So here’s my honest review, coming from a foreigner who’s travelled all over the world.
The resort itself is beautiful! Stunning aesthetic! Beautiful pool and set up, the rooms are all 10/10!

The hotel is beautiful and the service is great. The pools and the views are awesome. The food is delicious and very well prepared.

The room suited our needs, but was nothing special. Most people come here for the hummingbirds.

What an amazing 3 days stay my husband and I had! This quaint, very comfortable and welcoming hotel is just what we’ve been looking for.

We had a wonderful experience in Lima Nevada. Despite difficult access by moto, the hotel enjoy a spectacular view on the Minca Valley with Santa Marta and the sea background.

The hotel complex is beautifully designed. Both from the rooms and from the rest of the complex you have a great view of the mountains and the coast.

We had a great stay for one week at Finca La Jorara! The staff are friendly and fantastic, the food is amazing, and the 4 dogs are very sweet (a family of beautiful Rhodesian ridgebacks).

The service is amazing.

I stayed for 4 days in this hotel, it’s very nice and well located. The highlight of this hotel is the staff they all are so nice. I was travelling alone and I felt very safe here. I recommend!

The guy at the front desk was super cool.

Loved this hostel, the main hang out area is great very peaceful, and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable.

Great location but thats also the problem you are in street close to restaurant and bar so its often noisy unfortunately.

Good place, it has everything necessary for accommodation. No that luxury or good, typical 2 stars. Great location close to the best places in Santa Marta.

Loved our stay and felt right at home. Laura was kind and patient with us as we practiced our Spanish. The breakfast was on the beautiful terrace and had many delicious options.

Great hotel in a historic (and very pink! ) building. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was tasty!

This hotel is lovely. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and with the air conditioning and fans on, the room stayed cool and pleasant.

Great hotel, lovely staff, good breakfast. Amazing view from my room and from the roof terrace. The rooms in the old part of the hotel are slightly dated but still very nice.

We loved staying at this hotel, great location, lovely friendly staff and great to have a pool and aircon in the rooms. What a wonderful view of the bay from the top roof terrace!

Our favourite hostel of the trip, Jose makes the hostel feel like a home. I would highly recommend. Great facilities, always offering to help and make sure you are enjoying your stay.

This hostel really surprised me! It has everything you need from a hostel. It’s clean, got a kitchen, pool, lots of chilling spots etc.

It’s a beautiful and quiet place with plenty of space! They have a kitchen, Yoga mats and offer drinking Water. By mototaxi you’r at the river and at the sea very quick. The stuff is great, gracias :)

Delicious food at the restaurant with homemade bbq sauce. Beautiful view, birds singing, minutes from downtown Minca and 20 minutes from Santa Marta.

Nice place to stay on budget, yet there are several issue.
Firstly, there is an amazing view from the terrace, many places around and nice owner which will help you in case there are any problems.

My husband and I love nature and birding, so our stay at El Dorado was spectacular and for sure unforgettable.

This is a totally unique, magical and special place. The views are out of this world.

It's a must. You get to see the toucans. It was amazing. Ask for binoculars and coffee and it's gonna be an amazing morning/day/evening. It's also very social place. Loved it here.

You can see TOUCANS. Suuuuuuch a highlight, there's a nest in the tree close by so you get many chances to see them.

The mirror was missing the stand I placed it on a chair so I could see my whole body view. There wasn't warm water for a comfortable shower I'm not good with cool to cold showers.

The facilities, the maintenance of the pools, the service, the food all excellent.

Simple, inexpensive and social backpacker hostel in a central location in Santa Marta. We stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom — perfectly fine for a short stay in town!

I was only here for a night but impressed with the amount of space and nice facilities this hostel has for a cheap price.

We were meant to stay at casa rosa (which we’d stayed at previously and loved) but unfortunately there was flooding due to thunderstorms.
