they are not supplied by the food on offer.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING THIS HOTEL! This hotel is overbooking their rooms by advertising low prices on websites such as Expedia. I booked a room here and received an email confirmation that specifically said: "****Please note Hotel will need to collect payment, unable to prepay***" They did not honor that reservation. When I arrived at the hotel, they claimed that my company's credit card did not go through, therefore there were no rooms left. They then booked me at a neighboring hotel with a rate 50% higher and nowhere near as nice as the picture of the room I had booked. I was told this is not the first time Stubel Hotel and Suites in Ecuador does this — there is in my opinion a pattern of "Bait and Switch. " Avoid this place at all costs.

Made the confirmed reservation through Expedia. Told them by phone that we would arrive early in the morning around 2:30 a. M. Because our friend's flight did not arrive at the new Quito Airport until 1 a. M. Took a cab to the hotel and on arrival was told that there were no rooms and the booking had been canceled that morning because of a credit card issue. Consequently had to find another room in another far more expensive hotel. On investigation found that the hotel claimed the credit card had been declined. American Express Platinum card told me no inquiry was made and certainly nothing was or should have been declined. Expedia were worse than useless and basically said this was between me and the hotel. I was never notified of anything despite the reservation having phone numbers and an email address. My advice is not to put any trust whatsoever in this hotel.
