Polite and friendly staff. Pet friendly feels like your in your own apartment would recommend to all my friends and family.

I stayed for a month at the hotel for my recovery after a very complex knee surgery. I cannot thank enough the staff of this hotel. Everyone… from front desk, to maintenance staff, house-keeping and the General Manager made us feel 100% at home. They were so thoughtful and accommodating to our pets (two large bulldogs) and my wheelchair needs. If you are looking for an extended stay hotel in Calgary, look no more! Super recommended!

Absolutely stench smell when we got there. We’ve asked for cleaning and they keep forgetting and don’t care to clean our room saying because of covid. No soap no shampoo no toilet paper no clean towels. The Staybridge in California was awesome this place is horrible. We’ve tried to tell them a few times and we just get ignored. Like where’s the manager I have 3 more dreaded nights at this place.

So many wonderful amenities.

The internet is horrible and the rooms are dated. I used the pool once and noticed the ceiling is torn out with mould and insulation showing. Just because mould is on the ceiling doesn’t mean it isn’t airborne. The TV service is so garbly and pixelated. Because I had a third party paying for my room, the operations manager asked me why I was complaining. The Element by Westin is the same price and far superior.

Large renovated suites but service from house keeping and the front desk was disappointing — we were here for an extended stay of 6 nights but were treated exceptionally well.

Nice and relaxing clean room.

A room was reserved over 2 weeks ago via workers compensation board. I travelled over 2 hours with my small children to arrive and be told they were overbooked and had no rooms available! This after waiting nearly half hour to check in! Then we were told to wait while they called around to other hotels to see if they had anything available! No luck! Said they may have one room but they had to try and get ahold of a colleague first. So we waited… to be told she hadn’t reached her colleague as of yet and it could be an hour or so longer till she did and the possible room was cleaned! So back home we went… only to have to leave super early to arrive back in Calgary for a scheduled appointment! If they knew they were overbooked … they should have called since they had nearly 2 weeks not to mention the whole day to notify a customer! I will be letting wcb and anyone I know not to book here!

Friendly stall and pool and hot tub!

Hotel ran out of Shampoo! No shampoo in the room. My wife called down to the front desk and was told to come down. She then had to follow the man working the front desk around from empty room to room looking for shampoo. Pool is still out of service. Was told the pool furnace is not working. Other reviews said the pump was not working. Suites are big enough but very dated and worn. Room was dirty. Wife is angry, kids are disappointed and I can't believe that this place is still in business. I wonder if they even have laundry soap. Now I feel bad for the gentleman asking for a toilet plunger when we came in; glad we didn't get that room. Beware!

The rooms are spacious. Love that they have suites. Everything was clean as expected, kitchenette was stocked w what we needed. Used the grill for an evening dinner; that saved us a little $$$. Breakfast is good with a variety of choices. Loved having coffee available throughout the day. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Biggest disappointment was the pool and hot tub wasn't not functioning. Not heated. I was told at check in it was posted on their website but I didn't reserve my room via that site. We have 3 children and a pool is a highlight of any stay. Seems the pool has been out awhile. Our children DID brave it, though the adults didn't. Overall, enjoy our stay and would recommend it for a family.

This is a nice hotel in the heart of Calgary. Its clean and the staff are pleasant. I recommend if you like a good stay.

Not informed prior to arrival that pool was out of order. Went to pull out sofa couch for the kids to sleep on and it was full of nacho chips and other crumbs. Was really gross. Not what you'd expect when you pull it out. On a positive note the brunch was fantastic. Very well laid out with lots of food available.

Decent and clean place. Friendly staff. The parking lot has a bit of debris in it at times, but overall a good experience. Very convenient location as well close to lots of amenities.

We planned a family trip to come visit family and researched what seemed to be the perfect place to accommodate our group of 3 adults and 2 kids. We booked the 2 bedroom suite so we would have lots of room for the kids to enjoy and we had space and amenities to enjoy a family meal. Our main focus was the pool for the kids to enjoy during the day and space for the adults at night. After arriving to the hotel to check in we come to find out the pool has been down for 2 weeks. At no point during my phone call booking did the agent inform me of this closure and nothing was listed on the website. I had 2 very disappointed kids and frustrated adults as we tried to scramble on a Saturday afternoon to find a hotel that could accommodate our needs… not an easy task. As we make this trip frequently I was extremely disappointed since I thought we had found our new go to spot. I don't think ill be giving them my business in the future though.

