Good size rooms, very clean everywhere, nice bar and tasty food. All staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely swimming pool. Beautiful foyer and communal areas.

Enjoyed a stay in the suite with access to Regency lounge. Very happy with canape and drink service. Nice to see duty manager being proactive and asking for feedback. All staff we encountered were polite and helpful. Enjoyable buffet breakfast.

Came for an event, got there early to lounge by the pool, pool bar closed. Order food in the lobby and was served corn chips and cheese. The event room was over packed, food was rubbish, drinks were awful, music system was all over the place and the band didn't know the words to the songs. Confusion with payment. Bitterly disappointed.

Work event in the grand ballroom. Loved it. The food was amazing, the jus was rotisserie chicken concentrated and the potato matched it perfectly. Staff where amazing. No strained smiles. Everything was perfect.

I’m a decorator, they r very friendly with decorator and help me a lot. Place is very big, good for party.

Service was very good and they are very friendly. Towels are outdated and need to be replace. Some other 3/4 star has coffee machines in rooms but thus 5 star has kettles with very cheap coffee. Delivery charge for room service — what for! Really after what you pay for accommodation! Do not recommend…….

Great location with great conference facilities.

We have just returned back to Adelaide with the Offical AVFC tour and can not speak highly enough of the hotel. The staff are amazing The rooms are fantastic and spotless The food and service amazing Thank you everyone for making our trip a total success.

No wonder the hotel was nearly empty.

High tea for a charity event, stale bread for sandwiches, not even a full sandwich per person,, cold tea and had to ask repeatedly for a top up and could it be hot, staff seemed to be too busy to get tea to the table. Was bottomless champagne but no staff to pour it, but then as they couldn’t get tea to the table there was no surprise the champagne wasn’t poured.
Food was not worth close to the $70 we paid pp. When we asked to take the 3 tiny desserts home as we wanted to leave, we were told no. So they took them and threw them out, rather than allow us to take them home, after we paid for them. Hotel is very dated, no atmosphere and staff seemed uninterested in serving or making it a nice experience. When you pay for a table of 8 people and every person leaves disappointed, something is wrong

Disappointing food. As a vegetarian to be regularly given luke warm fried rice and a few vegetables is very poor. No choices, no idea what I'm being served and saddened to be paying $60 a day for this food. WA Health should be more involved. Never had I thought I'd be heating my meals on an iron!

I would like to thank the Hyatt hotel for such fantastic service and the cleanliness of my room. I had a fantastic stay here and still enjoying it here, pool and sauna are fantastic. I would rate the staff 11/10 if I could I can’t fault nothing at all. Well done the Hyatt staff. Keep up the fantastic effort.

Was served a rotten apple for breakfast and halal requirements were not adhere to when food served, had bacon/ pork. Very unpleasant which added to my isolated state I was in.

Great day, awesome venue … service time and effort at the front bar could improve. Waited nearly 15 mins for a drink with 100 people and 1-2 slow people serving. Apart from that awesome.

Well I have to say I have been at the hotel for 2 weeks in quarantine from Melbourne, had no idea where I was going to put, thankfully it was a nice hotel, the rooms are brilliant and spacious. Very clean, the staff have been fantastic considering they can’t have any contact, they will do all they can to help and make your stay better. The nurses and health team are lovely, meals are all good considering the numbers, not 5 star meals but can’t really expect it with the circumstances here but been very happy even in these crazy circumstances, so thank you. Paul.

Service crap and NO room service, staff rude.

We just spent two weeks in hotel quarantine and I cannot fault the Hyatt Perth. The staff were amazing and responsive to our needs. The food was great and the room exceptionally clean. A challenging time, made tolerable by a great hotel.
Infection control procedures were perfect and security staff knew what that were doing. Be assured there’s no risk to anyone else staying there. Thank you Hyatt Perth, for keeping WA safe!

Myself and 18 friends had an absolutely fantastic High Tea yesterday!
Such a great venue, very friendly and efficient staff, scrumptious food, wonderful atmosphere and our glasses were constantly being topped up for those of us who paid the $7 extra for unlimited sparkling wine!
I’ve been a few times to the Hyatt for high tea and will definitely be going again! Thanks Hyatt… you’re the best ❤️ xxx.

Beds are always comfy and clean, and also quiet. Happy staff.

Hauled up here for quarantine. The staff went over and above to ensure we where ok and well looked after. The Easter treat for the kids was incredible. Thanks guys.

