This place is out of this world. Seriously, beautiful, clean, lovely staff, friendly, a mixture of travellers, optional organised activities like the most fun retirement resort in the world.

My absolute favourite hotel I have stayed for my trip to Colombia! The views are insane, the staff is soooo friendly, the food is quite good, and the vibe is very social!

Truly an out of world experience at this hotel. The views from the room deck and from the outlook post could not be beat.

A remote and peaceful getaway tucked deep into the jungle. Sounds of monkeys, peacocks and other various wildlife surround you.

Amazing views from the common patio, which has multiple hammocks, friendly dogs and cats, and is large enough to not feel crowded.

I loved the views from El Eden! The sunsets were glorious and the mountain view from the comedor absolutely lovely. I stayed in the dorm and it was luxurious! A lot of space for only 3 beds.

We stayed 4 nights here and loved it.

We stayed here for our honeymoon in August 2023 and it was magical. The glass domes were like nothing I’ve ever experienced — beautiful, modern and environmentally friendly.

Booked 3 nights at Casa Maracuya, ended up staying for 6 nights and I never wanted to leave. This hostel is absolutely perfect for so many reasons.

We stayed for three nights in our campervan and everything was great. Flat pitch, water and electricity. Fast Wi-Fi. Spotless kitchen, toilets and shower facilities. Access to private river.

Great air con, you can have it on all day which is a rarity in the Sierra Nevada area. We were in the basement room but it was spacious and clean for the most part.

Great stay in Minca. Small and family hotel, 3 minutes walk from the center. Has pool and rooftop, breakfast is really good and rooms cleaned daily.

The room suited our needs, but was nothing special. Most people come here for the hummingbirds.

Very cheap, clean and convenient place to stay in Minca. With everything you need within a short walk. The rating reflects what you get on a bang for buck basis.

Super friendly helpful staff. The accommodation is clean and rooms are a good size with mirrors, fans and places to hang your clothes. Our bathroom was on the small side.

My husband and I love nature and birding, so our stay at El Dorado was spectacular and for sure unforgettable.

We had a wonderful experience in Lima Nevada. Despite difficult access by moto, the hotel enjoy a spectacular view on the Minca Valley with Santa Marta and the sea background.

The hotel complex is beautifully designed. Both from the rooms and from the rest of the complex you have a great view of the mountains and the coast.

They are so nice here! John on the coffee and cacao tour was amazing! The pool has a great view and the people are so nice.

Great place to do a coffee/cacao tour (didn’t stay here). Really picturesque pool overlooking the mountains and tour is 30.000 COP including coffee and hot chocolate at end plus use of pool.

Swimming pool and river to cool down.
Walking distance to the village so you have a lot of dining options.

It was amazing. The staff was extra caring, being beso de the river was an outer body experience. The environment lets you connect with nature and the food was really good. 100% recommend.

Just a short walk from the village, which also meant that it was in a beautiful and quiet area with an amazing view and jungle all around.

A little bit difficult to climb with the car but it was truly worth it. The food was amazing (and we are quite picky).

Incredibly peaceful place. I was hiking and have seen the free water refill sign at the door. And stayed for dinner. Super friendly staff. Place looks like you are in heaven.

Casa Chill Out is a beautiful place right at the edge of Minca town. You’re welcomed very warmly and immediately feel at home.
The rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and tastefully decorated.

We had a great a great stay with Casa chill out. The owner is very sweet and friendly.

I stayed here for two nights (in a different room each time) on a birding tour and was generally pleased with the standard of the accommodation.

Nice hotel, helpful staff and good breakfasts. Rooms were fresh and the aircon worked well. Generator on site so when there was a power cut in the village, power was restored to the hotel quickly.

We just spent 3 nights here and loved it. The room was fine, very spotless with offers from the maids to clean every morning. We got a peaceful sleep, especially with the sound of the river.

I stayed for 5 nights and it was great! The owner, Romaric works hard on this property, and I found him to be super helpful.

One of the best hostal I ve been it's amazing how nice. In the jungle. Good prices. View over santa marta. Big pool. Dorms available. Shared kitchen and gently staff. Wifi is working good.

This was a perfect stop on our honeymoon. It’s also a wonderful place to learn about birds.

Delicious food at the restaurant with homemade bbq sauce. Beautiful view, birds singing, minutes from downtown Minca and 20 minutes from Santa Marta.

Nice place to stay on budget, yet there are several issue.
Firstly, there is an amazing view from the terrace, many places around and nice owner which will help you in case there are any problems.

Arrived late evening to this quirky hotel. Our room was compact but ok. Breakfast is taken on the veranda overlooking the bird feeders & is plentiful. The grounds are extensive and good for birding.

Walking trail out to the waterfall and around the ground was beautiful. Beautiful area for sunset.

Nice quiet place just outside of town. Not many tourists walking by and except for the football field, there was hardly any noise.

I spent my last night in Colombia after a month of traveling around. It was exactly what I was after. Great location in Minca, short walk to everything but away from any noise.