My room was very clean and the front desk staff was very polite and helpful. I will most definitely stay there again.

I’m pretty pissed off we rented two rooms and was going good we checked out and had forgot an iPad my son even knows where he left in the room and we called to ask them and told us there nothing so now out an iPad Air (1500) Beacuse something shaded happening very unhappy.

The location is convenient and close to highways and restaurants. Internet speed are around 5mbps on average. Suites are good. Breakfast is also okay. Like that there are take out snacks like juice box and some granola bars.

First time here and it's first night so might change after more time here as booked all week for work not really a bad review just shocked as NO bathrobe first hotel ever that I didn't have a robe wish I knew I would have brought my own.

What a great place to stay with a pet! Super friendly staff & very accommodating. We especially love the complimentary buffet dinner & breakfast. It was great not to have to think about buying extra meals. Clean rooms with many amenities. We would definitely stay again!

Been coming here for a while now. The staff are probably my favourite to date. Super kind, accommodating, and efficient.

Rooms are clean and quiet. Tvs need updating as you can't stream to them like you can at the Holiday Inn in town. Breakfast is basic but passable.

Staff are courteous, meals are VERY robust (not ur average continental breakfast). Though the building is newly refurbished, the furniture is old, the TV setup in the room is horrible, and the pillows are not very comfortable. Might have to go out and buy my own pillows for the remainder of the week. 4 stars with the above considerations.

Second time we've used this hotel. We had a problem getting through on the phone to get the shuttle bus from the airport so we had to get a taxi but the front desk staff were very apologetic and paid the taxi fare. Really helpful staff with plenty of advice for places to eat etc. The hotel isn't as handy for the airport now that a new runway means the travel time is longer but I will definitely use Staybridge Suites for airport stays again due to the spacious rooms and great service.

We went to visit a friend staying at Statbrudge Suites. I was impressed with how this place provided good services for their guests. Really nice.

I have always enjoyed it there but it's time for new beds & the fridge was making alot of noise but they informed me that they were going to be renovated at the end of the year. I love the pool and breakfast is great. Staff was very nice.

We had a good experience there. Got there early for a great supper. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Only disappointment was pool had no apparent heat and the hot tub wasn't running.

A nice run of the mill hotel room — clean, comfortable, spacious — and at an amazing price.

We had a 3 bed suite. The third bed was I'm a separate room with it's own bathroom. The room was clean. It was in a good location with multiple eating options. The Wi-Fi was pretty fast and the TV had a good selection of channels.

While I'm somewhat used to other guests not knowing proper hotel etiquette, mainly staying quiet in the hallways, I feel like there shouldn't be any excuse for the staff. I don't like being woken up early after I check in late the night before no matter how funny the jokes may be. Otherwise, the rooms were nicely stocked, and breakfast was decent too despite not having much on hand. I'm assuming it was a unexpected busy morning.

Nice hotel. Wi-Fi is probably the best I've seen in Canada. Water pressure in the shower is great, towels are nice as well. Bed is a little uncomfortable, but not horrible.

I was in a suite. Clean, very well priced. Walking distance to mall and major amenities. Close to airport. Suite was very spacious. Very comfortable. Will definitely rebook!

Our stay was excellent. Super outstanding customer service and whatever our needs were even if it was batteries changed in the remote they the ladies were very helpful. We will be staying there again next time we need to stay over night in calgary even though edmonton is our home.
Great breakfast especially the flat bread egg n cheese thing AWESOME! Very clean and the swimming pool was my relaxation time. Thank u ladies at the staybridge suites!.

We loved our room. The staff is very great! Very friendly. The food was delicious. The manager spent time with the guests during the social. I loved the pool area also. We will take all 4 of our kids there one day.

A little hard to get to but is nice. The rooms are not dirty and nic ebreakfat in the morning.

It was clean and comfortable, the pool is noce and so is the servoce. The free breakfast was more then I expected.

Spacious and clean rooms. Great breakfast spread too. The kitchenette in the rooms is quite good with clean and good quality supplies and appliances.

