It’s hard to believe that this was our 13th visit to Fern Resort since 2000.

My family and I had a mini getaway last week at the Fern Resort and we had a great time! All the staff that we met and interacted with were kind, friendly and very helpful in answering our inquiries.

Great place for a night of stay cozy and comfortable matress greatest night of sleep, beautiful shower compared to most hotels I stay in and everything is very clean, honestly dont really understand

Comfortable beds and great prices! Will for sure be coming back if I need a somewhere to sleep. Owner is very kind as well!

This hotel. Nwver disappoints it is clean. Comfortable and the staff top notch only down side is rhe furniture in the rooms is starting to show age. Did jot affect put trip.

Ok the reviews had me a little concerned but after staying here I know they must of been lies. Ok it’s an older fully remodeled hotel with wood structure not concrete. So expect some noise.

Positive: Comfy bed. Negative: Although there was significant snowfall throughout my stay the snow removal contractor was only on property minimally.

The location and pool are certainly a hit as is the superior customer service. Basic clean rooms, with fridge, microwave, towels, a/c. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here during the Labour day weekend with my pup. Rooms were clean and as advertised. Property was clean and was very quiet at night.

We are still currently staying here and we can say Tony is beyond Kind-Hearted and the friendliness!

We ate at Yes taco, did not stay at the motel. This rating is ONLY for the Yes Taco restaurant. It was fantastic authentic Mexican food with a great server.

We absolutely loved this enchanting, historical, beautiful property. The hosts are lovely people who are excellent guardians of this important historical site.

Rich art work, lovely hosts, great cat 😺🐈 close to the marina and entertainment.

The owners are so so friendly and helpful. King size bed was so comfortable. My husband and I both enjoyed our 2 night stay. Clean and quiet. Close to eateries, could sit outdoors and relax.

Had an awesome stay at Knights Inn in Midland. A very friendly, hardworking family that manages this hotel and they were so welcoming upon our arrival.

I must say I was torn about what to put in this review. On the one hand, this is clearly an old establishment that I would consider as "2 star" on the hotel scale.

Wonderful place to stay and great staff! Very close to the main Beach and lots of extra room for guests!

Positive: The price! The staff were very helpful and accomodating. The beds and towels were clean. Negative: Cleanliness, stains and beat up rooms. The room (s)! Need to be updated and renovated.

We had a block of rooms here for my son's wedding. General consensus was that although the hotel is dated, the beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean.

Great view of the water. Easily accessible. Great communication with the owners. Check in and check out times were Great.

Good motel self but lacks service you have to do your own cleaning and ask for what u need other than that it's ok.

This place is wonderful! We stayed here for a couple nights with our dog. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and beds are super comfortable. We would love to stay here again. Highly recommend.

Very nice place to stay if you visiting Wasaga Beach. The room is clean and it is very close to major attractions. Plus is also has a pool.

Very clean, quiet, family oriented, and safe. Excellent salt-water pool. Staff are very helpful, eager to meet needs. 10 min walk to main beach, 5 min from Walmart and few places to eat.

A solid-choice for a budget friendly stay. The room is clean and comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a stay. The owner is friendly and accommodating. Location is convenient.

Owners are hands on staff and very helpful. I know quite a few who have been staying at this motel. The owners are good. They run the business and they do stuff on the motel on their own.

This place has always been very very helpful when in need. I appreciate the service they have provided to my mother. I know its not not the fanciest of places, but its a warm bed and hot shower.

The location is amazing walking distance to both the beach and town! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and accommodating. We will definitely come back!

Fantastic location and space. Management were very friendly and made the process/experience fantastic.
3 bedroom cabin provided the perfect amount of space and the location couldn’t be better.

Rooms are very clean comes with Toaster, TV, Wifi air conditioner, kettle BBQ and hot tub and so much more. You literally walk across the street to the Beach.

My family and I have stayed at The Inn on the Beach at various times throughout the seasons over the last 10 years.

My sister lives here and I lived here as a little kid! Very great place for live and there is even a pond to see ducks.

Room was as advertised. Though it did have a smell.
Service was excellent! Front desk very welcoming and helpful. The house keeping service employee Liz was beyond helpful.

The room was spacious enough for a single guest and I had a comfortable stay.

The services were good, nice and quiet. The rooms, though, were little run down. Cracks/chips in the walls. A big crack in the washroom mirror.

At first glance, it looks a little bit shady, but the service was awesome. The manager was great. Clean and comfortable.
I'll stay there again.

Grad trip booking:
As a final graduation trip we booked 6 cabins for a 30 person stay, and we would do it again in a heartbeat.

I have stayed at Alton Lodges many times for the past 12+ years and always had a perfect experience. The owners are awesome and friendly people.

Staff was incredibly friendly and our room was clean and spacious. Super grateful that we were able to get a spot so last minute on a busy weekend.

I stayed at this motel I absolutely loved my stay. The manager is very accommodating, and sweet. All the staff are absolutely amazing people. They made me feel like home away from home.