Offloaded from a broken down (A380 int’l) plane, 500+ travellers landed at the Hyatt unexpectedly. They did a great job to accommodate, feed and water us. Had to get staff in to work quickly, extra food (l’m guessing) etc etc. Even management were in the cafe waiting & clearing tables.

Came here for a function. Ample street parking available in the evening behind the block and friendly staff. Carpet looks a bit dated, but otherwise function rooms are clean. Audio and visual systems were OK and provided clear projection of the speakers voice.

Had an event to attend in the hotel and decided to get a room for the night. Overall was great service and very professional. Only a 2 min bus ride from Elizabeth quay made for an easy lunch outing.

Fist time in this hotel. Loved it. Spacious throughout. Excellent staff. Had river view 9th floor just lovely. Brill room had everything we needed there or a phone call away.

Located in the edge of the CBD, the Hyatt is an aging hotel. For the cost and 5 star rating, I expected better rooms. Realistically the rooms are dated as are the bathrooms. Facilities are great though. Good cage and her in lobby. Parking under the hotel is $30 per night.

Great location. A little old but still very classy. Room was good and so was food. Parking is fair at $30 so worth checking out.

A pleasant stay. Found the club experience somewhat disappointing, too many people in such a cramped area, need more larger and comfortable chairs. Would have liked cocktails served not just spirits and wine. Table for breakfast way too small also had to keep putting items on ledge. Room upgrade appreciated however, could hear all toilets flush and neighbours noisy near our front door late at night.

Pretty great for its price. Not the best but it's comfortable enough. Location wise, it's not really near any shopping centres or fast food restaurants, but it's in close proximity to the Swan River which is a big plus for people who likes to go for a stroll.

Really good food for a buffet the roast beef is amazing as well as the dessert area. The thing that let it down on was the lack of staff on roster. It was so hard to get a drink and water I'm surprised they even bothered. They even insisted on sitting us next to another couple even the half the place was empty. would get five stars if they put more stuff on to serve the customers they did have.

Carpets need cleaning some chairs in lobby need cleaning. Could do with walking ramp to sidewalks easier access to ATM staff excellent especially Annaleise 8 floor club bar etc Reported case of stolen phone did get it back due my nephew informed staff at reception did not seem bothered room Okay however cleaner never took rubbish away if it was not in the bin. In talking of the negatives good experience and WILL. Stay again.

It is not a 5 star, it is a scam. The only thing you have is a magnificent lobby, but nothing more. Service is bad in the restaurant, lack of staff, charge you for everything and go to the hoax, if you strain so great, very little serious and professional. Gym small, abandoned swimming pool with toilets old and dirty, in short, may already be preparing a reform and be cheating themselves do not want to be a three-star hotel.

Had our year 12 ball there. TERRIBLE food options, all luke warm or cold and terrible choices. Cardboard chicken patty like things and chips? Not at all fancy. Desserts were gross, seemed store bought, frozen then defrosted. Ball room was tiny. Waiters looked bored out of their minds. Only reason it was a good night was because of the people. Disappointed.

The Hyatt is a beautiful hotel with an excellent location. It is close enough to the CBD and shopping to walk in 15 mins or less, but is far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Behind the building there is a long park by the river and even an open air cinema. The hotel gym is pretty good, though busy. The pool and poolside area is beautiful and captures the sun well, while also providing loads of shaded areas. It also has a tennis court! Rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, and the beds are large and comfortable. The buffet dinner in the restaurant is absolutely a must, it's not like any buffet you've had before-guaranteed. Breakfast is a good call also, make sure you go in hungry. The staff were so helpful and we'll mannered also. Loved the stay here.

Great hotel with lots of facilities and lots of pictures.

Lovely hotel close to Langley park. We loved the heated swimming pool. Couldn't work out how to access the lobby with a wheelchair from Adelaide Terrance but could from riverside drive side. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful location. Only about a block from the Swan River, Queens Park, and several coffee shops and convenience stores. Staff is wonderful! So helpful in helping us arrange day trips.

We were gifted a night here for our 25 th anniversary. The room was clean and spacious. We used the pool and sauna which we enjoyed and had lovely service from Ryan and Wennie. Both dinner and breakfast were tasty. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly from reception, bar, dinning and poolside and I would certainly give the staff at the Hyatt 5star. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Stayed in the hotel for one night, got a club room with a nice view, which was very clean. however their staff didn't make us feel very welcome. Everybody seemed to use a rude wording, they made us feel like we wouldn't have the money to stay at their property — even though we're having the highest status at hyatt (Globalist). It began with the bell man, who told us if we would leave the car one minute longer than 30min he would fine us with 50dollars. Further on at check in the lady only grudgingly satisfied our wishes and didn't want to give us the complimentary upgrade in the first place. breakfast was a disappointment. We payed for it extra, which was a mistake. The selection is very poor, you can't even find a wholewheat bread. Also we had to ask for our coffee 3 times, and the restaurant wasn't busy at that particular moment. we really wish that food&beverage as well as staff behavior would achieve a certain level, which could be expected from a category 4 property.

