High price DKK 2, 800 for a night. Old and tired — room too hot and could only open window onto noisy main road. No tea bags in room and when asked for some they brought one and only had powered creamer unless I paid room service for small amount of milk!

This hostel is was on walking distance from Main train station and I didn't find any difficulty to locate and commute. They give card chip keys and ensures that no outsider enter into the facility. They also have lockers and it gives peace of mind that your luggage and valuables are secure. Rooms were Tidy and calmn. Every bed has its own privacy (curtain) and a lamp. The Staff was very humble and polite. Evening activity was very live, the living room was cozy and comfortable. Although a bit small. Pl However I didn't impress with bath room. Overall it was fabulous experience.

A nightmare dirty hostel with bed bugs. A six-weeks travel in Europe was ruined with this low quality hostel. They didn't take the bed bugs problem seriously. They didn't even take a look into the room, seemed like they knew there were bed bugs but they didn't care to solve the problem.

Its realy Nice hôtel and confortable. Near to thé train station to go thé the aéroport. Near to thé center.

Decent price and great location, very close to Central station. Unfortunately, they only accept cash, there's an ATM outside. Washrooms were clean and nicely kept. Despite the clean sheets we were given the pillow and blanket smelt pretty strongly of sweat from previous guests. They also do bike rentals for 110DDK a day.

Perfect Location, friendly and very communicative staff. The rooms were tight, in a 3-story, a little uncomfortable. But good price to be Copenhagen.

I never had a chance to stay in this hostel, but still I consider it proper to mention it. The story is, I came with a friend to Copenhagen for Easter holidays, but reserve in this hostel we have entered into force in a few days, and on holidays as it is known in Copenhagen to find a free accommodation very, very difficult. But the administrator of the institution entered our position and began to call all hotels and hostels Copenhagen to find us a free room or at least a bunk and he did find what we were looking for I personally thank him. Next time when I plan to stay in this city will definitely stay in this hostel, which all other tourists strongly recommend!

Bed bug infested. No compensation were offered. No discount, no refund. Just changed bed to the one next to it.

One of my favorite hostels I've visited. The staff was warm and welcoming. I liked the curtains on the bed, and the dining room hangout area. The downside was the showers were not very easy to use without a real place to put clothes or supplies. Other than that it was in a great central location walking distance to all things to see in Copenhagen!

I’m surprised to read the 5stars comments, while I did experience below; -20 beds in a room but one wall hanger with 4 hooks only, where will the other 16 hang their jackets? -One small size fridge for almost 50 bed hostel. -Kitchen not allowed to use (excuse is it’s small) only a kettle and a microwave in service. So you can dine here only with ready cooked food. -Beds are 3 deg, between the degs no room (maybe 50-60 cm) I don’t remember how many times I hit my head to upper one while going in my bed and out, changing clothes, taking on boots… -This is the funniest; you have to put your bedcovers on, by yourself (including pillow and blanket cover) than before checkout, you have to take them off -Everywhere in this city (even at public toilets) you can use credit card but not at this hostel! -There is one shower room with 3 cabinets inside, where the girls (mostly) don’t feel comfortable to take shower when others also do. The cabinet is enough to dress and undress but of course it takes time to get dry, so u will just need to stay in the cabinet to dry for putting on your clothing.

This is a lovely but extremely small hostel. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere of the hostel is very relaxed. There is showers, bathrooms, hair dryers, etc. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Excellent location, just outside the central station. It is in good condition and in the rooms there are personal lockers, although there are many people per room and this is small.

