Exclusive Backpackers Hotel

The hostess is lovely and has a lovely smile … but I got the feeling she was placed in the front position because it would be difficult to complain to her because of her outward manner. And really there's a multitude of things to complain about there and I only had to spend one night!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Bathrooms are clean, if a bit dated. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very good prices. The Wi-Fi didn't reach the upstairs rooms which is a shame, but overall I had a fantastic experience. In a fantastic location with easy bus ride to airport, and free buses around the city. Highly recommend.

I stayed with my girlfriend for about week. The staff were warm and very helpful! Also the location of the hostel is PERFECT! Free buses within the city area and walking distance to the beautiful swan river & site seeing placing. We had a fantastic time! :)

Genuine, kind hearted and caring. With no one and nothing you were there for me and when I needed it most I feel safe in my home. Thanks Mom xo.

This place is not a backpackers more like a half way house/lodge.

Full of crack heads, smack heads and every other kind of dysfunctional member of society Perth you can think of. Think EXCLUDED not exclusive!

Decent rooms at a good price.

A lot people are talking about them having good cleaning standards backpackers recommended it.

Unfriendly staff, curious about every detail of your life. However, the amenities are decent.

Stayed with a group of 9. Stelios provided excellent service and was very helpful even we arrived late on check-in day. Very easy to reach by bus from the airport.

Not clean to many drugies on aircon and rude owners left early and didn't refund the days I had paid for wont be going there again for a dollar more you can get aircon and pool at YHA Perth.

Vaso was very welcoming, the place spotless. Good showers, good sleep on a comfortable bed and it was peaceful. 100% stay again.

The seemingly friendly owners of the hostel charged me 70/night for two nights when the room I lived in should only cost 60 per night (a room with no window and no air-conditioning turned on during my two-night stay). I had to slightly open the door the whole night to get a bit of air into the room. Some tenants were terribly loud, and someone turned on their TV the whole night with a volume that you could hear clearly in your own room. I heard people complaining about food being stolen from the kitchen fridge, and mine was stolen, too. I saw many unhappy people live in this hostel. That said, you pay 70AUD, and you do not have to share your room. The location is relatively close to the city centre. The toilet and kitchen and living space are clean. Criterion hotel that I only booked for three nights (82/room with private shower and zero distance to everything), was a much better choice.

Some bloke called cristof who is friends with management bullied my teen son in the showers, when confronted a physical fight ensued, management became involved. I wanted police, and management said no they would handle it and that if I didnt go to my room I would be kicked out. We then requested to use TV room and was refused, cristof was watching tv. Then we requested to use kitchen to cook and was told to make it quick and return to our room. All with cristof laughing and sneering standing with management. 590 was paid for my weeks stay and a second week was about to be. My money must not be as good as his.

The manger is all ways watching porn no joke seen I for my self and they do not warn you about a pedophile in the hotel my son all most got touch my son told me and confronted him and he slaped me so I left told the manger and he said stay away or ill be kicked out so I left the next morning shower offence kitchen bad no body clean up after themselfs.

I had been there for one week (7days). So. all is clean. There is one unfriendly guy that everyday clean all the place. There are 3 owners: the old man, the wife (? ) And the son (? ). They live there, they are gently if you follow the ''rules'' that nobody tell you. So if you stay there just few night maybe you never know these laws. There is a PARKING. Is very small and if you are a bad driver like me:bee carefull to the other cars XD hahah There is a smocking area on the back where you can find someone to talk at all the times. The kitchen is pretty good! But close at 10pm and open at 9am. And be carefull tl don't waste water or gas because the eye of the old owner is everytime behind your back. :) hahaha Good place. I would recommend you stay away from this place, they charged me for 2 nights when I first got there and than recharged my credit card from the number on the reservation the next day again. Luckily I was back in Perth a week later and had to go into the backpackers and argue with the man to get my money refunded. Also if you are a girl be careful the older man who is the owner was extremely creepy to all the females who stayed there, following them around and wouldnt leave them alone.