The hotel is old and quite remote from the dynamic city area. I experienced quite a few issues with the bathroom, so they offered a better room with a river view which was a bit more spacious. Breakfast variety wasn’t too bad. Dinner buffet was overpriced.

The room & bathroom is spacious. Bathroom cabinet is outdated, shower head spray is not adjustable, bath water is rusted when we fill it up. Loved the swimming pool. Breakfast was fantastic, has great range and egg cooking station. We stayed on level 4 which had partial view of swan river.

We were looking forward to our overnight stay to celebrate my husbands birthday and were delighted when we could upgrade for an extra fee. The room was huge with a sitting room and separate dinning room and kitchen. It must have been the best of the best 20 years ago. And there's the rub. The rooms were clean and tidy, however we were there on a hot day and the aircon was next to useless neither of us could sleep because of the heat. Some of the furnishings were in a very poor condition. We used the 8th floor " drinks and nibbles" that were included to find the area was squeezed into a small space that was made of 3 small room next to some stairs. Ones gets the impression that is was very much an afterthought (i would recommend that senior staff be sent to some nice hotels overseas to see what international tourists expect) I find it disappointing to see on a regular basis staff walking in front of the paying guests and the guests apologize for being in the way. Don't get me wrong there are also some wonderful staff that are happy to help. Overall impression is that the hotel is dated and requires an update. Some staff training wouldn't go amiss. We did enjoy aspects of the stay but it needs work to be in the league it wants to play in.

Good place to relax with friends for lunch. Their service is very good, the patisserie is very tasty. We could have a heavy lunch also. The street view reminds me to the other country that has a busy city such Jakarta. We' re able to window shopping to Hay street and Murray street at Perth city which is only take five minutes by bus. No money waste in Hyatt for dealing business.

We booked our stay at the Hyatt with Luxury Escapes for our anniversary. A very good deal including wine on arrival, free parking, breakfast & vouchers for more food at the hotel. Had been here before & knew about Club Recency. Gave us a king room on the top floor, nice & quiet. We had dinner at Oriental Joe's. Again been before & food is good but I chose Green Curry & it was Chilli Hot. We have been to Thailand & it should be mild & aromatic so if you don't like hot skip this one. I like hot & couldn't eat it all. The waitress tried to convince me because its a curry it should be hot! Breakfast is always amazing at the Hyatt Cafe & we were well looked after. Drinks & nibblies are available all day on Club floors. Drinks + canapes at 6pm onwards. This was more than enough for us after having a yummy tender steak sandwich & wedges late lunch from room service. We did upgrade to river view & it was worth it. I notice in previous reviews people complain about the Hyatt getting old but I believe there is a plan for major refurb soon so that will be good. Always has been a lovely hotel & so it will be again. Staff & housekeeping are friendly & do a great job. It's a big hotel & sometimes things don't always go according to our expectations, hey but that is life. We will be back.

I attended afternoon tea with a group of work friends. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food savoury and sweets were amazing and everything was delicious. I could not fault anything we all had an awesome afternoon.

I stay 3 nights this week. Staff were all knowledgeable and nice. I'd recommend if you can stay on levels 8 or 9 to enjoy the Club Lounge service. The Hotel has a few years on it now but I can see the pride in it's up keep and it has charm. I left a jacket in the wardrobe so we'll see if it gets mailed back to me efficiently as the staff described. Over all great experience.

I've just been to a function & the Hyatt Regency Perth on the weekend staying overnight, The function room was good & suitable for the event, not so fussed with the Dinner/Dessert Buffet that was served at the event good range of choices to suit all types of people but a few of the dishes were under cooked for my liking Raw potato in the salad & too much squid tentacles in the seafood rice. Drink choices not too bad but need to have more Beer varieties not just 1 type, when it comes to food/drink the next morning Buffet Breakfast was better still good range of choices to suit all types of people.
The hotel bedroom I stayed in not the best : (a uncomfortable bed, no choice of a sheet just a very heavy doona cover, the room itself was very sticky atmosphere even with the air con on, Bathroom towels too small not big enough to wrap around body. Overall for an overnight stay not too bad, All the staff very polite & welcoming.

