Airport travellers inn hotel is the absolute last place in Calgary to rent a hotel anytime! Please stay as far away from here as possible! And just an advisory for those that don't know the place, I stayed for a full weekend in their supposed high end jacuzzi suite. I didn't even turn on the tub for 2 minutes and up out of the drain comes black whatever it was. Along with hair and toenails and skin from only God knows how many people before me… and when I took pictures of this disgusting and revolting mess of a room they call clean, the owner herself refused to move me and wouldn't give me a refund… on top if that she tried to blame me for the absolutely horrific mess this room was left in for me to"enjoy". Please please do not stay here. This hotel should have been shut down years ago… health inspection should be done but never has.

Worst hotel for privacy. It's a non smoking facility but yet when you go outside too smoke they are LITERALLY watching you. Every move you make it's all recorded and they sit there and watch everything. As you leave your room they are watching. 24 hour EYEBALL surveillance. If you want privacy DO NOT go there. You get more privacy in a public setting. Even when you arent doing anything HOT you feel like you're in lava.

I wouldnt even give this place 1 star, they post pictures of their nicest rooms and not the remaining rooms, the TV's have terrible reception, the toilet was clogged and they gave me a plunger to unclog it myself, the rooms stunk and the night shift manager stormed into my room while my son was in bed and I was using the washroom after knocking only once, then asked me if I was using the bath, I said no and then she opened the bathroom door to make sure I wasn't using that bath. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible place to stay for the night. Bad customer service and the room is too dated and smell bad. They charge $80 for a night but better to spend extra $10 at other hotels across for a good night sleep. Their breakfast is non existent cos is just like 2 packs of bread and broken down coffee maker. The night receptionist were very rude and insist on making a copy of my credit card to keep and I ask why and can they make sure my info is save then he started picking up a fight with us. Then his supervisor came and didnt do much but that one said she will just charge me extra rather than photocopy my card.

Shower was amazing size, no tub. Had little kids with. Water temp was very temperamental! Outlets not working right. No microwave (there was in other rooms). Beds good, breakfast was decent, housekeeping very friendly and accommodating.

Slightly far from the airport but location wise its a good place to stay in. I stayed here with my children in April 2018 for 3 days while visiting Calgary. Ambiance is good. Rooms were Clean and the customer service was great. They have good restaurants in their premises as well. Overall it's a great place to stay for few days.

This hotel has really improved their services from my last visit. They have renovated a lot. Rooms were very clean. Front desk staff were very helpful and polite. Their rates were highly competitive and they accepted cash deposit as well. The location of this hotel is ideal. It is in between the airport and the downtown. Calgary zoo is about 5 minutes from the hotel.

The room was perfect has a lot of natural light. Lots of parking space. The staff was friendly. Location was good and was just off the main road. Hotel is little outdated but clean and tidy. We have stayed there for three nights. We liked their bar and restaurant. It is a budget hotel so don't expect too much. The facilities are good for the price you pay.

The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Denny's restaurant in their premises is open 24 hours. Overall we had a great experience during our stay here. The price is also very competitive and that we liked a lot.

I stayed at Airport Travellers Inn with my family and found this place very nice. The hotel was clean and the staff was very accommodating and helping. I stayed on the third floor and our room was perfect, clean & tidy. They are located in between downtown and Calgary airport so it was convenient for us to explore various locations without wasting much time commuting.

We have had a wonderful experience at Airpot Travellers Inn & Suites. Staff was very friendly and caring. We (myself and my wife) stayed their for 2 days and we found everything that we needed. The hotel staff is very experienced and they have guided us regarding various tours and Travel information available within the city. Its a nice place to stay for a short visit. They have two restaurants and a bar in their premises. Room was clean and nicely done.

The reception area was clean. Rooms were nice and the distance from the airport and downtown was ideal. Denny's 24/7 restaurant is located in their premises. Good value for money.

This hotel has no regard for sanitization in the rooms that they offer. I rented the Jacuzzi suite for the weekend and what I received in return was absolutely horrendous and ultimately disgusting. Since I cannot post pictures of anything I will post them to their website directly and contact the health board immediately. This hotel doesn't deserve to be in Business whatsoever…

Please avoid this place. Do not visit for the love of god especially if you have kids. This place is filled with drug users, prostitutes and desperate souls who can't spend the night elsewhere. Don't spend your hard earned money on bad smelling dated rooms and rude staff/management. I stayed here on the 23rd February because I arrived late night in Calgary and everything else was booked and what was left was very expensive. Anyway… my room was cold, not clean and you can hear someone having sex next door all night because the walls are so thin. This place is definitely NOT kid friendly. Trust me if by chance you are in Calgary late night and need a room to sleep in, and your only choice is this place. Sleep in your car. It'll be a lot safer. Good luck if you want a refund. The rude manager and front desk ladies will not help you. avoid avoid avoid.

