This hotel was a really terrific deal, even more so when you consider that breakfast was included as well! Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds.

Our family weekend stay at the Stonegate hotel was outstanding.

This is an older hotel that is difficult to move your luggage & other needs from the parking area and car to your room.

I recently stayed at the Champlain Hotel Orillia with my family, and we booked three rooms. We were very pleased with our experience.

We booked for a celebration party at Mountain Ash Farm and everything went perfectly. Pattie helped us locate some local vendors and let us tour the property before our event.

Honestly it is because of your staff! The staff at a hotel can make or break a stay.
My stay didn't start out perfect.

Enjoyed our stay overall. Staff was understanding for the most part that we were there for a hockey tournament. They were great on the Saturday night to accommodate some of the gang which was awesome.

Perfect one-night stay for our family on a ski trip. The pool was clean and the hottub provided a nice relaxing moment for us after a long day outdoors.

Mr Patel checked us in and got us the perfect room, just look at that view. Our New Year’s Eve stay was a great experience. Great family friendly hotel.

Rooms are clean, not that bright, but quite functional. Bed is very comfortable.

Down sides: Breakfast did not include bacon/eggs, just toast cereal and juices, yogurt as well as DIY waffles. No hot tub with the pool.

Great place to stay at a very reasonable rate. Cleanliness is over and above what you would expect for the price. You can tell the owner cares about the place.

Modern rooms with USB charging and Netflix. Staff were helpful and the room was clean. There is food within walking distance. Nice place to take a nap if you need one while on the road.

They really upgraded since last time I was there, newer bigger rooms clean and a decent continental breakfast a lot of options. Location is great right off the highway and plenty of places to eat.

Room was nice and big, bed was super comfortable. Could of used a vacuum, the floor was a bit dirty. There isn't any cable, only 3 or 4 channels. Otherwise great experience.

Good big Fridge. Breakfast with scramble, sausage and make your own waffles was great. The fresh made muffins were good as well.

Room was small, bed was comfy. The fridge was bigger than most hotels I’ve been to and there was a microwave which was great.

Five stars for a one-star Hotel. Stayed in the middle of the winter on the way for skiing. It's not perfect but it's the cheapest hotel in Orillia. Staff were very welcoming.

First off we would like to say that Summer, at the front desk, is great. She is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed talking to her.

Honestly was pretty good! Paid a decent price for two nights. The room was clean and simply but nicely decorated. Had all the basic needs that helped with the functionality of the room.

This is a really decent hotel, especially for the money. It has all kinds of restaurants and shopping around it, and it's just off HWY 400. The staff are attentive and friendly.

Our vehicle broke down near Barrie so we had it towed to the Honda dealer which is right near the Super 8. Service was amazing in helping us out as we had three little kids.

We had a room gifted to us through friends that do vacation time sharing and this is one of their spots. It was really nice to see all the activities going on and everyone enjoying themselves.

Absolutely loved our stay at Woodland Cedars! The cottage was cozy, clean, and its location is unbeatable—just a short 2-minute walk to beautiful Woodland Beach.
The hosts were warm and accommodating.

Stayed here for almost a week, Nicole was amazing and flexible with my check-in due to some issues with my flight. The room was quiet, well prepared, and lovely. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

I must say I was torn about what to put in this review. On the one hand, this is clearly an old establishment that I would consider as "2 star" on the hotel scale.

Wonderful place to stay and great staff! Very close to the main Beach and lots of extra room for guests!

Stayed at Monte Carlo Inn in Barrie and had a good overall experience. The hotel is nice and offers solid value for the price, especially if you’re just looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The welcome was warm and friendly.

Great hotel for the price. No complaints. If you need a basic room. Fir the right this is the place. Easy to get to. Clean. No weird smells like most low cost hotels. I'd stay again.

Positive: Easy check in, comfy bed, good air conditioning Negative: In need of renovation to update. Motel is unchanged from 1980

Well another year in the books. I love coming here. Every year I come back and it keeps getting better. A big thank you to Diane and her staff, anything you need they are there.

We've stayed here a few times along with other hotels in the area. What made me switch from picking best rate was Shianne at the front desk.

Shanea, was very nice and welcoming. She was friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Her positive attitude really made a great first impression. Highly appreciated!
