Ι am generally not the "negative-review" type of person as so far I've had the pleasure to enjoy great traveling experiences and meet great people along the way. I was very excited about my trip to Copenhagen, which would be part of an extended tour of the Nordic countries. When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, I felt that staying home and rescheduling my trip was the right thing to do. I managed to successfully reschedule all my bookings, including flights, train tickets, tours, and accommodation. All but one, COCO hotel. I contacted the property to explain the situation only to receive a dry reply that there was nothing that could be done and that their policy is very "strict". Well, customers have also very strict standards and when they are disappointed they never come back. And they do spread the word… At challenging times, when all over the world experienced hosts review their policies, no matter how "strict" they are, to permit flexibility to their guests, looking after easy profit shows amateurism and responsibility. I feel sorry for you…

Although, the concept is great, they are still finishing the hotel off. This meant that we were put in a room in a builder’s thoroughfare (dirty). Perhaps worse, was the morning wake up call of hammering and drilling from the adjacent room. It was so loud, it sounded like the the drill was going to pop through the wall! Not great for a romantic, festive lie in. When we complained, the response from the receptionist was, “oh, sorry, we’re still doing works; they start at 8; if you had complained before we would have moved you! ” Not sure how we could have predicted such a rookie move. No further apology and no discounts offered, not even off the two glasses of wine we had the preceding evening. So, maybe go only when they have finished building it.

If it was possible I would have given 0. I unferstand that hotel needs to be renovated (because everything from the floor to the roof looks like 100yo), but I don't understand why all the other areas which are not under renovation needs to be so dirty and stinks. Breakfast which costs 100 dkk, it's just scrambled egg made from powder, some bread, two kinds of cheese one ham and granola with milk. That's it. No vegetables, no nothing. If you are vege you are on yhe strong diet there. And last but not least. They have strange key policy and ask you to leave the key at the reception when you go outside, but they don't even ask for your name when you come back. So basicaly everyone could take your key. Strange? This was one of my worst hotel experiences ever. Absolutely not recommended.

Luckily I only slept here one night. Well actually I don't think 'slept' is the right formulation since I stared at the ceiling for most of the time while listening to all the noises that kept me up. The sound of people coughing, using the lavatory, suitcases rolling towards the entrance and not to forget, the construction workers who where fixing the hotel's entrance (they started at 9 am). The room's appearance was what I expected. Too bad someone peed in the corner so the smell was unbearable and made me keep my shoes on. I would not stay here again even if it was free! Breakfast was alright though.

The hotel is completely run down. I cannot understand the positive reviews in any aspect. The corridors are so narrow that you can hardly walk them with a suitcase. The bathroom in the room is mouldy. The windows barely close. The noise of the main road can therefore no longer be placed. The mattresses are permeated. The cooperation is everything, but not helpful. Even if the hotel is cheaper, it is an expensive stay if you can not relax in the room with disgust and noise. I left immediately.

Regrettably stayed here for 3 nights at this poorly maintained and noisy hotel. Asked for a quiet room so were given a room over the central courtyard which is shared with the next door burger joint — no masterful Danish design here. The courtyard also opens to the street so any bums can and do drift in at anytime of night so guests who've paid very good money for their quite unclean room get the bonus of putting up with loud people, music and cigarette smoke drifting into their room all night. Close to a worst ever hotel experience in a supposedly primo Euro country! Extremely disappointing. As an addendum, we were given a quieter room after 2 attempts and 2 dreadful nights so at least some respite but as acknowledged by the generally cheerful staff this hotel has some serious flaws. Let's hope that planned renovations and hopefully room upgrades bring this hotel up to the standard you would expect in a country like Denmark.

The staff were really helpful and diligent. The room was nice, albeit a little bit small and the facilities (closet and table) were not maintained to tip top shape though. The bathroom was very clean and even the floor was heated as well, which was incredible.

Nice hotel right next to the Central Railway Station, thus not far away from the city center with a great amount of shops and affordable restaurants in the neighbourhood. It didn't have the impression of being dirty — however if this hotel wants to keep its standards, it has to be renovated within the next few years indeed.