Good place for cheap, and no bed bugs. After talking with the staff about the bad reviews, they had no problem showing me the room I would stay in, and it was newly renovated, and had sleek modern furniture. Tara at the front was very pleasant to deal with, and she went an extra mile for me to make sure I was comfortable. I booked online instead of called in, and got it cheaper that way.

Initially chose this hotel as I figured such a cheap looking hotel would have a cheap rate but this was not the case as their "going rate" for a room was 108 which I begrudgingly paid. Upon seeing the room I immediately regretted my decision and went down to cancel my booking within 5 minutes of first paying but at which point they told me it was too late. Furthermore I then searched the hotel online and was surprised to see that they offer the exact same room we had gotten at the hotel online for 69$. When I brought this to their attention hoping for a correction or price match they said there was nothing they could do as it was through a booking service and not them. Awful hotel, extremely overpriced and incompetent management. Avoid at all costs!

Hmmm, I'm wondering if it's too hard to figure out for some hotel management/owners. I stayed here quite a few times and was never dazzled with the customer service here. The lady who owns it thinks it's ok to be rude to people. It's ok to yell at they're customers because they will come back… not! I have spent my last dollar in this dump folks. I wonder if she ever thinks as to why most of her rooms are empty, could it be the way she treats her "GUESTS?. Folks go elsewhere if you work hard for your money and want to spend it with out being yelled at because she has a strong personality. If the hotel game is too much pressure for you then find a different line of work. I have a choice on where I can spend my money and it won't be at heart break hotel ever again. This lady concussed me with someone else and said I was smoking in the rooms, folks I have never smoked a day in my life. Today she says " oh I had you confused with someone else". Crazyville… this place has gotten the last $$it will ever get from me.

Bed bugs! Bed bugs! Bed bugs (NO JOKE)! This place wss absolutely disgusting. The room was filthy and on top of that the employee and even the owner, Suki's attitudes were grosser than the establishment. I wish I slept in my car. Unsanitary at best.

The worst hotel I have ever seen. My friend told me that its a cheap hotel but never expected this. The lady at the counter was probably on drugs her hands won't stop shaking. She broke my credit card and then told me that I gave it to her like that. I got gas not even 5 minutes before I got there and it was perfectly fine at that time. I went up to my room and it was filthy. I could not stay there the whole night so went down to the main desk and got a refund. It's better to spend a little extra and go to holiday inn right across the street than stay here.

For a budget hotel this is a great place to go. But you do get what you pay for. I'd stay her again strictly. To save money or if I can't find a hotel room anywhere. Else. It's not horrible bit you skin may still crawl. The bar downstairs attracts a very odd crowd.

Ancient rooms, low ceilings, terrible staff. Told them every morning that we don't want our room clean, but the cleaning staff never got the message, even with a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. We don't like getting our rooms cleaned while we are at a hotel and we make sure everyone knows it but this was the first hotel to either not relay the message or employ people who can't read signs. Guests car alarm went off for an hour after midnight before I forced the person at the desk to do her job and sort through the parking registration slips to find which room the vehicle owner is in so it was finally shut off. Rooms are basic, very 80s looking, at best. "A nightmare" according to another guest at worst. The doors between two rooms don't lock either, and theirs no soundproofing on the doors to the hallway so if your neighbour has a "visitor" for a few hours then rest assured you'll hear everything. Hotel manager was too busy to return a call at the time of writing this. Will edit with his response.

The worst hotel by far paid $140 first night second $120 and I was the only person staying in rooms. The lady's at front are argumentative and rude. They tried to charge me extra for having day visitors. They also barge in whenever they feel like. So SAVAGE like. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone. I haven't even received any clean towels. Huge waste of money!

Smoky room, very tight and bad breakfast. Unfortunately, everything seems very old and capput. Although there is a TV, a new format or beautiful image it does not have at all, sometimes there are connection interruptions.
Otherwise, the hotel has no special features (e. G. Pool) or anything like that. The only small and dirty elevator isn't exactly great either. Beautiful it's not.
A very reasonable price would be the only reason for this hotel.

The Good: Amazing prices, decent size rooms, close to a Denny's, and close to Deerfoot and Highway 1. The Meh: Building exterior and lobby could use a modern refresh. The Bad: Water pressure in the shower was low. TV had plenty of channels but no guide, it felt like 1998. And the continental breakfast seemed a little bit lacking. (NO juice? Come on) Final Verdict? Pretty great, especially for less than $75.4 stars.

It was comfortable for the price. Some things need a update, like the linens, elevator and broken ice and vending machines.

Stayed there for two nights… Hotel is nice and prices are decent… I liked the room where I stayed… free breakfast, Wi-Fi internet, free parking… Staff is friendly and they gave me 15% off on my next visit!

