Reviews of Urban House Copenhagen 2*
Very clean rooms, super friendly staff, perfectly located. Again and again!
A real cool place to hang out with friends and family… very helpful staffs… experience of staying in for two days was too comfortable. Hope the breakfast menu would be a bit more…
Great hostel. The room is clean and absolutely reasonable for the price range. In the lowest area there is a great bar, a great area to relax with table football, kitchen, washing machines and TV room. The location is absolutely great in the pub district and close to the train station. Here I would book again and again.
Great place. Very warm atmosphere. Main rail road station. 2 minutes.
Perfect position, amazing friendly and profesional staff, great prices, really enjoyed my staying.
Fantasticly placed hotel. U wont find better for the price. Very friendly staff.
A large hostel that is not able to set up a refund (or even credit) system for people who have already booked but do not fit into their Covid-19 policy. Very disappointing where other, smaller hostels are much more understanding and accommodating… as they say in their email, their objective is not to lose money! I had booked in June, we can only re-book before April 30th of the following year… and we should know the date before our initial trip… when we are studying, we don't have the dates for internships or holidays yet… simply disgusting!
It's the WORST hostel' service experience I'd ever have! The reaction of this on COVID-19 said a lot!
NO refunds! NO OFFER to change dates! ALL this hotel chain can do — is to take off money and shut up.
I had a choice of 4 hotels on Booking. Com website and stayed on Urban House Copenhagen by MEININGER because I liked the reviews and photos. My booking was not-refundable, dates were April 9 — April 12.
Denmark closed its borders. My country closed its borders and airports don't work until April 24!
Booking. Com offered to cancel my reservation for FREE, I agreed and accepted FREE cancellation, but by contacting the hotel directly we were refused in refund.
Booking. Com is also keeping the silence.
Why didn't your hostel offer options?
The best world hotel chains like Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott etc offer refunds, REAL FREE cancelations, but you don’t.
I will never advise your hostel and the whole hotel chain. Return my money.
Sadly my holiday was cancelled with us in lockdown in the Uk, disappointed Urban House show no flexibility in this climate — hard earned money lost through no fault of our own. Other hotel and venues were much more accommodating — feel very disappointed.
Good beer, really friendly staff, good atmosphere and reasonably priced for being in the capital city. Will definitely pop in again.
Perfect. I loved everything about it. Clean and beautiful. Good room.
Fantastic blend of hostel & hotel. Great location tops it off.
I had so much fun here! My first hostel experience. I will come back next time in Copenhagen. Great location. I got my first tattoo at Wisdomless. Amazing work.
I recommend urban house for d perfect location, room hygiene and friendly stuff.
Great place with kids, good breakfast.
Really upset about the situation that one of their staff came to me and told me that I must leave the lobby and go back to my room within 20 minutes because they are closing the bar and the lounge.
I argued that:
1. I am neither staying at the bar nor the lounge, Where I am staying is the check in desk which is supposed to be open for 24 hours.
2. Am I occupying any of their computers for check in? NO. As you can see in the picture, there are only three computers on the table; I am just occupying a small corner of the table with my laptop, it’s an EMPTY area.
3. Am I in anyone’s way or blocking the aisle, the exit, or anything? No. It’s a place against the wall and the window.
Then I looked around, there are still loads of people in the lobby, but this guy only come to my friend (who’s preparing to leave by that time) and me… But he still insisted that I should leave within 20 minutes.
This is UNBELIEVABLE! Because of my job, and my love for traveling, I have been to more than 20 countries, more than 50 cities either working or traveling; this is the very first place I live that a guest cannot stay in its lobby. By the way, this is also the very first time for me to write a review on the internet, because I am too angry to hold it.
I don’t want to jump to the conclusion too fast that it is racist, but I couldn’t help to feel the treatment for the only Asians in the lobby (as what I've seen by that time. ) really unfair.
Good place, good mood.
Clean and confortable, very well located near Central Station.
Rooms quite small, the shower's door are not perfect… But you neb get stay in the room for a long time, so… Recommended!
Clean and tidy, nice common spaces, and very friendly staff! Recommended.