Funny, funny, Trallala! Arrived at noon, too soon, of course. First of all, we were allowed to store luggage in an extra room. He was funny to look at. Full of pockets and mid-triam a still packed bathtub. Very amusing sight. Since we didn't want to wait until 3 p. M. For the official check in, we're first of all exploring. In the evening then the info, hotel is over bay. Ok! Then sent with luggage across the road to the SAVOY. The next day, the parking ticket was due. The lady at the front desk has solved without any problems. All in all, something like this can always happen. The only important thing is that you don't stand in the rain and we don't have that either. Well solved!

Downtown… Economic… But a little dirty.

Cheap Hotel for Copenhagen. 1a location in terms of gastronomy and accessibility of the railway station. Great breakfast.

A clean and comfortable bell hotel in the city center. With private bathroom difficult to find in the city with this price. Spacious and modern room with LCD TV.

If you don't care much about the "cleanliness" and don't get too fussy with the melted bulbs, stains of all kinds on carpet, furniture something broken, breakfast simple and repetitive, movie Hall of the glow… it's your hotel. Comfortable bed and good soundproofing. Super well located to tour the city. Very friendly staff but only in English. Nearby there is everything to eat and drink. You have several 7eleven, Lidl, Netto, etc.

Cheap Hotel all and that low quality. Breakfast could be better. Maybe for this price range you can find something better.

I stayed for one week and do not recommend the hotel because of 1. Poor house keeping and hygiene 2. Old, dirty and spotty flooring/carpet 3. Unpleasant odors in room and bathroom 4. Reception passive in regard to loud persons, only after calling around 2 am did they ask guests/neighbors outside to be more quite 5. Breakfast area not particularly appealing. 6. Bathroom ventilator works according to set schedule and cannot be controlled — it could be heard even if door is closed 7. I could borrow an umbrella but this seemed to be the exception as I was told that they are for sale. I would have preferred if they were normally lended 8. The bike offered for rental was uncomfortable and small.

— Price too high compared to quality, foul smell in the bathroom (plumbing problem), very dirty carpet, housekeeping not done daily (just the beds are made).
+ pretty well located, friendly staff, comfortable bedding.

Small things like cinnamon buns and fresh fruits what they offer on reception made me feel very welcome.

This is a good hotel to stay in. It's not overly expensive but I would expect to see simple things like a kettle and some tea, coffee etc. In the room for the money I have paid. Other than that it was all good. Close to the city centre, train station and everything else you want to see in Copenhagen.

A decent hotel with affordable rooms and great location. This is not the place for a hygiene-freak, though, as the carpets are stained and the corridors' walls look quite beaten up. The breakfast room is something totally different and has a clean and fresh interior with a great view over the rooftops and the breakfast itself is equally good. The service is nice and friendly and really helpful. The hotel is located in the trendy Vesterbro area and is only a short walk away from the Central Station, Tivoli, and the Rådhusplan. Overall this is a good place for those who look for a decent place to sleep and have a good breakfast that's also close to the centre. If you intend on spending more time in the room, this is not your place.

Clean and nice hotel. Staff was friendly. Great central location.

Room hasn't been cleaned properly — there were hair on bathroom floor, soap stains in sink and brown limescale in toilet. Also — there was nasty smell from toilet pipes, rather unpleasant. Whole bathroom looks like in a hospital, didn't shower without slippers. In the main room there were 3 little lamps and led panel above bed, so whole room was dark when curtains were closed, and there were only 2 sockets for chargers. Windows were facing the entrance where the reataurant was, so in the evenings it was loud. Carpets in the hallway have stains, probably unwashable, but there were also footprints and pieces of paper laying for two days before being cleaned up. Same with a vomit in front of main entrance — laying there whole one night and day. Personel at the reception is really, really nice and helpful, though!

