Great value for money in Minca. Slightly away from the business of the town centre.
We booked the double room with Balcony and honestly it was a massive surprise once we arrived as the outside of the hotel doesn't look like much.
We were very pleased.
The bathroom also seemed new and plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was alright with 3 different options.
Common areas probably need a bit of refurbishment, we didn't use the pool.
Great air con, you can have it on all day which is a rarity in the Sierra Nevada area. We were in the basement room but it was spacious and clean for the most part. The shower could do with a deep clean as there's some scum in the corners and the drain has a bit of a funny smell. Breakfast was good but no fruit. I believe coffee was available all day.
Good location in Minca, just up a small hill from the main road. The rooftop has a great view of Minca and Santa Marta in the distance.
We were overcharged for laundry so don't do it here!

Spacious room, delicious breakfast, a swimming pool that is finally clean and not so mini (experience from some other hostels we stayed in), friendly staff, quick and clean laundry service, nice mountain view from our room and the terrace. Slightly away from the main street but Minca is really small that everything is 10-15 minutes walking distance. Overall a really lovely stay that’s very value for money.