Super friendly staff — had some questions about checking in at 1, and getting access to the room at 3. The lovely people from the reception/bar took their time to explain politely how it all works. One of the hallmarks of the place was the easy-to-go attitude of the people working here — they’ll always answer your questions in a polite and delicate manner. The rooms are neat and pleasant. Definitely, worth the money! If you get the chance — don’t miss it! Especially, with all the amenities this place have to offer. Totally, worth the money and time. Beside that, there’s always some interesting people to meet here — the true feel of a (n) (un) controlled adventure!
Good rooms, good location, good price! you get your code online so no need to check in at the desk. My one issue is that I booked to stay in a female-only dorm, and there was a man staying there. I didn’t mind it too much, just wasn’t what was advertised. Staff were polite and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!
The central station is no more than two minutes on foot. The location is highly suitable for a traveler who intends to visit ALL in Copenhagen in particular and Denmark in general.
The room was clean and nice, comfortable beds and furniture location. The only thing I would add is a dryer for laundry, and a solution for the horribly raw floor after a shower is also needed.
In general, everyone liked it — the guys at the reception were friendly and helped with advice. Saturated program in the evenings was also included in the price, as well as a free two-hour tour of the city with Sandman service — people work for a tip, and give away completely — they love Copenhagen, and it is very nice :)
The hotel is nice. Everything looks pretty new and clean. Everything digitalized, no reception, but also not enough signs to figure out things on your own if you really want (still needed to ask someone at the bar about the lockers or the codes for the bathroom) I really didn't like that even though the check out was at 11 am, I got someone in my room twice to let me know I have to leave. At the restaurant, we order cocktails, it took 10 minutes to make one cocktail, even though it wasn't busy at all. On top of that we order a burger, and when we got it, some human hair was there, so we asked for a refund, which was not possible because nobody there knew how to do that. (we paid by card) We had to order something else because of this.
The hostel is conveniently located in close proximity to the main station. The area is quiet and peaceful. Nearby there are shops and bars. A very convenient settlement system. The rooms fit the description, not bad noise insulation. Great internet.
Nice place, rooms are functional, the ground floor sitting space is cozy and they had Grimbergen beer, which was very good. Service was attentive. We stayed for 3 nights and had absolutely no problems. Location is great, close to the central train and bus stations. Only problem was that it was unbearably warm for end July although it's unseasonal for this part of the world. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place!
Staying at Urban House was quite a pleasant experience. It was nice to have a lively atmosphere provided by the bar, common room, kitchen, etc. The rooms with 10 beds were quite packed when all beds were taken and having only one bathroom between us was an issue at times. However the beds were comfortable and large windows provided sufficient ventilation. Locker storage for luggage was good but would've preferred a luggage room like in other hotels/hostels so we wouldn't have to pay. Really liked not having to check out of the room when leaving with the code system. Overall the stay at Urban House was functional and pleasant… Can't complain when paying just £25 a night with a place as welcoming as Urban House.
Great stay for the price I got, with really few drawbacks. I've been in a lot of hostels, so I wasn't surprised that the guests have to do there own beds, but it may shock hotel clienteles. Location is excellent, facilities (laundry…) are great. However, due to its huge size, things get really non-social. While in small hostel you can socialize juste by staying in the common room or in the kitchen, there is so much people here that sometime you don't even get a smile. Good place for groups, difficult for solo travelers that want to meet peoples.
I stayed for two nights in Urban House, and I couldn't ask for more. It was the best staying experience. Everything was perfect. It is highly recommended for anyone traveling alone or in a group, family or friends. I liked the human-less check-in/check-out system very much. It's at a stone's throw from the Central station.
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Urban House is very clean and tidy. In a really convenient spot and only a short walk from Copenhagen Central station. If you’ve forgotten your wall adapter to charge your electronics, you can borrow one from reception! And if you have anything you need to print, like a boarding pass for example, they’ll print that out for you :) it’s a great place to start a free walking tour in the morning and meet people.

Good burgers and in the happy hour they go out well in price the beers;) ;)
The décor, the ambiance, the people are a great place to stay in Copenhagen at a good price and very close to the central station.
The rates are the most interesting of all the city, which is located in the Center! brilliant!
Excellent hostel in the center of Copenhagen so many services available, even for leisure. Convenient for touring the city and from the Central station A Stone's throw from the Tivoli garden.