The location is excellent. In walking distance 10 minutes from the railway station and where the hop-on-hop-off-buses start, in not too busy street and with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby, close to Sankt Jørgens lake and park, 7-Eleven kiosk and Irma grocery store just around the corner. This could a great hotel. However, it's not. It is a old and charming building and on first impression it looks nicely renovated and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room though had seen better days. Maybe we were just unlucky with our room or maybe it was because we had booked a non-refundable "pay and regret" economy room. The carpet was stained all over and although we stayed there for three days it was not vacuumed once, judging by the crumbles we left on the first day and that were still there when we left. No AC, but that I can live with. The bathroon fan was noisy, closing the bathroom door helped, but it was turned off during the night, from 9pm until 5am, so the room wasn't even ventilated, making it rather stuffy in the morning. When showering the floor drain would overflow spilling soapy and dirty water all over the bathroom floor, which would then leave the bathroom rather smelly. We did not eat breakfast here, since we thought it was already overpriced without breakfast. I have travelled to many places and stayed at many hotels and this hotel is OK, but not much more than that.

Great location, good rooms, extremely friendly staff.

Rooms are okay. Our shower wasn't cleaned properly when we first got in although they did fix it when we told them. Breakfast is okay. Room is smallish. Otherwise helpful employees. Quite noisy recommend the back of the hotel.

This funky hotel was available in an emergency when I was being discharged from hospital at 1am. Our room was airy, bigger than average Scandinavian size. Refurbished public areas, rooms could do with new carpet. Breakfast more than adequate Scandanavian, with choice of scrambled or soft boiled eggs. Can't express how helpful the staff are, from Samuel who met us at 2am then retrieved our luggage from Zurich at 1am next morning, Nick was helpful as all staff, even maid made up the room quickly one day when I needed to rest. Nothing seemed too much trouble, from Cafes to laundromats! And did I mention location, walking distance from Station and Tivoli, road/path works made life difficult.

Located very close to the train station, well served by buses and good reception.

Quiet and lovely hotel located near Copenhagen Central Station. My room was simple but comfy with a view on an inner courtyard with blossoming trees. Generous and tasty Scandinavian buffet for breakfast on the rooftop of the hotel. The staff is extremely polite, friendly and helpful. If you need something, just ask : they will always be pleased to help you out and give you some advice on must-sees and great spots in the city. Excellent value for money compared to the average accommodation offer available in Copenhagen. I would definitely recommend it to friends and relatives!

Pretty good, but there are places not clean, or poorly repaired. The place does not leave anything to desire on the other hand. In all suitable for a stay of a few days.

The hotel is just right. Wifi wasn't working from my room. Breakfast was below standards. Overall is right for a one night stay.

Home away from home! Such a delightful hotel! Everything you need for a nice stay. The staff is great. They are very friendly en and helpful. Just ask, and they will do their best to make it possible. This is a hotel where I immediately felt at home. I arrived late and went straight to my room. No fuss during check-in. Good bed… I slept very well. Good shower in the morning (no challenges with getting hot water). Free internet access in the rooms. Nice breakfast in the morning. This is a hotel that I recommend and I will use again during future trips to Copenhagen. To the staff at Copenhagen Crown: Thanks for offering a service that immediately makes you feel at home!

Room was a bit small but comfortable. Great frendly staff on reception. Lovely well presented breakfast. Great location for city. Easy transfer from the airport.

Great hotel located in the central area.
It features room tidy and comfortable. Breakfast is served on the top floor, with a chance to see the city from above.

Really good location, nice staff, really clean. The room was really big with really big windows. The price is good and this is a grsat value. The only problem we had was with the toilet and the staff was really helpful to correct the problem. The interior cour is really nice (i love the elephant. I recommend it, and I would return anytime.

Located relatively close to the train station this hotel is new, beds are supercomodas, the bathroom is fine and everything is amazing.
They serve breakfast at the top and it is very nice.
The area may not be the most vibrant in the world, but is close enough to the Center to go strolling to dinner there.
If you get an offer of sale price, if I do not know if it is worth, I think that it would seek another closer to the Center.

I only stayed one night but the impression was positive.

Stayed a few years before the reform which has renovated its rooms and common areas. Then it was already well and provided good breakfasts and a suitable location to move through the Danish capital.
