Hotel nice and very good service.

This hotel is conveniently located close to downtown Copenhagen. It was fully booked when I went, which should be telling about its popularity/quality (? ) I was expecting small lodgings in Europe, but the room exceeded my expectations. Although small, everything was very nice and clean from the beds and sheets to the bathroom. Only thing I can complain about the room itself is the shower, which was quite shallow and forced you to shower quickly. Then there was the breakfast, which was extremely delicious! Lots of choices and nice service. Overall I had a good experience at this hotel, with a star taken off for comfort, but that should be expected for a hotel of this price. Recommend if you want to stay near downtown Copenhagen!

Needs improvement, both in terms of cleanliness and services. Breakfast is limited in variety though fresh and tasty. The hotel position is excellent (by central station, the city centre and main sites) and quiet enough.

The room was great, nice compact bathroom but the lack of internet is a big deal for me. Everything is good but if you want to have internet to chill or to work while you stay in Copenhagen, find another place. (To be exact, they have Wi-Fi but there no internet connection, rarely you can reach the web but the speed makes it useless) (Edit: I gave 1 star so they can deal with these problem and it will be easier to find this rating for others who also need internet)

Spacious, clean rooms. Receptionists are friendly. Lifts could be safer. Would recommend to people that want to live near the centre.

Centre. Otherwise, a regular hotel with tiny rooms. It's a clean-up.

Good practical spot. I found the rooms to be clean and functional… perhaps a bit dorm like, but very good for the price. Its in a good spot, easy to walk to almost anything of interest.

Very nice and clean Hotel Located in the city centre close to the train station (100 meters), Metro, Tivoli and many other beautiful places. Breakfast is plentiful (an Italian will miss the cappuccino but you can survive! ). Only sin the bathroom. It is clean but the shower leaves to be desired (it's just a tent in the middle bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Good hotel in the center. A few meters from the central station and the pedestrian area.

Room is comfortable, the hotel is within 5 mins walk to Central Copenhagen station. Friendly staff, cozy chill-out reception/lounge area. Secured lift. Had a pleasant stay. Recommendable.

For business trips a great place. Everything is nearby. Staff friendly.

Service is lousy in the breakfast Lounge. We are here with a 7 month old. And at 06.30 I asked for some help with a bowl for our sons porridge and if we could take a coffee up to the rom. He said do you have a voucher?, this restaurant is not part of the hotel! I said, no sorry just the room key. With anger he replied no coffee. But a bowl can you help me with it? Just so you know, it is complementary (did he mean it is mine now? :-) He could just as well sad: but off course you can pay for breakfast and take a codfie with you and I see you soon! That was apparently not and option. This guy should work in the back not in service. He was very rude and obnoxious. But the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Good rooms and good location. But stay away from the breakfast lounge.

The hotel is very well located 1 minute from the center station, crossing the station exits to a gateway to Tivoli and 5 minutes from the town Hall Square.
Breakfast is OK although there is little choice, the room is spacious for three people, has a small cupboard with three shelves and hangers, the only thing that has no doors and room service is fine.
The staff at the front desk are friendly and help you in whatever you need.

Really nice place with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms, located at a prime location. We felt the rooms were a little stuffy with stale air. Suggestion to management: Please upgrade your breakfast options for vegetarians and increase the air flow in the rooms.

I like old buildings in old parts of cities. The Charles close to Tivoli. No complaints. Staff helpful. Overall, good value. I did not eat at hotel.

Terrible hotel. With terrible plumbing. As soon as you open the sink faucet-the whole bathroom in a puddle. The internet is very weak. Breakfast skimpy. Unfriendly staff.

A nice hotel in the heart of the world. Very good prices for both Denmark and the hotel standard. A little noisy in the room near the elevator, but this can be reported in advance when booking. Very close to the tivoli and the central car/train station.

Well located Hotel, next to the Central station with 2 bus lines at the door. Friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are quite fair, the bathroom, with shower and without screen, with a curtain that does not reach the floor and it is flooded in every shower. The room is full of minimoscas and the floor creaks and the walls are somewhat thin. Several TV channels but without any in Spanish. There are no drawers, only shelves but a good number of plugs. Breakfast is €15. It has a decent priced burger restaurant for the area that is.

For now the hotel looks very nice on the outside but does not correspond to the quality inside the rooms and when you shower you wet the whole bathroom.

Fairly basic but ideal for a budget weekend away. The beds are amazing — so comfortable! Friendly helpful staff and the place was clean. My only recommendation would be more disposable cups in the rooms as we kept running out!

Booked through booking the hotel and very close to the station, I recommend the breakfast is buffet and plentiful and good.
The rooms are clean and warm as well as the bathrooms.

Good service, we took a quadruple room with breakfast included, at the end the room is quite in the standard the staff friendly, and as throughout Copenhagen speaks English.

Clean, tidy room. Warm, very comfy bed — slept well. Great location, reasonable price. Would highly recommend!

Room room, cigarettes that hangs between the two windows… Very disturbing smell of food. The dilapidated bathroom with a broken sink.
The staff of the hotel is ok but those of the restsurant a disaster! Arrived 10 minutes late, we finally did not take our lunch and nothing at all was left to us. EVIDEMMEMT no negotiation possible, aggressive staff! I would never come back here and I would not advise this place to anyone who reads this present!

The hotel was quite nice and the location very good for a drink and dinner. It was a bit strange though that the reception withheld an amount from my debit card "in case of any expenses for the mini bar", especially since they was no mini bar at the room… It was also the first time that I heard something like that. Also, the woman taking our vouchers for the breakfast could be a bit more polite and say "thank you" for example.