We had a great stay in your vibrant, happy hotel. The hotel was clean & had all the facilities we required, as advertised. The hotel's location was close to several transport links & handily close to town. It was an absolute joy to to eat & drink in the bar area & we were particularly thankful that vegans were catered for. We didn't want to leave & have already booked another stay. We're at the older end of the clientele that were using the hotel (a lot older)! but felt very much at home & enjoyed meeting the younger staff & clientele. We loved every minute of our stay.
Its been a short trip and I was okay. Was staying in a mixed 8-person-dorm. Would rather stay in a female smaller room, with a maximum of 4 people. The mattress was over used and need to be replaced. But for the stay of 2 nights it was tolerable. Nice rooms and a lobby to chill and spend time together. Good dining but breakfast: too much plastic! Good to reach from the train station and the attractions around there.
A lot of young people. Fast food possible. TV, BILLIARDS BABYfoot chest to drop off his belongings. International atmosphere several languages speak at the same time.
Pros: — Location is very convenient — Very clean and spacious bathrooms. — Beds are comfortable, sheets are soft. — Nice common areas, especially the kitchen (even though a toaster would do! ) Cons: — I get the necessity to have a self check-in and I do understand the whole "who needs a reception" concept, but it does make things a bit impersonal. — Bottom bunk bed very sensitive to movements of top bed sleeper. — Dorms are a bit too small. — Drinks at the bar are at or even above market price, should have been cheaper for residents.
The hostel is a short walk from the station where you can reach the most interesting attractions in a very short time. I stayed in the dorm where housekeeping was done daily and the communal kitchen is really convenient. Overall it was a nice experience and a nice relaxing place to stay.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Urban House. I've stayed at a few hostels, so I'm hip to the whole process. I have nothing bad at all to say about my stay there. The aesthetic of the lobby, and bar are very cool. The restaurant and food was delicious. The staff was engaging, friendly and helpful with providing sightseeing locations. My bunk (room) was clean, and comfortable. The best part was the location of the Urban House. Not far at all to Copenhagen Central station, and not to far from many of the attractions that brought me to Copenhagen. I had a wonderful stay and recommend this hostel if you find yourself in Copenhagen.
A highly recommended place for ospedarse, especially to go with friends or meet people.
The rooms were very clean and tidy. The common rooms were very well prepared with play areas, dining room or kitchen. The cafeteria inside was pretty well decorated and the service was quite correct.
I would recommend it to 100% if visiting Copenhagen.
The hostel is super, very tidy and the lounges on the ground floor are nice. Only the breakfast could be a little better for the price of 75 DKK.
Ideally located 50m from the train station on the police station, it benefited all the comforts.
The litter is good. It just misses a tablet to put a phone a bottle of water and a book for the top beds.
There is a kitchen, laundry, luggage storage, relaxation rooms, billiards, baby foot, TV room, Brasserie bar (hamburger, sandwiches and salads) and a garden area.
Bike rental convenient and cheaper than the Velib for the day.
Staff very friendly and attentive. Nice team.
The hostel is very large 45 rooms per level and there are 5 levels!
On entering, I was impressed by the size of the places and the number of common rooms. I enjoyed the uniqueness of each room. The food at the restaurant is good and the comfort of the beds is extra. I also appreciated that the common bathroom (the one outside the room) remains very private with walls and doors for every installation.
The hotel professionals are very nice and can communicate perfectly in English and in some cases even in German. Here every question is taken seriously and you always get a polite and also helpful answer. The rooms are in a very clean condition and correspond to the value for money. All in all, this hotel is best recommended for a short trip to Copenhagen!
Very nice hostel. Is located near the central station, from which you can quickly reach both the airport and other points. The hostel itself has everything you need: a shared kitchen, a relaxation area, a bar. We had a room for 4 people with amenities in it (shower, WC, hair dryer). There are common showers.
The kitchen has all the necessary utensils, refrigerators, stove, microwave, kettle.
The best hostels I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Our double room was small but clean. Clean bathroom and towels were provided. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Very nice staff (and entertaining). The kitchen was often full. While we were there some of the other guests were inconsiderate of others (e. G. Didn't make space in the chill out rooms, hogging the kitchen, etc. ) But the hotel cannot be blamed for that. My 4 rating is due to the fact I couldn't change my booking a few hours after my reservation. Really disappointed and lost some money but in the end everything worked out.
Modern hostel, clean, nothing to complain about. The restaurant is pretty good although a bit pricey, but it stays in the city prices.
Good situation, I recommend.