Wonderful place! The receptionists are the nicest, funniest people, very talkative and interesting. The beds are nice and the duvets are super comfortable. I slept in the 8 people room and was very comfortable. The hostel feels very homey and cosy, and they have cool board games you can play in the shared room and get to know other guests. The atmosphere is great, and I highly recommend it! Also, basically located 30 seconds from the central train station, so you don't have to carry your stuff around for long haha. My only advise would be to book a bit early. The place is usually fully booked by the evening, I was pretty lucky to get a bed when I booked in the morning of my stay. Others that came to check of it's available around 1600 were not as lucky…

In the dorm room you won't sleep on a bunk of 2 but in a bunk of 3. Very misleading if you saw the pictures on their website. There is too little space and too hot because there is no ventilation system. There are only 3 showers and 2 toilets, but that's enough for all the visitors. You can only pay in cash and they still need to know your credit card details. You need to give your passport of something else for deposit, but this isn't stored securely. Only the location is practical.

I stayed in a room with WAAAY too many beds and people. I felt like a sardine. It seemed like it was originally two rooms but they took out the wall and made one big room and filled the room wall-to-wall three beds high. And it was super smelly and there are only two windows on one side of the room and only the people by those windows have access to them. To top it off, there were only two toilets for the entire hostel… The showers were not well lit and I think that was so we couldn’t clearly see the floors. I also didn’t like that we had to pay per bag to store our luggage after check-out. I visited my friend’s hostel nearby and I would have rather stayed there…

Right outside central station… Impossible not to find! Helpful staff. Good clean facilities. Ideal place to meet fellow travellers. Beds had curtains which gave more privacy than you expect from a hostel. Will return in the future!

The staff have been very warm, helpful, and accommodating. The hostel was easy to find and is extremely clean. I'd stay longer, but I booked a bed too late and will have to spend nights at another location.

Quite possibly the worst hostel I’ve ever been in and that’s saying a lot since I’ve be traveling around Europe for the past 3 months. There are only 2 bathrooms (which are always dirty), older showers (which are also dirty), and you can only pay by cash for the rooms. Rooms reak of mold and mildew. Only good thing is location.

Cute hostel very close to Centrale Station and City. Staff was nice rand rooms were Clean. The showers are Clean but small and work very badly. Weirdly the beds and power sockets were wet propably due to the curtains on the bed which were pretty and nice for privacy and light protection.

The beds are very comfy here with decent fluffy duvets, sockets and a light in each bunk, and sheets giving you privacy, although they are very small being 3 bunked not 2, which does not give you enough room to even sit up. The staff were friendly, the place was clean and due to it being small it was not too busy. There is always someone in the bar area to talk to. The showers are small but they do the trick. If you're looking for luxury this is not the place, but if you're happy with friendly and functional then this a good start.

An affordable hostel right next to the central train station and in the down town of the city. There are night clubs near by and shops, department stores, movie theater, the Tivoli gardens are all within a walking distance. The service is average but you can buy an all you can eat breakfast right at the hostel.

It was very easy to prepay for the hostel. The bunks were private, with a sheet covering the side away from the wall. New sheets were provided daily, and the staff was beyond capable. They served drinks at the bar, and the atmosphere was alive and young in the common area. The dorm rooms were very quiet and peaceful. Showers are available, but don't rely on getting laundry done here. They wash a lot of sheets.

The checkout is made from 7 AM and retain the passport of whoever has booked. A horrible and unpractical system. Well located (opposite the train station) and cheap.

The service and attention has been excellent. Cleanliness is correct. The only negative point is that they usually require an official document (driving meat, DNI or passport) as bail for the key.

It's a cozy atmosphere thanks to it being small in terms of how much people it can host. They have breakfast, a bar (without alcoholic drinks) and laundry service — for a fee. The lockers are regularly big, with enough space to hold your most important items. However, because the hostel is trying to maximize its capacity, the bunk beds are three-storied. In my case, being in the bottom bunk was only for sleeping and with no space to even sit down.

A place to go back… The best of Copenhagen especially the human John a groso besides very nice the place. If I did not pass by hostess did not go to Copenhagen.

Great hostel. Staff are friendly and have great suggestions on where to explore in the city. Common area, showers, and bathrooms are all very clean and well maintained. The only reason I wouldn't stay here again was because of bed bugs. Check your bed for bugs.