I HA ha I use to com here often and also brought other people here. So the give me 10 percent of. And now I see it says online it is $65.00 so I asked for the price and the wanted $80 + tax so I said where Is my discount? and that young moslam was angry and send out when I showed him there price online.

I only stayed one night and I loved it the beds are nice and you dont need a credit card you can us debit or cash sobif ur looking for a place for one night I say come herr the staff is very friendly.

This place is scary. The rooms have neither micro oven nor a fridge. The blankets very thin, cold and below standard of a motel hotel. The internet is slow, its like jammed on purpose to fail if you try accessing live streaming, videos, music. The bathroom light is connected to the ventilator that make the whole room shake… the place smell of dust or smoke. You cant help feeling that you the only client in the whole building. No one along hallway.

Filthy rooms and terrible service.

Stayed there. Left a $200 deposit which I did not get back. These people are crooks. I called and asked for my deposit back and they refused. I asked them to reimburse, but they said it was my fault I didn't ask for it back. All of the hotels I have stayed in, I paid the deposit, and it was reimbursed to me through debit or I was mailed a check. I guess this hotel doesn't do that. The place itself was ok. Nothing spectacular. The service, however, is horrible, and the staff are not friendly or helpful. The person I talked to about my deposit couldn't care less that I was out $200. I said, "So you guys just keep it for yourselves? " and she said, "That's right. " Don't stay in this hotel. But if you have to, be insistent on getting your deposit back in the manner you used. They also claim that after 30 days, any deposit is theirs. The person told me it was my fault. I asked them to mail me a check, and they said, "No, we won't do that. " Like, why not? I also asked them why I was not contacted that there was a deposit still being withheld? "It's up to you to tell us you have a deposit here. It's your own fault you can't keep track of it. If you don't say anything, we keep it. It's not our problem. " Looks like the staff at this hotel just split a $200 tip that wasn't well-earned.

I wish I'd read online reviews before booking. Their website is misleading. They do NOT have an airport shuttle at all. It cost us $40 to get to them from the airport and another $30 to get back to there the next morning. That doubled the cost of the hotel! To be fair they are renovating so it's possible it will get better. But it had nothing going for it. The elevators were out of order (we were on the 3rd floor). They no longer have computer access in the lobby. There were electric cables hanging everywhere in the hallways. There was an ice machine but no buckets. There were no extra pillows or blankets and the blanket was thin. The phone wouldn't work until I called the desk and they "activated" it. It was ugly, depressing and a bit scary. I greatly regret trying to save a few bucks and not checking reviews! Stay away. Pluses: It was next to Denny's which was handy for breakfast. They do have coffee, cereal and Costco muffins. There is free Wi-Fi.

Very cheap for the price. Room was average. Bathroom was remodeled. And the thai food in the Hotel is the best in the City, for reals! For a tight budget this is the place to be! :).

The Point Inn worst place I've ever stayed in, reason we ended up at this Inn is because the place we wanted had no vacancies because of a concert and the storm. We had no choice. Point Inn had plenty of room now I know why. Person at the desk was snooty and unfriendlyThis Inn was creepy, I did not feel comfortable and it wasn't very clean. We had a small room with 2 beds, No fridge, old tv, old remote being held together with masking tape (dirty). Next morning we went for the continental breakfast, Everything looked dirty including the tables, they had this plastic covering all the tables, sides of the plastic all around the tables had dried up liquid and food on it. Disgusting. I did go to the desk &ask for orange juice the person at the desk was rude and unfriendly. What a turn off. We were getting ready to leave when I notice over the bathroom door was a plastic bag covering the smoke detector. Couldn't believe it this is really safe. Serious updates to Point Inn and the employees are needed. Way over price for what you get. Would not recommend it to anyone and would never ever stay at the Point Inn again at any price. We paid $107.95 for this creepy dirty place for one night. The only positive thing about this whole experience is Dennys Restaurent close by (excellent food &service) . (Dec, 2013) the Point Inn.

Room was filthy! we obviously got a room that had NOT been updated yet. It stunk of smoke, the tile floor had black hairs on it and had not been cleaned in quite some time as a previous guests' bottle of lip balm sat on the floor by the window. The front clerk at the time asked if we wanted a can of air freshener when we complained.

The pluses: Inexpensive rooms. They allow pets. They have included Wi-Fi. They have a cereal and muffin breakfast. Not the greatest but it's something. Denny's is nearby in case you want a more substantial breakfast. Also gas stations are nearby for grub or random items. The minuses: The area is sketchy and so are some of the other hotel guests. It's not 5 star luxury in the least. The entire hotel gives me the absolute creeps. It just has a really dated and creepy vibe. The Asian restaurant inside the hotel especially looks creepy and has the nastiest smell as you walk by. Conclusion: Overall it did the trick of housing my pets and giving me Wi-Fi for a couple nights so it was practical and worth it but it was creepy and I couldn't wait to leave.

Dennys is near by, hooters nd booze store also close by great priced.