Nice and very clean accommodations. Food and bar have a good variety for those staying in. Staff is helpful. Sandemans picks up people to join a tour right from the lobby which is so convenient. Only down fall is the mattress was a little thin. Overall one of my best hostel experiences ever.
Very comfortable and very young. Excellent location (2 minutes from the station) very friendly staff and always helpful with everyone.
For the rooms they lose a bit. In my room all the beds (room of 4 bunks) squeaked all. Imagine that mess. (one gets used to it) ; The lamps for each bed do not always work. Mine went intermittently for the good rest! Clean and cozy.
But especially the young ispiti, they are very attentive to the structure and to the others. In short, a place thought and dedicated to those who love to travel; Spend little and make new acquaintances.
Beautiful! Very convenient location, 5 minutes walk to Central station. Young and international environment, recreational rooms with billiards, books, table games, self service kitchen where you can cook what you want (as long as you clean up), laundry, cafeteria, all well furnished and comfortable. (Common spaces close at midnight). Quick and easy Check-in with personal code, no need to waste time at the reception. Clean and warm rooms with the essentials, bunk beds with clean sheets, pillow and blanket (to be done of course on your arrival), towels and lockers (with own padlock). Bathroom in the room without a hairdryer. Price per bed (DM 8) approx. 15 Euro per night (Feb. 2018). For short stays like mine is recommended!
I've travelled quite a bit and this has been one of the best hostels I've stayed at so far and worth its high rating. Lots of activity spaces, big kitchen and good rooms. Coming here with a bunch of friends is even more exciting since the games rooms can be a great hangout area for hours. Very close to the main station and bus lines as well as a few good supermarkets. Loved it and highly recommended.
Very cool hostel! Having lived in it a week you start to feel in the house where all around your relatives, friends and in general strangers do not. There are places where you can watch TV, play, read or just chill on a couch or a plush pear. The room is a little tight, but if you travel four, it's the most.
Great location. Nice location. Beds are very comfortable. Room facilities well…
Great accommodation in Copenhagen. I have emailed them couple of times regarding our reservation and they have replied us in just a couple of minutes. We had some extra requests which they fulfilled for us. The only negative thing I would say is that they did not have a hairdryer at the reception when we needed one, maybe we just asked it when all of it was in use. The breakfast was worth the 65 DKK, I can highly recommend to purchase it with the booking. (included: coffee, tea, juice, bread, rolls, ham, chorizo, cheese, eggs, salad muesli, milk, yoghurt, jam, and fruit). Thank you for having us! :)
Comfortable but upgradeable rooms. Being a cheap hostel, many young people with a lot of culture diversity in the common areas and above all respect and conviviality of 10. We are Spanish and we are used to a different timetable.
We loved sleeping here and especially the availability of the dependencies. We stayed three nights and there was no toilet in the rooms, I guess that's what makes it cheap.
The breakfast to take away is wonderful. By €4 you have a bag with a variety of things.
A load of clothes costs €5.
Very nice atmosphere and the décor is beautiful.
Great-looking hostel with very central location, but still on quite a quiet street. I stayed in the hostel for two nights along with my friends and we really appreciated the cleanliness of the room as well as lots of common areas for hanging out or just relaxing. The downside of this hostel, however, is for me its size which I think takes away the feeling of coziness (hygge). Also as the check-in and basically everything is automatised, I felt like the staff members were not very welcoming as if they were not expecting any interactions with the guests of the hostel. I understand that the self check-in computers speed up the process and prevent the queuing of people in front of the check-in desks, but to be honest I would rather wait in a line and increase the chance of meeting new people than finish my check-in in few seconds. Otherwise, it’s a convenient place to stay :)
Cozy place. They have very good service, kitchen, laundry area, many sofas and nice people working. They serve good food at a good price.
This hostel was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! It was also very secure with the lockers they had available and the staff at the front desk are very helpful and knowledgeable, especially for first time visitors like us. The breakfast was pretty good, although we were not familiar with danish breakfast but realized as we continued on the trip that the breakfast was pretty standard across the board. Two things we didn’t know however is that the hostel is located on a street that is known for having hookers! Yikes! There is also a gentleman’s club right below the hotel… neither of these things were an issue but a bit distasteful. The overall location of the hostel was great, although at night it was pretty loud outside.
Computerized practical system. Very good service and staff. Good facilities, always clean.