Only reason I wouldn't give this hostel 4 stars is the shower room. It's so small and the floor constantly being wet just makes it feel dirty. That's the only negative! Everything else was fantastic! Beds are awesome because they are very private with your own socket and light! Good use of space, location, very quiet. The vibe just feels good! Friendly staff.

The proximity of this hostel to the Copenhagen Central Station was the primary draw for me, but upon arrival I was impressed with the cleanliness and overall quality of the space. It's fairly quiet, people go to bed early and sleep in late, and it never experienced noisiness during the night. The breakfast is meager for the cost, but there is a bakery just down the street that was fine for me. The staff was friendly and helpful and the beds, rooms, and bathrooms were clean. There are only three showers and two bathrooms which doesn't seem like much but it wasn't ever a problem. Overall, I would recommend it to a friend.

Warm hosts. Very comfy beds. Perfect location. Really bad an amazing experience here. Make sure to reserve in advance. It's popular. Only downside was low water pressure in shower. Worth it.

Nice place. Quite expensive by European standards but cheap to be in the center of Copenhagen. Special furnishing, a cross between "rustic" and "recycled". Only negative: there are only two bathrooms (mixed) around the top floor one bedroom with three showers and washing machines.

It has a super location, one is immediately to all of the sights and the railway station! the sanitary facilities were relatively clean. 2 toilets are but little for 38 beds.

It's Copenhagen, very expensive for a hostel but You can have the best privacy You can ask there, even in a roo of 6 beds with Your own light and power plug. Breakfast is not cheap, I would recommend to go to the bakery near the central station, on the right leaving the hostel.

Good hostel and a reasonable price. Nice people, too. After 4 nights as a tourist, I like this location: close to the attractions downtown, but also good access to less expensive food and services to the south. Quiet, too.

I had an excellent stay (5 nights, 4 days), my first time in Copenhagen. The hostel is just a few steps from the main railway station and only 2 minutes from where the long-distance busses stop. Every bunk had a privacy-curtain, making it very comfortable to sleep even in the larger rooms. The following comments aren't meant as negativity but as a 'head's up' for those seeking a bed: the hostel is up one flight of stairs — no elevator. There's bunkbeds where the top bed might be a bit hard to get into if you don't have full use of all your limbs. They're quite high, because of the generous headroom of the lower bunk and the storage space below that, but the ladder is very sturdy and firmly attached. I had to stand on my toes to even see in the top bunk bed. Awesome use of the generous ceiling height. I could sit on my knees on the top bunk and my head didn't touch the ceiling. It is a hostel — bring ear plugs and if necessary, an eye mask if you have trouble sleeping in the same room as someone snoring or using the reading light. The privacy curtains don't screen out light. Common room and staff were awesome, very cozy and lots of people to chat to. And the brownies for sale are awesome! Important tip: pre-book! Staff had to turn so many people away, even in what is the off-season, because they were fully booked.

The hostel is great, highly recommended, and if I return to Copenhagen I'll go there again. It is downtown, is the cheapest, is very clean, bed curtains give you privacy and staff is charming.

Copenhagen Backpackers Hostel is a perfect place for a traveler who enjoys great atmosphere, a welcoming and friendly staff and a good location to explore the city. A very cozy hostel which will make your stay in Copenhagen something to remember. The best hostel I have ever been to. I wish this hostel all the best in the future.

Great hostel with clean facilities and right next to the train station! Each bed had a curtain and a private light and outlet! However, there were only 2 toilets for the whole hostel and it didn't have the best hostel culture I've ever experienced. However it was a good value for the money and we had a good stay there.

Very friendly stuff, clean, reasonable prices for rooms and things at the bar, best place a person can imagine, cozy lobby, nice music, I just can't find the words to describe how happy I was with your hostel :).

What a great place. Friendly staff and very cozy rooms and bar. Even that is't a very new place it already has lots and lots of atmosphere. And the location right next to central station is just great. I sleep here again next time.