We stayed here on the 16th/17th. It is amazing. We got a suite that fits our family of 6 for $254. The hotel room blew our minds. We were expecting a suite with only one bedroom but two beds and a living room with a pull out couch. What we got was a suite with a separate room for my husband and I with a large bed and it's own bathroom. Then there was a kitchen area with a small stove (all dishes included for eating and cooking, great to know for the future as that will save us a ton of money knowing we can just bring groceries or premade meals and cook right there in the room), apartment sized fridge/freezer and even a dishwasher and sink. The living room was a perfect size too with a pull out couch. The second bedroom had two beds and another bathroom. The stay also included a free hot, fresh breakfast that was spectacular and tons of healthy yummy choices for all. They have a pool, waterslide and hot tub as well. They also have free laundry room for the guests to use and also a free library with books and games you can borrow. It is a 3-4 star hotel. We have only ever stayed in 2 star. The service was amazing. Everyone so polite and happy. And the place was very well maintained. It is the perfect family/business hotel. We will be staying here in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

Great room and breakfast. Pool was REALLY cold and we were told they couldn't do anything about it. Made it difficult for our 2 and 4 year old to really enjoy the swimming. Otherwise it would of got 5 stars!

Crappy hotel. The staff is unfriendly and not bothered. They overcharge guests each time. I had seen guests clicking pics of unclean cabinets and kitchen and showing it to the manager. Do yourself a favour and go to best western next time.

The stay was ok, actually enjoyable. However the low review comes from what happened after my stay. I accidentally left my thumb drive in the TV. We were showing baby pictures etc. After I left, I was an hour outside of calgary, and I realized I forgot my thumb drive in the TV. I called the location I stayed at. Initially, the lady at the front desk said she would check for it and called me back. A few minutes later she called back, and said there was nothing in the TV plugged in. I was very concerned as my memory is very good, and I knew it was there. I then called back and asked for a manager, for I suspected it was found and not turned in. When I said this, she then said that I was suddenly found. This was very suspicious to me. Then she said she could mail it to me, but it would be very expensive. She could not give me quote. I said I would be coming back to calgary In the months to come, and if she could keep it until then. This was a big mistake. I should have had it mailed, I have original baby photos on this expensive little thumb drive. So today, I am passing though calgary, and I stopped in to picking up. He lady at the desk looked for it, and really took her time. After waiting patiently, I even took out my phone to watch some YouTube videos as I was waiting for so long. Then she came back and said she couldn't find it, and suspected the former cleaning staff manager had it, but was no longer employed with staybridge.

For business this hotel is great. Little kitchenette to cook and store food while staying for a week. Great breakfast. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday dinner very good both in the food but meeting other guests as well. Room is always well cleaned and up to date. Fruit and coffee/tea/hot chocolate complementary all day long. Very good. Will continue to recommend this location.

This location advertises that it is near the Calgary airport and has a complimentary shuttle. What they don't tell you — — even when I called the front desk — — is that they are 15+ minutes away from the main Calgary airport. AND, in addition to their shuttle serving two other hotels, it also does pickups at the smaller regional airport. So it took a little more than one hour for me to get to the hotel from the time I called for shuttle service. Oh, and they have two shuttle vans but only use one — — the driver told me the second one has been parked "for months. " And because of the poor shuttle service in getting to the hotel, I used a taxi to return to the airport the next morning — — couldn't risk having to do two or three other pickups on the way to the airport. If you're staying in Calgary overnight and need a place near the airport, don't consider this Staybridge Suites location.

Smallest suites I've seen in a Staybridge. Not a great breakfast. 6/10.

They have all someone needs for long-time staying — from free laundry to pool and gym. The stuff is very friendly. Was living there two times two months each time. It is as close to home as hotel can be. There is also nice area around — a lot of places to eat, Sun Ridge Mall, Odeon cinema, the choice of supermarkets and various stores. If I go to Calgary again will choose it again for sure.

Stayed three nights. Nice, clean hotel, PERFECT for families or or extended stay visitors. The staff was courteous and professional. The bedroom was off the kitchen making this feel more like a little apartment vs. A hotel room. We even entertained some friends! There were a variety of shops and dining very near by. And access to the freeway (s) were a breeze. This hotel had everything we needed and we will be staying again. Not only in Calgary but in Anaheim as well. Great job StayBridge.