A hostel that I recommend. Good atmosphere, clean rooms overall. The setting is super nice and the staff speaks perfectly English. The common areas as well as the bar on the ground floor are super nice.
The only negative was the bathroom, although large, it was icy (no heating and under the attic) and the shower barely lukewarm with little pressure.
Hostel with shower and toilet in every room. Great location. Noisy.
Central, clean, comfy and quiet… Surprisingly! We stayed in a double room with bathroom on the first floor. The bed was quite comfortable, the bathroom was a decent size and modern, as was the room. We had a view of the courtyard below top which was nice. The room was very quiet, except for the occasional person stomping by, which I was surprised by because the place is very big and very busy, with a bar down stairs and a big common area which is very noisy, but once you go into the area with the rooms it's very peaceful. This may be different in the warmer months and people are in the courtyard though. All in all, the place was very good for the money, the shared facilities were good, if not sometimes a little crowded and the location is great. Less than 5 minutes walk from Copenhagen Central, and easily within walking distance of all the things to see and do in the city center.
Warm place. Adorable team. Superb and close to the centre.
It is a hostel with many services, environment and clean. The sheets are included and the facilities are clean. There is a communal kitchen, games room, etc. Very good experience.
Central location, nice staff and clean rooms at a top price.
Great hostel in the city centre of Copenhagen. I was in a female only 8 bed room and it was clean and relatively spacious. The rooms have lockers which is very convenient as well as bathrooms. You can also find shower rooms on the third floor. The staff is very helpful And approachable. The location is great making the use of public transportation unnecessary. I would definitely recommend this hostel.
Very centrally located (city center station) … check in online, code for room all comes by email, very practical. Likewise Wi-Fi uncomplicated, just enter email, done. Room with bathroom very clean … Facilities minimalist. Room to the courtyard nice quiet … but when people walk on the hotel aisle … very clairvoyant! Walls also quite thin. Well suited for young people.
Very good value for money. Matches the ad!
Very recent, and the heating works well (practical for winter).
Mind young but fits very well for everyone, even for Grandpa Granny (attention code system for opening doors and you have to use a tablet to retrieve the codes so PAPI Grandma touching a minimum to the technology)
Rooms are equipped with purpose — unfortunately too few toilets in the public area. — staff friendly — breakfast goes fine.
Hotel Siituato is centrally located for a convenient visit to Copenhagen. It is advisable to have breakfast buffet at the cost of 75 kroner, about 10 euros per person, considering that it is also possible to use the kitchen of the complete structure of cookware, plates, glasses and cutlery. Dining and entertainment rooms are also available for the guests.
A beautiful place! Stylish, simple, with a lot of ambience.
Nice enough hostel, clean rooms, and bed linen. Electronic registration: The email comes with a password, which is an electronic key to the entrance door. It saves time. The location is very good. On the ground floor there is a reception, where for extra. You can buy the necessary things to stay, including lock on the closet in the room (! Very uncomfortable that it is not provided at once), also downstairs there is a café.
Of the disadvantages, it is a very dense arrangement of beds in the room, no space.
The place is nice and convenient to the proximity to the central station and the connection to the rest of the city, but the check-in is only from 3pm and being totally automated, in case of problems you don't even have a reception to ask for information. However in general a great place and so I recommend.
Extremely technological hostel, which allows you to have less staff and then lower your prices. The clichés are clean and cozy, the rooms are bare but decorous. Great place to stay in Copenhagen.
Ingenious hostel with comfortable beds and quiet rooms. There are 3 outlets on each bed and lockers for valuables, a padlock you have to bring yourself or can buy it at the reception. Large hip lobby, with music and good bar, adjacent are probably still a laundry room, TV room and garden, but I have not yet been able to look at them. All in all, I would recommend it.
The hostel is quite a step up in quality from what I'm used to in Britain and Germany. It is very clean, the room was even cleaned during our 2 day stay. There is a all you can eat breakfast for 75 dkk, which is worth its money. It's also very close to the central station. Would definitely recommend.
Great for easy social contact. The bar/restaurant/reception area is the perfect place to start conversations and adventures with other travelers. The surrounding neighborhood is nice and access to the city center is an easy 10 minute walk. Rentable storage lockers on the ground floor are convenient and big enough to store hiking packs. The lockers in the rooms could be larger, but will fit plenty of valuable items and small or medium sized packs.