Comfortable bed and great breakfast. Bathroom is a little bit dated but has very good water pressure. In room dining was very good with great tasting food and choices.

Lovely setting in thr foyer lounge. We waited to be seated for about 5 minutes before we went and found the head waiter to seat us. Our meals were OK but certainly not the quality expected for the price tag. I ordered the rib eye steak. The cut was thin with the bone removed. The scarce vegetable was quite hard. The cream galic sauce was spot on. Good wine selection. The waiting staff were very pleasant.

We stayed in a delux king room it was clean but nothing special, the tap in the bathroom continuously dripped and the toilet flush was useless it would get stuck. In the morning we went for breakfast and had to wait 10mins in a queue before being shown to a table, the plates were stone cold for the buffet and the food was cool not hot, we have stayed in 5 star hotels before and this was not the same standard, the only good thing was the staff very welcoming and very attentive, wouldn't stay here again.

Highly accessible location in East Perth, situated between Adelaide Terrace and Riverside Drive. Easy to access via car or public transport, and if needed there are also taxi stops. Service is always impeccable, international standard without a second doubt.

Room is a good size and has all the normal little bits and bobs. Bathroom nice and clean. Decor usual hotel standard — older hotel but will maintained and clean liked the pool. Got a very good rate, so certainly excellent value for money.

The staff are attentive and easy going. Rooms are in good condition and no problems getting more amenities when required. Extensions were painless and sorted out quickly.

Highly recommend the breakfast to everyone. They have it all here and its all good! 630-1030am buffet. The hotel parking is easy to miss and its 25 or 30 dollars for a day. The morning weather was amazing and my wife and I walked down to the river 5 minutes (August). The bed was nice and the place was clean with Wi-Fi too.

The staff were very friendly & helpful, there was sufficient variety of food. My grandson enjoyed his 18th birthday with his relations & I'm sure he will always remember this special day. Thank you.

This hotel doesn't deserve the Hyatt Regency label. It is old and badly in need of updates. The rooms are clean but very dated. Noise from above, below, and next to the room kept me up all night, and this was on the club floor. The dinner buffet at the hotel restaurant was ridiculously overpriced at $65 and service was horrible. Food was not good, with congealed sauces and overcooked dishes. One tip — label the dishes on a buffet. It's risky not to label items these days when people have food allergies, sensitivities, and preferences; the cooks working the grill spent half their time explaining all the dishes while trying to refresh the food and grill custom orders.

This hotel is amazing! As soon as you walk into the lobby you get a feel for the grandeur that is the Hyatt Regency. Swimming pool is fantastic and the sauna is great too. Hotel room was nice and the amenities were of good quality. Best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel.

Double charged my account, stated at checkout that they had not charged the card, despite being informed that it had been prepaid before check-in. They promised to reverse it. Still waiting six days later. If they wish to avoid passing on credit card surcharges there are more up front ways to do it.

Whilst the room itself was nice the Hyatt has made a mockery of the check-in process and debiting from my account! In total I have had $421.73 taken from my account for a $185.49 room! I stayed 3 three days ago and have been ridiculously out of pocket since with no information or warning that they were going to be taking more money or how slowly the initial transaction would be returned to my bank! I will NOT be recommending the Hyatt to anyone now after this.

Always a delightful stay in the Regency Club rooms. Impeccably decorated hotel with helpful and pleasant staff. Great views over the river. Cheap parking compared to other CBD hotels. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Perth CBD.

I would say our stay at the Hyatt was pitiful for a five star hotel it fell way below the mark. The room actually felt claustrophobic and the facilities in the room were next to none. We could not put any food on a plate as there were none and nothing to heat anything up on. We have stayed in a lot of motels/hotels and this one we thought would be exciting but it fell well below the mark of excellence it was more a backpackers experience. We will definitely not being staying there again.

The Hyatt Regency is probably the most popular City Hotel for School Balls Perth. Pink Hummer Perth limousine hire provide a chauffeur driven limousine service to The Hyatt every Friday and Saturday night between January and May of each year. The entrance to The Hyatt is very grand, which is what the school ball students are hoping for. The Hyatt has a ramp which the Pink Hummer can climb so the school ball guests can disembark and arrive directly into the lobby ballroom. The pickup and after party service we provide begins at midnight when the students leave the ballroom at The Hyatt. There is great visibility even at that time of the evening for the school ball guests to find the Pink Hummer Limousine.

Average hotel. Definitely does mot deserve 5 stars. Cleaning and house keeping an issue. Outdated and stale decor. Old (paint stripping off) furniture and fixtures. Not centrally located. Staff are nice though.