Centrally situated a hundred metres from the central railways station. There are several hotels, bars and clubs just within walking distance. The area is frequently used for a night out. Prices are reasonable.

Very nice, clean and well organized. Right in the centre, within walking distance of Central Station and Copenhagen city centre. The breakfast Recommended.

The hotel is cheap and it is in a comfortable area of the city. It is close to many minimarkets, the central Station and Tivoli. The rooms are nice and suitable for the price, basically Ikea. The bathroom did not satisfy me because it is really small it is poorly defined. The shower enclosure is floor level with a curtain. Otherwise it's OK.

Hotel in a great location for the city visit, other positive side breakfast plentiful and varied. Quite old rooms and bathrooms from ristruttirare, cleanliness is at the limit of sufficiency.

Room was small but serviceable. The location was super close to the train station (and fairly reasonably priced for that) so it made a good jumping off point for sightseeing. Breakfast was great and had a lot of options, though one morning we did have to wait to be able to get the breakfast buffet because they were packed.

Clean with great beds — really comfortable. Good size room too. Breakfast was OK. The location is pretty good. Was quite expensive but that's Scandinavia for you.

Bathroom totally moldy funny smell is in the room and in bathroom otherwise reception and breakfast above average and location right at the train station.

Very good food, comfortable beds, manicured rooms and daily room cleaning. It is good that to be near the station and most importantly in the evening near the hotel always remove an inexpensive prostitute. The hotel is suitable for both tourism and business travel.

Simple hotel, but contrary to its own description there is no associated parking. Hair in the shower of the predecessor must also not be. Overall but quite new and pleasant.

It is an ideal urban hotel for a visit to Copenhagen. Super close to the central station, the Tivoli, and through the gate pass different buses.

Good quality tourist hotel. Basic room, clean and nicely presented. Good continental breakfast selection, with friendly, helpful staff. Free Wi-Fi needs some speed increases to be usable.

Very good placed. Next to the center and right behind the train station. The rooms are very little fournitured. Even not glasses to put your toothbrush in the bathroom. Bathroom is very small. They did not clean our room on the second day. We could not put the heating on.

I've forgotten the phone charger in the room, after double checking I didn't have it in the luggage, I came back to the hotel, but they didn't find it. It was in the room but it disappeared. Never happened to me such bad experience in a hotel so far.

Beautiful hotel rooms, pity only for the shower too cramped even for a small child. Service is good but one day they skipped my room.

Absolutely horrendous! The bathroom was too small and when you take a shower the shower curtain doesn't stop the water from being splashed everywhere because it was too short. Every time anyone would take a shower there would be a giant puddle on the floor. The handle for the shower was also broken which made it difficult to use. It was also hard to sleep because it was so noisy outside. The worst thing that happened was on the last day when I woke up and I found a worm in my bed! DO NOT COME HERE!

Beautiful and is well situated so you can walk to the beautiful places in Copenhagen.

Everything was perfect. Location is very good. Better than the real centre. Because close to the train station and the other areas. Breakfast was very delicious and rich, when you think of the money you pay for it. The staff was very helpful and warm. The room was clean and the space was more than enough.

The location is good, and its customer service is great. However, the bathroom is way too small (the shower didn't even have a wall! ), the beds are extremely uncomfortable and rooms are very tight. They say it is kid friendly however the surrounding of the hotel is not so be careful!

Two stars at best. A bit small rooms, especially top floor. Breakfast was the same thing every day and almost every day "soft boiled eggs" we're soft only by name — either hard boiled or not cooked enough. Juices were the most watered down things I've ever tried. Wifi access is almost nonexistent. The stuff has problems with most basic things (I've spent almost an hour waiting in the lobby for the payment to be processed). The area might get a bit loud at night, especially when it's warm outside and you have to open the windows to survive the heat.
If you can stomach all that the location will be a big plus — about 150m from the København Central might be just the thing you're looking for.

The room was spacious but the bathroom&toilet so oldschool. Having trouble to flush the toilet. The good side, we really enjoy the firework from tivoli garden which we can view from our room :)

I like the location in city center and near train station … the hotel was simple and clean.

This hotel is ok but not more. The check in procedure is I guess complicated as it takes forever to check in. There were lines the whole time. The room was adequate but not more. Not enough sockets to charge phone and computer etc. The bathroom was a joke. Was like a mini wardrobe. Shower curtain was the type that wants to wrap itself around you when having a shower. Disgusting. Hand soap dispenser was faulty. There was a funky smell in the room and corridors. Breakfast was good and the breakfast staff very friendly.

This hotel has an excellent location and helpful staff. Though it's not particularly luxurious, it is clean, well maintained, welcoming to families and lone tourists. It was a pleasure staying there.

I was been here three times. Very close to the central station, clean, comfortable, great breakfast. No high level room but right quality /cost.

Great value for the money. Wi-Fi good in lobby. Not so good in the rooms. Take the stairs. Elevator best experienced as an amusement ride.

It is not a superior quality hotel with many facilities, but okay for it's price. It has a good location, and is near the central trainstation. The room was okay, and the breakfast too. Not the biggest selection though. The hotel has a nice backyard.

My Swedish employee really enjoyed her stay at Copenhagen Star. Very central and great service was her remarks. I will for sure choose it again for my other foreign employees when they are in Copenhagen.

It is certainly not for VIPs. But nothing is missing, clean comfortable heating clean.

Breakfeast is quite simple (not as one picture shows :) ). Rooms are functional but 15 years old, especially bathroom. You should have ear plugs to sleep well (some rooms had double windows, ours didn't. ).