First and foremost this place is a hotel and that's why it gets a two start rating. If I was rating on bar, nightlife and staff it would get a five, but I'm not. I'm looking at what you get, the cleanliness of the rooms and overall experience However, it's also a hostel of sorts so if you're reading this and of the age where you're looking for a hostel, book this place as you'll have a blast. Me, I booked on price and I thought it was going to be different to what I got. But if it was just me in Copenhagen again, is stay here. Just not with family.
Nice place, minimum of communication with the staff, close to the city center.
Good location next to the central station, efficient check in and check out. Nice kitchen with all necessary utensils and a big common area for all to mingle. Dorm is comfortable with enough space. The only downside is it makes a lot of noise. Just pick up a ear block provided free at the reception.
Location top. Right at the train station and you can explore a lot of things on foot or by bike. We had a 2 room the right was small but perfectly fine for a city break. Check-in conveniently via codes you get on your phone. Lockers available to include suitcases if you are there earlier or leave later. Rooms towards the street quite noisy but traceable by the location (bought me earplugs then that was no longer a problem). Pretty expensive but unfortunately normal in Copenhagen. All in all, recommended for a city break. 0
Good location, very clean and safe place. You don't need to check your booking in reception because all the details about the check in are sending to your cellphone. Really nice. You just need to use a code to open your room door. There is a nice bar at the reception where play salsa music every second Wednesday. The only disapointment thing is that the showers don't have an hermetic door and sometimes the water go out that's why I needed to put a towel in the floor to avoid the water swamp the bathroom.
Great location, it's true. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. And we left them open even at night, otherwise it became stifling. Check in 15:00 is also not very convenient in my opinion. But that's all it got to put 4 instead of 5. The room was clean. The room was very old and the bathroom was very old. Clean, comfortable, comfortable, courteous staff and tasty (separately paid) breakfast. In general the stop here definitely corresponds to the price.
Great atmosphere in Vestjubjule, but rooms are paid as card and very dirty toilet on the ground floor, good location near the train station.
Nice and clean hostel in a 5 minute walk from the train station, out of the minuses check in at 15 o'clock but can safely come from 7am there are rooms and lounge area for waiting. Important! When booking the access code to the hotel comes in SMS.
Easy to find just round the corner from central station. You just check yourself in and get a code for entry, easy. Beds are very comfy and the bathrooms are clean. There are plenty of storage lockers in the basement you can use for a reasonable price too.
Gorgeous residences near the train station.
All things are automated, you can check in check out without seeing or meeting one of the staff. All things quite good, but the lugguage locker costs an hour more if you didn't mamage to pick lugguages on time. One thing I am quite disappointed is that I they couldn't help in finding my lost item which I am 100% sure that I left it on my bed after 1 day (since their customer service only operate from Mon to Fri startimg from 9am to 4pm, which is not a good idea)
One of best hotels, good labby, kitchen. Clean and good location. But I think it's a bit expensive thought.
The hostel is very clean and fairly quiet. The room reservation is automated, so you will need to check-in or check-out, but you will receive a code via email with which you can gain access to your room.
Has kitchen, small pub, laundry and recreational area.
Very conveniently located, a few steps from the train station.
It also has a great value!
It might be surprising to see a 1 star rating for such a "fabulous" hostel! Well, I would have rated better had I had a better experience. What Urban House doesn't tell you is that they have 3 rooms, number 10-12 stowed away from the actual place. Maybe it's just a 100m north, but they can't be called a part of the hostel. Secluded, lonesome and anything but a hostel vibe. When I checked in I wouldn't know where they are located — so, had to ask the staff to maybe introduce me to the place and since I've heard so much about it — could you just tell me how and where is everything in the hostel (the facilities, the tatto shop etc! ). Surprisingly, I was told to find my room myself, which is when you walk out and go 100m down the street and to figure the hostel out myself! I felt so welcome, NOT! Then there's the room. I would have given zero stars to the rating had the room not been clean. So, clean sheets, clean toilets — agreed. But, if you need any assistance — you gotta walk out of the building and go back to the actual "Urban House" and ask! With my experience — chances are you'll be told to go figure yourself. No live music where I stayed, no people, no hostel vibe, no game room — nothing 'urban'. I regret my stay there and anyone who gets room 10, 11 and 12 would feel the same. I'd rather book myself a single room and stay alone than stay in the holes of Urban House Room 10-12! "Thanks! "
Great place. Rooms are super clean and spacious. Great location right next to the central train station. Free Wi-Fi.
