Motels in GoldfieldsMotel

Absolutely amazing place to stay so clean rooms serviced everyday very reasonable price too.

Clean and tidy. Relatively new looking room/ amenities.

The staff were super friendly and incredibly accommodating.

Never realised how good the basics can be. Was just a room for a quick overnight stay, but it was neat and tidy, great hot water for a shower with plenty of pressure.

Very good customer service, room was spotless and smelled fresh, the bathroom was like brand new!
Had a good night sleep and would highly recommend!

Clean comfy rooms with lovely renovated bathroom.
Excellent value for price.
Would recommend.

We stayed there with family during Christmas time for 3 nights & were really satisfied with the service that they provided.

Amazing customer service! We needed last minute accommodation on an extremely busy weekend for 4 ppl and they squeezed us in. We are really grateful for the staff at miners retreat.

Very lovely and relaxed feel. Stayed 2 nights in a cabin. Shower was wonderful water pressure was great unlike some caravan parks.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Golden Country Motel & Caravan Park.

Candice is always friendly and reliable. Goes out of her way to acclimate me every time, despite my late check ins and often earlier departures. Would recommend to anyone!

We have stayed here 5 years ago when we needed to stop over in Avoca and we were very happy so it was an easy decision to return.

Decent motel for the price. Windows in the bathroom are always open. Does get cold. But all over, a fine stay.

Good facilities, overall clean room. I was impressed that the towels were large, there were also hand towels and 2 shower mats 👍👍. Bed was comfortable, check in and out easy.

Should upgrade the TV and give more than less than half of toilet paper roll.!
Missing water bottles as every normal motel and hotel.

Good, budget Motel. On arrival was promptly supplied with a key. Room was clean. No fuss, no hassles.

Room was a bit dated but was clean and quite. Not a massive walk to the shops but a bit out of the town center.

1. Friendly atmosphere in reception.
2. Room was very spacious and comfortable.
3 Wi-Fi and TV are okay.
4. Ample parking.
5. Need to water ferns which are dying outside the restaurant.

We had te best stay here! The room was spotlessly clean, suprisingly quiet, and the best was incredibly comfortable.
We really appreciated the modern updates and amenities.
We will definatly be back.

Had the most wonderful stay here over the weekend. Michelle was a lovely and welcoming host. The vibe of the motel was really great as it is an adults only motel, so it was very chill.

A great place to stay!
The motel is well-located, tidy and well maintained by the friendly on-site manager. A very well maintained pool area with pool towels provided.

Stayed here overnight as we had a function to go to the following day. Neat and tidy motel with a swimming pool. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the young lady manager was helpful.

Rooms are basic but comfortable. The location is great, walking distance to places to eat, 5 min drive to the wildlife park, and 3 mins to sovereign hill.

We visited ballarat on 13 ad 14 Feb 2026 spending Valentine in Ballarat and really did not regret taking the offer to stay in this affordable motel with spacious room.

Property manager is very nice. Always helpful and welcomes guests with a fresh orange juice.
Recommend motel.

My Wife & I couldn't speak more highly of Gurpit Singh, at The Sandhurst Motor Inn. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a problem, with The Kettle, not working properly.

I must say the rooms are extremely clean. The layout is perfect. You have room to store your bags plus a fully equipped kitchenette.
The staff are friendly.
Thank you.

Very comfortable bed! Very neat and tidy with a renovated bathroom. Conveniently located across the road from Red Energy Stadium so perfect for families travelling for basketball. We will be back!

It’s my first stay at this facility. Front counter service was welcoming and efficient. My room (One of 32), was spotlessly clean and well equiped. The room cleaners do an excellent job.

Comfy bed, noise insulation not that great.

The room is a little old but it's very clean. Thw room size is also comfortable.

Jing was welcoming and very helpful. Our room was clean and suited our needs.

Staff were fantastic,
Beds were awsom,
Breakfast was plentiful,
Lots of off street parking, a couple trailer spots.

Yes the rooms are dated, but they are very clean and the bed was comfortable. Not too noisy even though it was very busy.
The ladies at reception were so pleasant and helpful.

Had a great experience overall, the room was clean and the beds were quite comfy. Had a self check in system with a touch screen which was easy to use and provided a code to our accommodation.

Room was tidy and comfortable. Good to see lots of maintenance and improvements to the facility. I would stay again.

Woodman Hills Motel offers a mixed experience. The owners are great—friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout the stay.

Older motel but it is a little gem. Rooms are clean, tidy and a delight. New TV and fridge, bed is super comfortable, kettle, toaster, microwave, tea, coffee etc.

Had a great time friendly staff clean rooms and they let me bring my cavadoole.

Great location, within walking distance to the main part of town. Clean, tidy room, comfy bed, blockout blinds, nice toiletries.

Hotel is a solid 4. For the price it is a great purchase. The young guy running it does a great job and tries to help where he can.
Had 2 different rooms one with the new bathroom was better.

Husband stayed here late March on his way to Foster from South Australia.

Red Waratah was honestly everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely looked after. The entire team went above and beyond in every possible way.

We had my sister wedding across the road and was so convenient to have a room so close.
Rooms were amazing. All very new and fresh. Everything was sparkling clean.