We had a very pleasant stay despite a 10-bed room ;) you can expect modern and clean beds and bathrooms. The check in and out went flawless and the staff is super friendly. In the cosy lobby was a live concert which we really enjoyed. Thank you so much.
Very well located next to the station. Alternative Hotel. Ambientazo. You will be amazed. Ideal for young people and families. Excellent reception and attention. Congratulations guys.
Fantastic, practical, taking into account that it is a Hostel.
Very cool hostel. One of the best I've ever been to. Bright. Clean. Friendly staff.
Excellent location, very central and very good attention.
We popped in to the bar/cafe for a beer and a hotdog before heading to the airport. This place is perfect for a quick drink and meal before a train journey as it's well located (just 5 minutes from the station), turned food around quickly and had plenty of tables, couches, power points and a big outdoor area for topping up and relaxing before your journey. The chips are delicious. You're missing out if you don't order a portion with your Carlsberg/Tuborg.
After the arrival we went straight to our booked private room (room number and door code via SMS) but there where some other people in there. Obviously they double sold that room for that night. After two annoying hours at the reception desk they guranteed us to give us another room but only in two more hours as they have to clean it first. In the end we had at least our room which was buy the way clean, newly refurbished and quite nice. But the overall experience was very disappointing. Btw. We weren't the only guests with that problem. I counted at least 12 other guests whose room were double booked. Hope they fix that problem for the future.
Easy and friendly atmosphere.
Excellent location, very good bed but. Very soft pillows, has no safety (many cameras but the Friday night got into the hotel and made 2 huge graffiti on both sides of the corridor of the 2nd floor, were responsible for the hotel's), many noises in the morning (construction and cleaning people), microwave broken since the 1st day, cannot be left luggage or changing the hours of check-in/check-out (you have to pull the bags to 16hs or leave them at the train station by kr 60). Okay for a young couple or friends by the price, but would go to another hotel.
Cute just a hotel with no reception and staff. They should advertise more 50% discount on parking facilities in the area: also due to the new metro line across the roadway is revolutionized and parking is not visible.
Good distance and perhaps one of the cheapest solutions in centrum and that shows somehow. But in conclusion: good enough that might even use again.
Perfect location, even if the neighborhood looked a bit dodgy at night. Hotel was everything it promised to be, clean, beds were very comfortable, even the additional ones, ok Wi-Fi. Electronic locks could have worked better, but all the problems were solved rather quickly and without our involvement so who cares. They do charge credit card before check-in, I don't' know if they supposed to. But I would probably stay there again.
OK, may use again. Clean room, electronic booking/access and fair price.
Excellent hotel, right beside the train station. My basic room featured a tub (the only actual shower/tub combo in my Euro trip), hair dryer, giant flatscreen TV, coffee kettle/supplies, microwave and mini fridge. Highly recommended.
The hotel is located only 3 minutes from the train station and 5 min to the Tivoli. No reception. Check in from 16 00, we were there watch at 11 00, a toll free was enough and you turned the room freely. Also the case for a fee in the adjoining restaurant can be kept otherwise. Simple clean facilities. TV programs are not german. Free Internet, otherwise described kitchen annex is only a plastic shelf where heater, microwave and mini refrigerator are available inside. We had booked the family room (2 persons). Should be somewhat larger and have breakfast in the room, for ca 60 DK there is breakfast in the adjoining restaurant (we have saved us) — — as a result, many bars and hotels are nearby, you have at night not much rest. Bicycle rental in the vicinity, you have just cycling through the city. You can reach all attractions on foot. > we would book it again. You want to experience Yes not the hotel but the city.
Nice Hotel in the heart of Copenhagen. Especially the door System is nice as it works key — and cardless. Rooms look good and are quite cheap. Some people might not like that there is no reception in the building, but I don't mind. A Restaurant next door offers a breakfast Buffet for around 70 DKK.
Buen sitio para pasar un par de días y visitar la ciudad, muy céntrico y buen precio
Nice place to spend some days in Copenhagen to visit the city. Is right in the centre of the city and it has a brilliant price.
Excellent situation. It meets and exceeds as announced and at a fair price.
